Thank you to my friend Whit (and I think Whit got her rec from Taima! (Taima has the best recs)) because she just knows me. She started reading and messaged me that this book would be perfect for me. IM DOWN BAD FOR A GUY WHO TAKES CARES OF A BABY OKAY?! And Antron is all about taking care of both Toy and little Joia. It's adorable??? He is basically a stranger in the beginning and stays all night long with her and gets her Waffle House because she's craving something from there. And then! He shows pictures of the baby to his friends a few days later and he shows them like Joia is his own AND YOU BET IM SWOONING RIGHT ABOUT THAT POINT.
There are a lot of other cute moments and swoony ones too: Antron getting Joia strapped to his chest so he can go do his business deals, Nitoya having lunch with him at his office like they're already dating and this is what they always do, Antron always calling Joia "his baby", and many more. They're so mean to be! I loved their relationship so very much and you bet I'm going to be reading part two because that ending *shock* Oh things are about to go down!!!

Chillleee, Boss is nothing to play with! I love that his character has lays. He has a street aura with a heart of gold. I loved that He stepped right in and took on a role he didn’t have to. It’s Definitely Step Daddy season out here! Antron is everything a girl could ask for and more. Toy didn’t have much support so I love to see her gaining genuine people in her life. I can’t wait for part 2! Bae ain’t playing no games when it comes to what’s his ❤️🥰

Wooow, Queen Unique did her thang with this installment. This is my first read by this beauty and she did not disappoint. I ain't gonna I'm pissed about it ending on a cliffhanger, like WTF.
Corey was a trifling f'boy! I hate ninjas like him that just be out here moving send grooving like they ain't got while families at home. Then to go through all he want through to get her to move just to ghost her😔🤡. Then she out with her girl and they see you with your wife and she pregnant too😳😡😔. Then to go almost 3 months no calls, text, etc. Then he pop up like shit was sweet, yeah Antron needed to beat the breaks of him like be did👊🏾🙌🏾🤷🏽.
Toy thought she finally got it right in the love department but looks are definitely deceiving and that damn Corey was a wil wolf in sheep's clothing. Like most of us she ignored those red flags that was telling her he wasn't who he was presenting himself to be. It's sad it took her relocating and uprooting her life for her to find out the truth😔.
Antron was her angel, God knew what he was doing, lol. He showed up and showed after she ran intro his car but from the moment he realized she was pregnant ain't none of that matter. He was in daddy mode from jump and everything he told her he was gonna do he did and then done. Even when she was blowing him off, he still showed up at the NICU to spend time with her baby😍. He ain't care what nobody had to say Joie was his baby and he was proud of his new role. When they went away for that tasting, I was hoping she'd finally stop reading and give that fine ass man the😼🤷🏽🤣. Marcus was giving her hell while he out pitching his best life but son as he met Antron he changed that tune real quick. They was moving and grooving as a family unit, enjoying life. But when that f'boy call himself popping up without calling first and during booty call hours like he got it like that, yeah he deserved that ass whooping, IDGAF🤣🤣🤣. He better be glad lil baby started crying cause that's the only thing that saved his life.

Whew if this wasn’t a page turner, I would be tailing a story. The big boss man himself, Antron, is the man!! I can’t even come up with enough words to describe him but he is legit. Antron and Nitoya met during a car accident and she went into labor. I knew from that scene that Antron was going to be around. The way he protected her and the baby, even going as far as checking on the baby in the nicu. They don’t make them like that anymore, lol. 😩🙌🏾I adored the way that they built a circle of trust and then gradually formed into what they became. The flirting didn’t bother me because I could see their chemistry coming a mile away. This book was so good!! I am so excited for book 2. Awesome job!

FIVE MF STARS FOR MY BABY ANTRON THE MF BOSS!!! Perioddddd!! Omg, I change my mind because THIS book is now my favorite in the series. Baby when I say YOU DID THAT? I unequivocally mean it. I knew Antron was a real boss but the way that he carried this story and showed another side of him that had we weak in the knees??? Baby I’m shooketh.. He is a true compassionate gangsta. I know I say this all the time but I mean it this time LOL! He is a lawyer by day and at night? Well you get it, he is Boss. He has in hand in deep in the illegal world. Antron and Toy had an unconventional meeting but as soon as boss dropped her of to that hospital, Baby he was all in and NEVER let up. The way he stepped in for Toy and her baby is heartwarming. He really appointed himself as Toy’s Superman and he took his job serious. The way he cared and protected her and her baby, oh I lost it. He spoke life into her. I mean the man wrote positive aspirations on her mirror for her. I mean hello!!!!! I don’t even want to speak on Toy’s trifling baby daddy because he ain’t important. Just know he ain’t shit and that’s that. I enjoyed the development of their relationship. We saw them go from friends to lovers and it was cute. This story did it for me because it showed a single mother with two baby daddies down in her luck and still worthy enough for the love of a good man. I love that for Toy and I love that message. This book wasn’t full of long and descriptive sex scenes but I couldn’t put it down. Tron held me captive and i didn’t want to let go. Like when he said “ you want me to kill him?” i orgasmed a little. Dammit he is JUST that commanding. I’m rambling and i don’t even care I LOVED THIS BOOK. I don’t care i don’t care. Okay, I do care that it ends in a cliffhanger but since the other book is already out, imma chill LOL

Single mom Nitoya (Toy) is in a long-distance relationship Corey and moves to Atlanta to be closer to him, after she becomes pregnant with his child. Shortly after moving, she finds out that Corey isn’t person she thought he was, & bumps into/ becomes friends with Antron aka Boss. Not only is Boss a highly sought-after Defense Attorney, he also has a secret life in the streets and plays no games…AT ALL. Needless to say Boss and Toy’s friendship eventually turns into a relationship and it’s possibly one of my favorite love stories ever! The book is a romance (obviously) but it also showed the importance of having a strong support system and healthy friendships.
I loved Toy and Boss for each other. Even though his ass was extremely bossy (hence his name) Toy was not a doormat. They really balanced one another. More than anything else, I loved how Boss LOVED Toy’s girls, but his love for Joia melted my heart. From the moment Joia was born, she became Boss’s baby and Boss was firm in his decision to care for the girls even if him and Toy didn’t work out.

Real emotions and tight writing
Boss is a man in every sense of the word and his ability to take care of those he loves is a roadmap to building family and community. Toy’s judgement was off and she definitely made poor decisions but overall was a good woman. Two baby daddies and unmarried isn’t a good look for anyone’s children. However she and Boss were made for one another and in real life she probably wouldn’t have the ability to keep a man like Boss due to her insecurity and thinking she can do everything alone. But this is a book and it was an enthralling read. I loved how the book brought back the other characters and gave us a glimpse of how they’re doing. A must read.

Nitoya ran into her knight in shining armor(literally). Pru needs to go and sit her thirsty tail down somewhere. Priest, all I can do is shake my head at that fool. He's going to have Blessing acting just like him. I figured that Corey was the inspector they had to see to get their building. I bet he's going to be on some crap in book 2 trying to halt them from getting their permits. With his old married tied tail! Part 2 me please and thank you!!!!!!

She might well have call Genesis, Mielle and all the rest of the them because she knows she messed up. They got to find Genesis a man when ever they figure out their situation. Ok how could you do me like that lol! I was not anticipating a cliff when I started this book or else I would have waited for the complete series before I started it. Beside that my heart goes to Antron, yep the real deal he is and don't mess around either and love that about his character. Also another hiccup I have with a lot of authors, please have your book proofread because beside the usual slang I am very sensitive and irritated with spelling mistakes. Cannot wait for the finale ... when is it coming out Unique?

This Book was an Excellent Read. There was not a boring page In this book. It had a lot of Black Love displayed in it and romance. I love Antron aka Boss he is truly an Alpha Male and he is just what the doctor ordered Nitoya. I love how you keep all the couples in twined in each other lives. The couples camaraderie is awesome. Man this cliffhanger makes you wonder what will happened to Nitoya and Antron. I can’t wait to read part 9…

Love catching up on past characters and Priest is still a fool...I can't wait for next part I feel like Corey is going to major problems for Boss when it comes to the new lounge he is building Because of I remembercorrecrly he works for the FDA...and thats who priest was suppose to be reaching out to...and Little Ms. EX-Wife..ooh I see a a** whooping coming in the near future...

He is the type of dude that can make you disappeare and get off on it. But I have a feeling that he is going to try and stop the bar from opening because of his job title. Man its about to be a lot of smoke and I can't wait.

Boss Effect!
This was my first read from this writer and I have to say a girl is hooked! The writer gives us a funny sexy look at the beginnings of a friendship and the awakening of a relationship. I like the fact the main characters are not being adult about their relationship but about what they want and expect. This makes them and the story so much more believable. This was a very fun read and attention grabbing and keeping.

So I found this series and saw it had 8 parts.... I just knew it was complete!!!!Noooo I was wrong, now I'm mad because now I have to wait for the next part. Hate waiting on the net book to come out cause it takes too long and I will either forget about it or not remember what happened!!!! UGH. Having said that, I love the series. That dang Priest is something else love that character. Boss is a Boss! Keep up the good work. I love a well written book.

Boss is aptly named, but he’s twisted in his mind because he keeps “souvenirs” from when he has to deal with people LOL!
Toy got so much baggage it’s more than the airport IJS. She’s passive sometimes and all the signs about Corey was right there and she refused to connect the dots. Corey wrong in so many levels SMH.

Good ish!!!
I loved this!! NiToya been through things.. Corey definitely wasn't is! Had her move from the comforts of her own home where she knew no one.... Just to do her dirty... Where she met Genesis, who turns out to be her best friend... Then she meets Antron who changes her whole outlook on life... Good ish!!!

Loved it
I loved this story I laughed and laughed so much but it was worth it I can’t wait for part 2. I hope that Antron and Nitoya can continue to work through things and she doesn’t hold anything over his head for beating Corey up because he definitely deserved that beating for doing that to Toy though

True Love I love how a good man like Antron would do anything to help a woman in need and never stop being there for and get to know each other an fell in love with each other

All I can say is Boss is the man. He step up and make sure everyone is good. Is about time for him to find some happiness. He stepped up and help out with the lil baby. He gonna be a great dad if they just leave him alone. I hope he get in touch with the crew so they could help him out. I'm hoping part two come out soon.
