I’ve lived in the small town of Sunrise Bay, Alaska my entire adult life. I have a successful business, great friends, and a community I feel a part of. I never felt like I was missing… well, anything.
Until the day Craig walks into my coffee shop, The Grind. Then he jogs by my coffee shop—shirtless. That was when I knew I was in trouble. Not only was he a nice guy but he also had a killer body—a by-product of his job as a trainer to MMA fighters I guess.
When he asks me out I’m flattered, but the man is almost ten years my junior and only a temporary resident of this town. But flattery gets you everywhere as they say and in this case it got him into my bed.
It’s all fun between us until I start to wonder if we could possibly make this last?
Piper Rayne is a USA Today Bestselling author duo. Our goal is to bring you romance stories that have "Heartwarming Humor With a Side of Sizzle" (okay...you caught us, that's our tagline). A little about us... We both have kindle’s full of one-clickable books. We're both married to husbands who drive us to drink. We're both chauffeurs to our kids. Most of all, we love hot heroes and quirky heroines that make us laugh, and we hope you do, too.
This was a very quick read that I wish was longer. I loved seeing Zoe, owner of The Grind Coffee Shop, get her HEA with the younger MMA trainer, Craig. Their story takes place over a couple of months but there is an instant connection I would even call it an instalove story. It was steamy and fun but way too short for me, I would have loved more from them but heck I’m thrilled they even got their own story. If you have read My Vegas Groom you’re going to want to read this. You can also find the audiobook on the Read Me Romance Podcast
they're so cute! zoe found her love in this small alaskan town with logan's MMA coach. craig was supposed to only train logan for a while and now he's a convert because he fell in love. adorable~
5 Sweet Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Loved this quick novella featured on Read Me Romance. It was so easy.. just pulled it up on my Spotify and instant access. The story of Craig and Zoe was cute and sweet with a little sizzle!
Zoe works at the Grind and is happy with her life in Alaska. When the new MMA trainer, Craig, begins to pay attention to Zoe she is shcoked due to their almost 10 year age gap.
But with training fighters in Vegas is Craig ready to hang it all up for a chance in Alaska?
This is a great quick read with Zoe and Craig. These are two relatively minor characters in the series but there insta-love is very sweet!
I really liked both of these characters but I really would have liked more on the beginning of their relationship. The book goes from a great first date to a month later with Craig spending all of his nights at Zoe's. I felt there was no relationship buildup so it turned into a insta-love kind of book.
I was super happy with how the story went and the end of the book!
Hopefully we get more of these two in future books!
Freebie from author's website. I listened to the hour long audio. It's only an hour long, so there is only so much relationship development that can be expected. This listen was short and sweet. Is it deep? No. But it's a cute little story to listen to on a lunch break. If you like romance, listen to this between longer books for a palette cleanser. I'm giving this four stars because I am comparing it to other short romance reads. I can't rate this on the same criteria I rate full-length novels, so I am not going to deduct stars for character or relationship development. I deducted a star for their boat date, just because I felt like their dialogue could have been better.
If you read My Vegas Groom you must have wondered, like I did, when we’d hear from Craig and Zoe because it was definitely happening. Lucky the ladies didn’t make us wait too long and I for one loved it. Deliciously short and sexy, the story tells how Craig comes into town to sweep Zoe off her feet. The man knows what he wants and certainly is ready to put the work and get it and despite all her hesitations, Zoe loves it all once she gives in. I highly recommend you go listen to it and if you’re not a fan of audio, give it a try. Honestly, it’s worth popping that cherry!
My first audiobook. Must say not sure what to think about a female narration of the hero... 🤔 This was a short novella and a great add if you read the third book in the Green Family series, My Vegas Groom. This book is about coffee shop owner Zoe, who we read a bit about in the previous books, and Logan’s trainer Craig. We don’t get to know much about him, which is a shame. This book is mostly based on lust IMO, but with a HEA. Not sure when and why they fell in love though (if they even did?). I think it was just too short for me to be totally engrossed with it. 2,5 stars.
Title: Brewed Love Author: Piper Rayne Format: audio Narrator: Molly Stark Genre: Romance, Small Town, Sports, MMA, Age Gap, Fling to forever Standalone: yes Part of a Series: The Greene Family #3.25 POV: Zoe Steam Level: Slow burn 4/5
Brew Love is a cute small town, MMA romance. Zoe is older but takes a chance with Craig who Sean MMA trainer. This book seems like it coughs be Pat of a series but I’m not sure if it is. I’m not sure if I’ve read Piper Rayne before but I definitely own several of their books. I listened to this audiobook book on the Read Me Romance podcast.
❤️This is a short novel (to shoort, but perfect 🤩), part of The Green Family series, following the 3 book My Vegas Groom❤️
If you would like to read something short, but still cute, romantic this is a good choice. I loved it when there is a story for older characters too, reverse age gap, that love can blossom even after 40 and 50 years, and if people are brave enough and give it a chance they can find their HEA. It was short story but had everything what a good story needs.
This was a clever way to divert and add more fun to the Greene family saga. Zoe, owner of the coffee shop, "The Grind" and Logan's trainer, Craig develop a sweet romance. I loved it. It was a short story that gave more of an insight on the small town of Sunrise Bay, Alaska. I enjoyed their love story. Now, I know when they are mentioned in the next books how their romance began. Loved it. So clever to incorporate some of the town's people and their stories as well as the Greene family.
This is a cute little novella featuring the story of Craig and Zoe. They are an older couple 45-55 age range. I wish there was more relationship development for the reader to experience them falling for each other. We see their first date and then we jump to a month later. It was a good story, but I would have liked more.
This Sunrise Bay Alaska novella is awesome. Zoe owns The Grind coffee shop and Craig is a trainer for MMA fighters. And the story begins. The characters are well developed and loveable. I love all the details in the book. I received this ARC, for an honest review. I truly enjoyed reading this book.
Loved this super sweet and quick novella about Zoe and Craig. If you have read The Greene's, then you know who both these characters are. Craig is the super hot trainer for Logan and he sets his sites on Zoe who owns the coffee shop. She is a little older than Craig and this bothers her but Craig shows her its not an issue. The chemistry is off the charts hot.
I listened to this on the RMR podcast and I really enjoyed it.
I haven't read any other book in this series but it was easy to understand and follow along since it was a stand alone.
Craig and Zoe had chemistry right from the start. I loved that Craig was a man who went after what he wanted and wasn't afraid to have the tough conversations to ease some of Zoe's fears.
This is the story of Zoey and Craig getting together. I liked this novella, it was such a sweet romance. I've been dying for a Greene Family fix, imagine my excitement when I found this audio in my bookfunnel library. I wish Sunrise Bay really existed I'd move there in a heartbeat. Now I really miss the family but at least a new book will be out soon.
Was able to find the audiobook read by Molly Stark, on Spotify on the Read me Romance podcast. The hosts are annoying, so just keep tapping forward to skip over them until the you hear Molly Stark's voice. The audiobook is split into 2 installments.
I'm enjoying this series, and I love the idea that Zoe from the coffee Grinder has snatched a younger guy.
I love the Novellas in this series and this one was amazing. We met Zoe early on in this series and i was so happy she got her HEA. I love an alpha male and Craig was everything we thought he'd be after meeting him in Nikki & Logan's book. I loved how romantic he was and how the Greene kids saw Zoe as a second mum i loved that!!
I am so glad piper Rayne decided to give us this story of Craig and Zoey! If you read the Vegas groom with Logan and Nikki then you definitely want this story ! I was able to listen to it on the read me romance podcast and it was so good!!
If you enjoyed Nikki and Logans story, you will definitely like this one. I love the short stories that are about the side characters. I was really hoping that we would know more about Zoey and Craig so I was excited to see this become a thing.
A later in life romance, with a she's older age gap. I can't get enough of Sunrise Bay, Zoe and Craig's low stakes (basically insta love) was a nice little behind the scenes of the mentions of their blooming romance we read about in "My Vegas Groom"
