to give a general opinion on the series, this was a nice read but nothing truly extraordinary.
The plot often felt too stretched out and I got bored throughout the middle of the series, then suddenly at the end of volume 8 a sudden apparition of a completely new character changes everything and allows the story to finally find an ending -which was a good ending but felt a little bit too forced.
So many characters appeared throughout the series but in the end, they didn't get a proper resolution.
The romance was sweet but got developed so quickly that everything felt pretty resolved by volume 3 -therefore the need to create new characters and side plots which in the end didn't get a real resolution.
In the end, I would globally recommend the series for a nice read, but it will not stick to your mind or leave a big impression.
