The story so far...
After receiving a nocuous new code from Tower, which lets them trap someone inside the Hyper Scape indefinitely, Huo Shu and Basilisk are hell bent on using it to collect another Fragment—their target is Javi!

The duo track her down in a Crown Rush match just as she sets her eyes on the crown. As she grabs it, she glitches out! Javi comes to in the Kernel, the root of Hyper Scape, but Basilisk follows her there. He tries to reach into her avatar, searching for something, when silhouettes emerge from the digital landscape pleading with her not to let him take her Fragment. But who are these ghosts and what do they really want? When Javi escapes Basilisk’s claws and returns to the Hyper Scape, she discovers that her log off feature has been disabled! She calls her papito, Mondragon, for help—but will he get there in time?

Currently free to buy on Amazon, Hyper scape has returned. It is strange reading a tie-in to a computer game that I haven't played yet but it is enjoyable. These comics might be short but the story moves along quickly and seamlessly. It has a Tron feel to it and they seem to be building towards a trade paperback volume 1. 3 stars

Based off the Ubisoft game.

Company freebie. Suitable for teens and adults . Good color artwork. Detailed images throughout. The chapter is a little brief, would be nice to see the whole collection in one place when the run is concluded. The fragments can modify the underlying code of the game, It's like nuclear secrets getting loose during the cold war.
