DO DREAMS COME TRUE? Kirstin Magnusson is haunted by dreams of a fierce Viking warrior in a cage, being tortured and humiliated by his Saxon captors. Is it a fantasy, or a cry for help? But she’s a no-nonsense college professor, not a Navy SEAL like her brothers or a Norse fighting man, like her father once was. What can she do to help? Call on her academic training, of course, and form a plan....
WHAT ABOUT NIGHTMARES? Once called Hauk the Handsome, Hauk Thorsson is far from it these days, having lived in a filthy Saxon cage for over six months. All because he allowed grief over the death of his son to distract him. However, Hauk has a plan to escape soon and join the approaching army of Sweyn Forkbeard…until that lackbrain woman arrives and causes nothing but trouble.
BUT SOME DREAMS END HAPPILY EVER AFTER: All right, it depends on the definition of “ever after.” And mayhap it wasn’t the best idea for Hauk to kidnap Kirstin, but she’d said she needed time; so, he was just doing what she wanted, sort of.

A fun story involving time travel and a hunky Viking stuck in a cage in 1014. It's Sandra Hill's first Viking tale in quite a few years. There are lots of steamy romance scenes, heaps of silliness and tongue in cheek humour. It's nicely written and a bit of pure escapism. ❤
I love the Viking/SEALS series! I think I would have throttled him a couple of times but, thats just my opinion. I think it's kind of neat if you think about it. Like those rennisance (I can't spell) fairs. I love going to those. I bought a dagger at one of them, I love it. Kristin was was the most likely to survive back there after all those years in the future. She was the history buff always studying Viking history when they came forward. After everything she had told Hauk about how Vikings would disappear, I was a little surprised her dad & brothers let her stay there. I kind of thought they might come back & get her, Hauk & his son, & bring them forward. I kind of figured he would choose someone to be his heir. They might go forward, & if he wanted to he could join the military like her brothers. Another thought I had was if things got a little too modern for him, he could go live in her brother's Viking village & start a trade there. Just different things. It was a good book. I am always looking for another good Viking story. I love them!
I missed this series so much. It is fun laugh out loud fun.
Dr. Kirsten Magnusson keeps having dreams of a man in a cage every night.
“Is this your halfbrained scheme, dog lady? Will we consummate the marriage in my cage? Mayhap we can even have babies right here in this cozy little space.”
“Did you hit your head when we did that whirly dance through the sky and fell to the ground?”
And there you are like a bloody haunch of roast reindeer on a silver platter.”
Hauk the Handsome was captured six months ago. As a fierce Viking he is never going to live it down. Especially since a woman has come out of nowhere to rescue him.
How boring! Holy Thor! I am blathering in my head now, as bad as my wife with her running tongue.’
These time traveling Vikings are back for another great adventure.

Having been a Sandra Hill fan since early in her career, I'm so happy to see a new Viking story. I was over joyed to read what happens to Magnus Ericsson's family. The Very Viral Viking was my favorite novel about the Ericsson brother's. I loved the story of Kirsten and Hauk. It was sexy and one of those stories you don't want to put down. I love a novel that makes you want too insert yourself into the story. This was one of those types of novels. My thanks to Sandra for this enjoyable book. I look forward to obtaining more of her books.
I have read all the stories in this series and was glad the story featured several of the older characters within the storyline. While the story was good, I deducted a star as I felt there were too many sex scenes and after a while I just skimmed over them.
I started these books many, many years ago and loved them all. I was so excited when I discovered this boo 8 was not disappointed. If you like vikingd and time travel then you will love this.
Sandra Hill does it again. Her Vikings are so realistic, I believe she has seen a few. Very entertaining, laughter, swiving of course, and time travel. I have missed your books Sandra don’t stop! Love these Vikings.
It was so great to get back to the Vikings saga. Loved to see Kirstin get her story. I liked how both Kirstin and Hauk came together. Looking forward to more stories in this setting.
