This book is for you if you teach any subject at any level to students of any age. If you think graphic novels are "just comics" Miller shows how they are much more and how to use them when studying literature, science, history, and even math. She also rebuts the pushback teachers may get from administrators, other teachers, and even themselves with solid arguments for how the graphic format can help promote critical thinking - which is what we all want our students to learn.
