This series continues to enrapture me. This one has the girls have their first fight, when they are forced into a cohabitation situation where bad communication means they each have different expectations going in. Thankfully this isn't dragged out over the whole story, and instead is resolved pretty quickly and convincingly. Again, I can't blame anyone for what happened, if I was Aya I would have done the exact same thing probably. The kink aspects develop more and more, as this volume explores service play and verbal humiliation among others. It also gives Aya more of a chance to explore her switchiness in a way that feels realistic and satisfying. (Did I mention Aya is me fr?) It also solidified in my mind that Aya is in fact autistic, which makes sense since Mikami-sensei is one of those writers for whom Every Character Is Autistic (I Wonder Why?), though she does a pretty convincing job of writing Marika as neurotypical in spite of that (I think, I wouldn't really know what being neurotypical is like, after all). The end was very satisfying in multiple ways, including having a coming out scene that erased any doubt in my mind that the author herself is queer (no one writes a coming out scene like that who hasn't been through one themself, I maintain). I devoured this book like Aya devoured Marika, and I can't wait to read more!
