Terra Mortis #12
Harassing Mitch
Spence Rodgers
Being bodyguarded by a gorgeous, enormous, slightly terrifying police officer might sound like fun and games, but there is a real live serial killer running around targeting blond haired, blue eyed boys… and I happen to be blond haired and blue eyed and a boy. With me not having a big strong mate of my own, my brother has pawned me off on the unflappable Mitch Arborrow. Like seriously, I can't flap him. But I sure love to try.
Mitch Arborrow
The beautiful bartender that I've been trying to figure out for a while now and failing completely is suddenly in my care and I honestly don't even know exactly how that happened, but now I've got to figure what to do with him… besides all the things I'm tempted to do with him. He needs me to keep him safe, but my beast keeps pushing me for more. I can't afford to be distracted while there is a serial killer on Terra Mortis, but the idea that his protection be left to anyone else makes my beast and me agitated enough to want to scoop him up and run. I'm going to have to figure it out, because the bodies keep piling up.
Warning: Mpreg elements! (Though the MCs in this book aren't and cannot get pregnant, this is a spin-off series from my Chosen series. Occasional Mpreg characters might have cameos. You've been warned!)
Also, my books have little to no angst, and lots and lots of fluff! They are better read in order, because I kind of write them like a continuation of a story, and I don't like to repeat explanations over and over if I can help it. No cheating, because that makes my heart hurt, and I try to avoid things that make me sad like I SHOULD be avoiding carbs. Sorry, I just don't want anyone being disappointed if they like the angst filled heart-rippers. These read more like a romantic comedy than a romantic drama.
Enjoy!! ::blowing you kisses::

Mitch and Spence made an adorable pair, especially when Spence was driving Mitch nuts (humorous) :). There was a serial killer on the loose so Mitch kept Spence protected as he was also fighting his strong attraction to him. The characters were enchanting and the plot was suspenseful. I totally enjoyed the humor and the heat. Exceptional read. =)

Delightful banter
I love the wit and snark that the harpies all have. And Leighton's book is bound to be delightful. With this book, I wish that we could have had more action and development of the plot, but Spence's antics and Mitch's stretched patience were still thoroughly enjoyable.

Brilliant
I really liked this book. I found it funny that not only were they flirting but their beasts were telling them they were mates but they both were fighting their feeling. I am just so glad they listened in the end

Spence ❤️ Mitch
The chemistry between these two & the oblivious attraction! 🔥 Their beast have been trying to tell them they were mates from the jump in Hansons book! I’m glad it doesn’t take them long to figure it out! Spence’s Dad is a hoot & I love how supportive he is of his children! Can’t wait to read his book next ❤️❤️😀😀

So funny
I really haven’t laughed so much at a book on KU in a while. I mean most of them that say they are funny, are usually trying too hard. Author is just hilarious. Can’t wait till next one

Terra Mortis - Mitch and Spence
These characters are so funny. A quick fun read. Spence's family is a riot. Mitch is protecting Spence and they discover they are mates. Spence and Hanson's father returns to live on Terra Mortis.

Adorable
Mitch and Spence were adorable. I laughed so much during this book. My favorite line was probably when Mitch went "What the f*** kind of snake purrs?"
I love Leighton's character and I'm so looking forward to reading his story.

Cute story
I loved the story of Spence and Mitch. It was cute to see them sniff around each other and the connection that grows between.
It was very sweet and I really liked how they finally came together.

Fantastic
This one starts out so humorous. I got in some good laughs, before things got serious, and it looks like they maybe zeroing in on the serial killer.

Another good one
Another good one, keeping the back story going. Another semi mystery. Kinda fun enjoyed Spence and his brother and father, looking forward for that one next!

Spence and Mitch
The Rodgers are funny people overly dramatic and can't seem to understand the basics. Watching Mitch and Spence figure out they are mates was fun

Another winner! I love Spence and his harpy. He is just hilarious and his dramatic self is just great. The best is the harpy motto: What's my is mine and what's yours is also mine :-D
The banter is just on spot. There are so many examples but I don't want to deprive you from the pleasure of reading them yourself :-)
" "I think I'm in love," Leighton said on a sigh, propping his chin in his hand and his elbow on the table.
"He's probably not into you," Spence said, reaching over to pat his father on the back. "I think he likes his bodies cold and breathing less."
"I can breathe less." "
" "I think… " Mitch paused, his eyes scanning my face. "I think you're my mate."
I smiled, nodding my head. "I think you're right."
"How did we not see this?" Mitch asked on a whisper. "This has been staring us in the face the entire time."
"Well, I'm not an investigator. I just tend bar." I smirked up in him, batting my eyelashes. "I don't know what your excuse is." "
