Time is running out for Trinity Benoit. She must get married to claim her grandfather’s legacy. In her family’s social circle, any man interested in her is only after the inheritance. Not to mention, those men aren’t her type.
Always attracted to bad boys, Roman Sanchez steals Trinity’s attention the day she lays eyes on him.
Nothing goes to plan when she approaches Roman with her proposal. She’s playing with fire, but to win Roman’s heart, she’s willing to take her chances.
As the pyrotechnic expert for the Riot MC Biloxi chapter, Roman defends his brotherhood against any threats. He’s no stranger to bar brawls or street fights. Yet, he faces an epic battle against a woman who could send him to prison.
To protect himself and his club, he agrees to marry her. It isn’t until after they say, ‘I do,’ that Roman discovers there’s more to his wife than blackmail and extortion. If Roman isn’t careful, he may find himself committed to something bigger (and possibly even better) than the Riot MC brotherhood.
Will Roman desert Trinity as soon as he’s fulfilled their bargain? Or will he find himself one of the ‘mighty’ who fall prey to love’s force?
Karen Renee is the author of the Riot Motorcycle Club, Beta, and O-Town series of books. She once crunched Nielsen ratings data but these days she brings her imagination to life by writing books. She has wanted to be a writer since she was very young, but it’s taken the last twenty plus years for her to amass enough courage and overall life experience to bring that dream to life. Some of those life experiences came from the wonderful world of advertising, banking, and local television media research. She is a proud wife and mother, and a Jacksonville native. When she’s not at the soccer field or cooking, you can find her at her local library, the grocery store, in her car jamming out to some tunes, or hibernating while she writes and/or reads books.
Trinity must marry to get her grandfather’s inheritance but she doesn’t want the guys just after her for the money. She likes bad boys…Guys like Roman who is a member of the Riot MC Biloxi Chapter and she just happens to be a neighbor to his mother. He’s the one she picks to blackmail to marry her to meet her grandfather’s stipulation and he doesn’t like it one bit. Roman is rough on his new wife until things get real. Now he wants to keep her alive.
I loved this book on Roman and Trinity with the chemistry, blackmailing and secrets. This couple had me rooting for them throughout. I love this author’s work and can’t wait to read more of her work.
Trinity absolutely gutted me with her selflessness, her love for others, and her willingness to break her own heart to appease others. I think she might be my favorite woman so far in this MC, and that’s saying something. She’s strong and able to manipulate for the greater good, even if that means she’s resented and trampled on for a bit. And the funny thing is that no matter how much Roman wants to simply hate her, he can’t. Heck, he can’t bring himself to let anyone else hurt her, even while he knows he’s hurting her himself. But Trinity has a way of getting under Roman’s skin and into his heart so adeptly that he didn’t even realize what that feeling was until it was possibly too late. Can he convince her that this is real, and to forgive his past games?
I’ve loved this series since jump, and Roman’s tale of hate to love with Trinity is no exception. In fact, their story brought so much to the table that I may make them the standard I compare other books to. Yes, it’s that good. Blackmail, some danger, angst, sadness, happiness, secrets that come out and make it all better or worse before better again, and a love that just won’t quit all make for a read you need to dive into. You won’t be disappointed.
It really took me a while to like the couple in this one. Roman was an ass from the start and rightfully so with Trinity blackmailing him. I feel like she could have found a better way to approach him and ask for what she needed. I feel like I should have liked Trinity more, but with how she blackmailed Roman it was hard. Sure other than that she was a good person, but that whole situation was a hot mess. By the end of the book I was glad that things worked out, glad that Trinity could do what her grandfather wanted, but also glad to be done with this book.
Romance War is the third book in the Roit MC Biloxi series. I have read the books from Karen Renee's Riot MC series, and this is the first book from this one that I have read. I loved reading and following Roman and Trinity's love to hate romance. I will definitely going back to read book one and two, and look forward more from this author.
Another terrific addition to this thrilling MC series. Just enough grit to hold with the MC life of crime, brotherhood, club girls, and hard love. This one is about a hard won love when blackmail is the catalyst for Trinity to get what she wants. She starts with her family's legacy but the real reason is the sexy biker, Roman. He's a dream of hard muscles, pretty eyes, and swagger for days. Plus his mother is one of Rin's closest friends. Her relationship with Roman's mother was a heart warming part of the story as well as her fabulous friendship with her bestie, Olivia. Rin's blackmail has her at odds with the club and especially with Tiny not to mention Roman's response to her demands. It's a slow build to love but the romance hits steamy as soon as the marriage license is recorded. Hot, hot, hot! There's danger and intrigue not only with Rin's awful family intent on taking her inheritance away from her but also Roman's enemies. The club rides to the rescue and saves the day. But does the girl get her man? The romance was passionate and sexy but the suspense didn't have the same intensity of the previous stories. And it didn't reveal the story behind Roman's road name. Ugh, it's the small things! I like this group of brothers and there were glimpses of brothers and ole ladies from other chapters. The setup for the next story with the cynical Cynic looks like a heart twister with a face from the past. Also, it looks like Olivia will get a story in the future too. But will her love be the police detective that is the club's nemesis or brother, Tiny. Can't wait!
A secret crush. He'd never be interested. And then...she not only wanted him but needed him. Needed a husband to fulfill a will and save her family's business.
He'd never really noticed her. He didn't connect with women. They were good for one thing and one time. When she presented her "offer" he said no until he saw the proof. It became club business and another brother. He had to make it work. A marriage in name only until he could get rid of the proof.
In name only? What was it about this woman who got to him? Her trouble became his.
Can they find a life together or will he follow through with his plans? Will the steam between them overcome the issues? She's a rich one or so he thought. Her actions and lifestyle made him question his first impression.
I Love the characters and how their differences don't seem so big as they spend time together. Will the dangers of their enemies keep them apart? A love story with an unusual couple, steam, conflicts galore. Enjoy finding their future together or... Reviewed for Words Turn Me On Reviewed for Words Turn me On
Trinity is normally a big hearted girl who wouldn't ever think about blackmailing anyone, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. She's the neighbor of Roman, and she's had eyes for him since she first saw him but he never even saw her until she totally lost her mind & blackmailed him to marry her because she needs a groom to keep her beloved grandfather's company. He's so mean to her, and man she just rolls with it all despite the fact that he's hot & cold all over the place. He agrees to marry her, but it's only to get the video evidence she has but he can't help but be drawn to her. They have serious chemistry so it's not long before they're acting on it, but Roman still has some issues with the hot & cold routine. I swear to all that's holy, it should have been apparent when Trinity didn't go crazy after learning that he got the video that she's no criminal mastermind but what do I know?! LOL! The heat is fantastic, there's humor in spades, and the twist definitely took off so all in all, another perfect read by this amazing author that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
"Everything about you does something to me. Surprises me, intrigues me, enrages me, or drives me crazy... sometimes you do all that to me in a single conversation." Karen Renee's latest Riot MC novel may be her best yet. Roman, a member of the Riot MC is being blackmailed into marriage by Trinity, his mother's neighbor. While that may sound straightforward, it is anything but. Trinity is the person we all strive to be - honest, loyal, dependable, loving, altruistic person who accidently stumbles upon a situation which she reluctantly uses to her advantage. Roman is a good guy, a serial bachelor with a strong protective instinct who doesn't like to have his options taken away. As Shakespeare once said, the path to true love never did run smooth, and the journey of Trinity and Roman definitely isn't an easy one. There is the obvious blackmail, but also family secrets, sexual assault, kidnapping, and lots of chemistry in this story. This book gave me Kristen Ashley vibes. I've read it twice already and know it will be on my reread list whenever I need a MC love story fix.
Trinity & Roman story is a complex one. Their story is not straight forward because Trinity wants access to her grandfather’s money but there are conditions. The people in her life and the company are full of people that not afraid to stab you in the back. Roman was not happy about it and he celebrated with her when she won the battles...no spoilers
Now I want to read the other books. I feel like am missing out on more of the story because the Roit MC seems to be full of loyal men and a great Prez. I want to learn more about them & their MC family. That's why I love MCs it's about the family and each ones story. This one has million heroine who wants to help a certain neighbour...no spoilers All the characters are wonderful in this book and the romance is the perfect pace too 😍
WOW! I've volunteered to review this for United Indie Book Blog. This author is new to me. Roman's War is the third book in the Riot MC Biloxi series. This is Roman and Trinity's story. Trinity lives next door to Roman’s mom. Roman is a member of the Riot MC, who being blackmailed. I absolutely loved how Trinity made Roman's life, mind, and heart spin. Trinity has a heart of gold always putting others first. Roman tries to hate her but can’t. I loved the chemistry between them, blackmailing and secrets. They had me rooting for them throughout. Couldn’t put it down. I for sure will be going back to read book one and two and look forward more from this author. I laughed, I cried, and I didn't want their story to end. Review by: Jennifer (5 Stars) The third of the Riot MC Biloxi series and these stories are just getting better! Trinity inserts herself into a situation and ends up in a worse position than what she had intended. Everything she has done has been in part for someone else, but the way she goes about this makes her public enemy number one in Roman's eyes and therefore in the club’s eyes. There are two choices for Roman, do things her way or get rid of her. What way will he go? I am in love with this series and these just keep getting better and better. Roman and Trinity's story was truly a work of art and I give this 5 stars.
Trinity was a kick in the pants. I loved her fighting spirit as well as her vulnerability. She had the strength to take on her family and go for the one guy that made her drool. Roman was quite a jerk to her from the beginning, but I enjoyed his fall as he began to realize that she actually meant something to him. He gave into her more than he truly wanted to. With danger lurking around her, he became protective and possessive. I really enjoyed this story, including the main and secondary characters.
I received a copy of this book through Enticing Journey Boo Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
With time running out to her the terms of her grandfather's will Trinity finds herself in a situation that will work to her benefit. When push comes to shove she goes about her blackmail idea all wrong. Roman has no choice, but agree. I loved going on this journey with them as they go from something fake to something real. I laughed, I cried and I didn't want their story to end.
My goodness what a read. Trinity has to make some tough decisions and those decisions just might get her killed. Roman doesn’t know what to think of this woman at all. She is itching for trouble and he has to find away to keep her alive. Excellent writing with a storyline you will not forget❤️❤️❤️
Trinity is the most selfless person you will meet. She has a heart of gold always putting others first. Roman tries to hate her but can’t. When he realizes what his feelings are, Can he convince Trinity to give him a chance or is it to late. Trinity is probably my favorite of this series so far. This is definitely a page turner.
I so enjoyed this story. Inheritance family issues, unrequited love, marriage under duress, MC family angst, and all while a romance blossoms. Loved getting glimpses of MC characters from book 1 and 2. Highly recommend series and this book. Only thing better would be if an audible was available. No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA.
Wow. What an amazing story. It had everything from angst to revelations. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Roman and Trinity together, they didn't get together in a conventional way. It was explosive from beginning. They go through alot because how they get together. But love prevails all.

This may just be my favourite Riot book , enemies to lovers, damsel in distress, numerous feisty females, all the boys being usual sexy selves and 2 mamas at opposite ends of the parenting scales. Chuck in toxic relatives, a scumbag or 3 and muy caliente pasión and you have the ingredients for hot AF read
This book was amazing. Roman and Trinity had tension and attraction from the beginning but as time went on it became so much more. I will be honest I fell in love with the cover but the story took my heart. Truly a good book.
I stirred honey into my green tea, not meeting Marie’s eyes. When I’d moved into the apartment next door four months ago, she’d introduced herself and we’d become fast friends.
It has taken me a while to read through the Riot Biloxi series, I don't know if I'm just savoring the flavor or what🤔 I love Ms Karen and her storytelling! She's a very talented writer😘 I've already bought Blocks road, so I can't wait to get to it!

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Trinity is stuck and Roman is her answer but at what consequence. I absolutely loved Trinity and how she made Roman's life, mind and heart spin. I love the way Karen Renee weaves a story and this MC characters are incredible; they are loyal, loving, strong, brutal and brothers. This is one book I will revisit again and again. Incredible story that I couldn't put down.
This is the third book in the series and it can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the other books due to the overlapping storylines. We meet Roman in the first two books so I was anxious to read his story.
Roman is part of the Biloxi Riot MC. He is profession is pyrotechnics, hence his nickname, but his club specialty is setting fires. He is all alpha male and while he has now watched two of his brothers fall in love…that won’t be him.
Trinity comes from money, but she has tried to live as normal a life as possible. Her parents love her, but they were not the loving type. They were more interested in appearances and that is not her. She got all of her love from her grandfather. She lives on her own in an apartment while she is finishing her MBA. When she moved in she quickly befriended her older neighbor Marie and their relationship is something she cherishes.
Trinity finds herself in a major bind and the only person she knows can help her is Marie’s son Roman. Problem is, he doesn’t know she exists and she needs a husband stat. A little manipulation can’t hurt right?
This storyline is interesting and for the most part stays that way throughout the book. I don’t want to give too much away to spoil anything, but this was my least favorite of the series so far. Roman was a jerk for most of the story and that was tough for me. Yes, Trinity’s manipulation warranted it, but still. It made it hard to get to know them as a couple because you could not tell what was fake or real. Of course in the end it works out, but getting there was slow…
I enjoyed the relationship between Marie and Trinity the most. They had a true bond. It took me a bit to pull for Roman and Trinity as a couple. This story had slimy family members, touched on dealing with abuse, good characters, steamy sexy time and an overall ok story. I was disappointed only because the first two books really made me love these characters. I was left wanting a bit more from this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a great read. Ms. Renee has given us a well written storyline with wonderful characters you’ll want to love, hate, and occasionally scream at, but most of all you’ll just want to tag along and enjoy their story. It has lots of twists and turns but trust me it’s so worth tagging along.
Trinity lives next door to Roman’s mom. They have become very close and their companionship is very heartwarming. It’s through his mom that Trinity meets and learns about Roman (not that Roman really knows who Trinity is, as he never even looks her way or speaks to her when he stops over to visit his mom). But Trinity sure knows who he is and her attraction to him is deep. So deep she concocts a plan to get Roman to marry her. You see, she has to marry to keep her grandfather’s legacy in tack. But like all concocted plans, Trinity’s goes terribly wrong. So wrong she ends up blackmailing Roman and in turn his brothers in the Riot MC. Big Mistake!
The book is suspenseful, exciting and romantic with occasional laughs thrown in. I smiled, laughed, wanted to cry and I have to admit on occasion I wanted to bop Roman and Trinity in the head and scream for them to get it together. But most of all I honestly say I loved every single page. I highly recommend grabbing up Roman’s War (and the other Riot MC, Biloxi Chapter Books) and enjoying the ride.
This is the third book in this impressive series, and this is Roman and Trinity’s journey. Trinity has a huge heart, and she is selfless with putting everyone before herself, but time is running out as she must get married to claim her grandfather’s legacy. When Trinity comes across a situation, which she uses it to her advantage. Trinity is neighbours with Roman’s mother, and she is drawn to bad boys, which is why she choses Roman to blackmail to marry her, which he is not happy about. These two have a hate / love relationship going on, and the chemistry between them is undeniable. This is a well written story which is filled with suspense, angst, family, emotions, secrets, intrigue, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I always highly recommend.
Trinity comes from a well-off family, her grandfather founded the family business and the children and grandchildren are reaping the benefits. Her grandfather recently passed away and has left the running of the business to Trinity IF she marries. There are plenty of men willing to help her out, but she wants no part of anyone them. She knows they only want the business, not her. Her next door neighbor has a son, Roman, who would be perfect, but getting his attention has been impossible until one night she records him committing a crime. She feels this is her shot to get what she needs. After all, Extortion is the best way to start a marriage.
What a thrilling ride. I have enjoyed Karen Renee’s books for quite some time and this latest one is no exception. Her men are take charge alpha men and her women are strong, know what they females. 4 stars.
Trinity was such a great character. I loved how she was so helpful to everyone and so understanding. Also fisty and strong she is my best character ever so far. I think she could have found a better way to convince Roman to marry her. I thought Roman was an ass but, in the end, he changed his attitude.
I enjoyed this one a lot, even thought felt like the chemistry was a bit rushed. I loved that Trinity saw Roman & didn’t disregard him because of his skin color. I love reading books about Fellow Hispanic/Mexican characters. Can’t wait to read the next book!
