I just can’t trust the maid I hired recently that’s why I have to keep my eyes on her at all times. But since she’s so cute, she’s going to draw way too much attention if I let her come to school with...Um, why is that girl longingly watching us? No matter how mysterious and suspicious my maid may be, I can’t let someone else take her away!
Much better compared to the first volume. For the most part, the chapters followed a similar structure to the first volume of Yuuri finding Lilith suspicious, Lilith teasing Yuuri, and then Yuuri making Lilith embarrassed. However, there was a bit more variation and even some form of a plot. The plot, for lack of a better term, is a mix of Lilith's motivations and thoughts, as well as Yuuri returning to school after being absent because of the passing of his parents. Two new (odd) characters were also added, Yuuri's classmate and her butler. Overall, better than the previous volume, but nothing remarkable.
2.5 Stars. Similar to volume one in terms of its repetitiveness. There are a few pages that pulled a smirk out of me but never a full on laugh. Not bad, not great in the middle of the road volume. It was a nice change of scenery to see the master at school however. I will probably pick up volume three in the future.
This was a good volume, built on the first a bit but still retained alot of the repetitive moments, although I feel the new parts out weighted those! I still can't get over how amazing that lilith has her wyes coloured in each appearance! It's so Darn cool!
More very strange personalities introduced. The character interactions are a bit of a train wreck, but an entertaining one. Reminds me of Komi Can't Communicate.
Very minor spoilers ahead. The introduction of Tsukasa and her butler broke up the over done running gag from the first volume and the pacing is better here. Also seeing things from Lillith's side allows more mystery as to her and Yuuri's connection. There is a tiny bit of fan service in this one as we see Lillith in her underwear and a small dress up montage, but nothing is done with it and it doesn't distract from the story itself.
We get some insight into Yuuri's trauma, and we begin to see genuine concern from both Yuuri and Lillith for each other. What that true connection is, is the driving force for this series, and will be interesting to see the outcome...as I suspect it may be something more wholesome than it appears to be.
Again, Tsukasa and her butler steal the show in this one with the small role she has here. It reminds me of the interactions between Kaguya and Hayasaka in Love Is War.

This is a bit creepy, yet adorable and hilarious, too.
I'd sure like to know where I could get a maid with a body like and who dresses like Lilith. Many more sus things going in between the two, and Lilith has to wear a much more realistic outfit for observation day at school. It fits, but man, those shirt buttons, they really get a workout! Needless to say, Lilith is drop dead gorgeous. Total hottie. So what exactly is she doing with the young master? She seems to know him much better than he realizes. She even knows who his classmates are, their names, and their servants. I'm guessing things will slowly be drawn out till the "GOTCHA!" moment is revealed, where it's revealed Lilith has a previously unknown close connection to the young master. Ah, well. I guess we shall just have to wait and see, eh?
