I started writing when I was 11, and my passion for creating worlds exploded from that point on. Romance writing came later, since kissing gave you cooties at 11, but when it did, I embraced it. Since then, all of my heroes and heroines find their happily ever after, even if it takes a good fight, or ten, to get there.
I currently live in Central Florida with my husband, our four children, and two parakeets. I work part-time as a PCU nurse when I’m not writing or traveling between sports and other activities.

Oh my, what a story!
If fae stories are your jam, you will love this series. Hell, even if the fae don’t make your heart go pitter-pat, you’ll love this story. It’s got it all; desire, betrayal, political intrigue, magic, soul bonds, jealous mean girls, redemption and of course, hot fae men, some steamy times and some really sweet moments of pure love. *sighs*
This book is the follow-up to Forbidden Heart, and it was definitely a page turner. It’s a much faster pace than the first book, but still pays attention to detail so world building isn’t sacrificed. While this is the story of Rihanna and her soul mate, Bryce, everyone from the first book play prominently in this book. If you follow my reviews, you know I love nothing more than a jealous mean girl, especially when they get their comeuppance. This book has not one, but TWO jealous mean girls . . . Be still my heart. The real evil one, Daeanna, is the same antagonist from the first book and she is even meaner and out for revenge. Get your popcorn ready guys and buckle up cuz it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this book. It all culminates in a showdown that did not disappoint. A lot of times these stories have so much invested in the lead up to a supposedly epic battle, only to have it over in a page or two. Let me tell you, I did not feel robbed with this ending. I think I held my breath for a couple of chapters! I would LOVE to see how Hollywood would produce the final battle. In fact, the only thing I’m disappointed in is that there won’t be any more books. I would dearly love to read a love story for Shay’s best friends, Thierry and Horano.
I would definitely recommend this book if you love sweet romance alongside an exciting drama.

My review of Destined Desires by Kira Nyte. This is the second book in the Talaenian Fae series. I met Kira at the Space Coast Book Lovers book con in 2025. I really enjoyed the 1st book so when I saw this on her table I had to pick it up. DD follows Rihanna, a Fae (and Shaye's sister), and Bryce, a human. R is conflicted when she meets Bryce. Because he is the exact image of her soulmate who was killed 200 years ago. She would like to think that Bryce is Mikhil reincarnated, but she is afraid of losing him again. All his life, Bryce has had super-realistic dreams. The woman of his dreams just showed up.
This story moves quickly and flows well. The writing and world development are such that you feel part of the story. I highly recommend this series.

I love a good cozy fantasy with found family and fated mates and this one definitely hit the spot! I loved Rihanna's character in the first book, and watching her struggle to stay away from her mate because he already has a life with another was heartbreaking. Bryce struggled to understand his dreams that seem more like memories and find the mysterious woman that consumes his thoughts
Loved seeing more of Shaye and Moira... And the underlying threat was just wild! Daeanna is definitely one of those villains that just ices your blood!
Overall, loved it and can't wait for more!

Definitely a Sequel
Undetermined if this story would be a stand alone or sequel, it is a sequel. Although it follows heartbroken Rihanna and her reunion with reincarnated soul mate Mikhail now Bryce Hampton. The feels and emotions in this story is brutal, raw and healing. Lots of action, drama and events. Good versus evil. I can see this being a tv series because of the drama and suspense. Well worth ready. Very dramatic, romantic with some comedy.

This was a truly great read. And I for one plan on keeping this in my library so I can reread this again. I was amazed on the plot. The villains. And the heroes. The best read ever!!!

As said about the first book, this one did not disappoint.
I feel again into the world and grabbed on for the wild ride I expected.
Love and hate surged through with a story that had me anticipating what was going to happen next.
I am now reading all of Kira's Novels as I am addicted.

Book #2 in the Talaenian Fae trilogy. I can't believe I never heard of this author before. Absolutely blown away with her imagination. So much going on that I had to finish before hoping to bed. Looking forward to more books by Kira.
