Mikoto wanders in search of someone who can fix his broken sword and happen upon a dwarf who could do it. However, the smithy has reservation which prompts Dog to give the reader Mikoto's backstory... which includes the backstory for the original Momotaro (which is more similar to the myth).

Let's just say, there were some things that you won't see coming.
