Only two stars
I approached these 3 books with an open mind. However, so much of Juliette is so ridiculous it defies belief. The author has written this young woman as some kind of super intellect, she’s studied calculus, quantum mechanics(!!!??) dead languages, all Romance languages, ballet etc etc etc. Plus she’s an expert in fashion, make up, deportment………and she drives super powerful sports cars and she’s just 21!!! come on this borders on the insane and barely avoids descending into the absurd.
I mean I’m all for a bit of fantasy, but seriously, this stretches my boundaries of belief to the snapping point. She’s so smart and and yet so stupid. She allows her life to be run by a bunch of men, one of whom has ‘purchased’ her as a young child and wants her groomed to be his perfect wife. Her father agrees and the ‘master’ is hired. Puleeeze. She obsesses over the invisible husband to be and allows herself to be publicly humiliated, gawked at, and generally treated like an object because this is how its supposed to be with the super rich? Yeah, you lost me there Raven Jayne. And to add further insult to the reading world, there are TEN books????!!! Holy mackerel. Raven should have written this series in 3 maybe 4 books and put the readers out their misery sooner.
There are so many disagreeable elements in this story its hard to narrow it down to a reasonable length for a review. But simply put, these books are rubbish. The ‘master’ is the most unappealing male character I’ve read in a long time. But Juliette is a disgrace. I’m thinking I should make this review a 1 star. But I’m giving it two for lack of spelling and grammar errors. Seriously, don’t waste your time on these if you have any sense of self worth. Juliette has none and frankly, I could care less.

This is not my idea of a "fun sexual adventure". To be fully controlled by men in the say so of everything that goes on in a girl's life, nope! So not a turn on. To be a "trophy" wife to some stranger she's never met but her so called husband to be wants her to have sex with strange men before he marries her? I don't see how that would be a turn on for any normal woman, unless of course you are a sick f*ck... so I guess I'll leave it like that. Ugh. I regret giving this one a chance. This is pure trash. Yes, my judgment is harsh. I've read MANY books that have more of a thrill than this. This is total book porn. No plot other than a woman who is being abused so she can get married and have no life of her own. You will not find a satisfactory ending and shame on me for even "thinking" this one might be interesting and one complete story. Duh on me. Off I go to find better adventures!

I'm still trying to cool off!
This book is H.O.T hot! It will have you squirming in your seat as you follow Juliette through her training. And praying for a cool breeze to ease the flames licking across your body as each lesson progresses. The Master will make you wish you were the student under the tutelage of each of Juliette's instructors and wanting to accel in each lesson to please him. I highly recommend having a fire hose or extinguisher nearby while reading this book.

Meh...
I almost stopped reading this book because it seemed like it wasn't going anywhere, but did finish it. I just can't relate to the main character at all and will not continue with this series. The premise is pretty outlandish, but I could get past that. The main character being so one-note, and not in a good way, then suddenly developing a backbone (but only halfway), not so much.

Absolutely EXCELLENT😁
Reading this, I think, what would it feel like to know you're bought and paid for from birth 🤔? That the One thing that you've kept precious, suddenly isn't worth anything to the man who you've kept it for 😕? What do you do now? And then suddenly you realize that YOU have worth, not just to a unknown man, but to yourself 😉? Thanks Raven, this is an amazing story and I can't wait to see what happens next 🤓.

Love the concept, hate the FMC, the steamy parts keep me coming back for more. I devoured this collection of three stories in about three days. The girl is pretty grating. And I’m not thrilled about the money and just how wealthy she is. It gets old pretty fast. But the men? Oh ya. They make it all better.

Do Not Bother
Yes, sorry, but when I realized how many more books there are to read, I couldn't take it any longer. The writing is juvenile. The whole of this book is just the 'h' (who is just as juvenile as the writing is,) doing nothing of note. Fantasy is wonderful but this went too far.

The entire series should be one book not a bunch of short reads. It’s truly disappointing. If you can do a three books in one you can do all 10 and make it an actual book instead 10 short teads

After reading the reviews I thought this was going to be sexy and erotic. It’s neither. It’s boring and drawn out. Nothing that gets you turned on or hot. It’s a contracted husband that wants his future wife to be experienced and like sex his way. Don’t think I’m going to continue

Drawn out
This book was intriguing until I realized how many books I had to read to get to the ending. Too long and drawn out, I lost interest. 10 books is quit a stretch.

This one was a curiosity inducing, what the heck happened kinda quick read.
Juliette has been trained to be the perfect wife to a mysterious man she's promised to.
She has been trained in etiquettes and various other things to be the perfect wife that she can be. But she has no idea who this mysterious man is for whom she has been preparing her entire life.
She comes from an extremely wealthy background and such unions are meant to strengthen their families alliances with other powerful families.
Everything is routine for Juliette until one day she gets a set of instructions meant to be from her future husband. Those instructions are that she will be trained and is expected to obey without a fault.
I was so confused yet curious just like Juliette as to what this meant and didn't understand much of it. Also initially I didn't understand much about the why and the what part of her training. But I was so intrigued as to who this master person was. What were his intentions.
So many questions, not to mention about who was this mysterious man who controlled Juliette from afar. But now this master was the one Juliette seemed to be obeying.
I'm hanging onto this ride so tighly and excitedly to find out what would happen next. Loved loved this one. 💖💖💖💖💖

Whew!!!! Another lesson, another test is all planned for Juliette. But this time it might not be as easy as she would have thought it would be initially.
Juliette is introduced to a French painter, Antoine, who is a very in demand painter for his clients. She thinks this will be done quickly but when she sees the type of work he does. She is not sure she will be able to it.
The painter is downright dirty and paints very intimate and baring paintings of his client's muses. His process involves literally getting into all her intimate personal business. But Juliette is doubtful, uneasy as this all is very confusing to her.
Honestly, at times I was irked thinking why she was been made to go through the things she did, even though she liked it, I was not in favour of her being treated like toy.
But then I was also feeling conflicted just like Juliette, as to my feelings of still being super curious and wanting to find out the real purpose behind her lessons and wanting to meet her mystery man.
This book was downright filthy and a progress in Juliette's journey of intimacy. But also Jane, her friend and Bruce are totally giving competition in raising the heat levels for sure.
Conflictingly loved this one. 👻😍😍

We are getting ahead in exploring. Ahem.. More explicitly the many facets of exploring more of one's wild side as we see Juliette experiencing newer stuff.
Oh my.. One thing is for sure this ride is getting spicier, messier and all the more confusing yet delectable with each book as we progress. Loved this one. 🔥💋💖💖

Master Class is a box set of three novellas that are filled of an arranged marriage, erotic and kinky lessons. There are ten lessons that need to learned so there will be ten novellas to be released. These are the first three lessons that are taught and there are much more to come.
Obey- Book 1 (lesson 1): We meet Juliette who lives a prestigious life, which has allowed her to receive a plethora of studies that she excels at. All these studies are to prepare her for her husband that she has been arranged to marry. From languages to colors to history Juliette knows it all and is more than ready to marry her husband, or so she thinks. All her studies didn't prepare her to meet her Master, who her husband, who she has not met yet, sends to truly prepare her for him. She has done ballet for a few years but when she meets her new instructor there is a twist to her lessons.
Tempt- Book 2 (lesson 2): Juliette's lessons continue when she is sent to a famous painter to study under. Her Master has to teach her a lesson when he hears that she is constantly challenging her tutor and is on the path to failing. We see how her Master deals with it and the turn her tutor takes in order for her to pass her lesson.

With these books being novellas or short stories everything goes by quickly. I finished this book and immediately wanted to read the next to see what Juliette's next lesson will be. It is refreshing to see a woman so in touch with her sexuality and wanting to explore more for not just a man's sake, but also for hers. She is well educated and when something she isn't fond of occurs she makes her voice heard. There are a lot of steamy scenes throughout the books that you should prepare yourself for. Can't wait for the next book to continue with Juliette's lessons and to learn who her husband is!

Master Class- The First Three Lessons by Raven Jayne is made up of her debut novella series. This is a highly erotic, kinky, and intriguing view into a modern take on arranged marriage. Novellas are meant to be read in order. Ten lessons to be taught and learned. Each lesson is at the request of her future husband. Master Class is a series of short serial novels. I believe the author is planning on 10 short books and so far, the first 3 are released and she has combined them into a box set.
OBEY – In book 1, we meet Juliette who has excelled in everything she has studied and is ready to embark on her arranged marriage, but she learns that her future husband who she has never met wants her to take one more series of classes before their wedding. In this book she meets the master who is to ensure she is trained to her future husbands’ specifications.
TEMPT – In book 2, Juliette’s journey continues when she is painted by a famous artist. She continues to be challenged by the lesson she is to learn and when it is apparent she is failing, her Master has a lesson for her.
TAKE – In book 3, she is confronted with her v card and that it is not a prize her husband wants, but will she be able to learn the lesson he wants her to learn? Will she be able to keep her feelings for her Master out of the way?

Her first challenge is obeying, where her teacher Vlad, is a ballet master and will show how to meet the expectations of obeying a master. Her second teacher, Antoine the painter will show her the art of temptation through touch and patience. Her third teacher Jackson will show her the art of taking her pleasure and feeling strong about her wants. This journey is erotic and sexually charged from the start and with her friend Jane by her side, they will both help each other. I can't wait to read about the rest of this special journey of discovery.
