Taylor writes an emotional story that deals with many mental health issues. She does an amazing job of not glorifying or just making mention of it but actually giving details on the mindset and feelings of Ryan and Amber.

Amber has been waiting for Ryan to come back to her from his contract in the military. She has been withdrawn and hiding in a dark place that nobody has been able to help her get out of. Her family has basically stopped talking to her however, she also has not made any attempts to reach out. Cece has tried but has failed. She is waiting for Ryan to come home and spend the rest of her life with the man she loves. Will she be able to get out of this dark place she is in? Will Ryan be able to help her or will he be in his own dark place?

Ryan is finally home and out of the military. He has PSTSD, which is understandable considering what has happened to him. He proposes to Amber his first night home but things are not good. They are both keeping secrets that are breaking one another's hearts. They are both in a dark place, suffering from mental health issues. He tries to help Amber and he thinks he is helping but then everything falls off the rails. The secrets he has been keeping go back 5 years and Cece, his sister, and Amber find out that he has been confiding in Ace, Cece's husband and his best friend.

They do get married but life throws them a curve and Amber closes off even more. She is closing in on herself and no matter what Ryan or anyone else tries nothing helps. Amber needs Ryan and Ryan needs Amber but she is shutting him out. Things take a turn for the worst but somehow Ryan saves her. Will they ever have their happily ever after? Will Amber ever come out of her dark place?

Taylor had me in tears as I read this story. Her writing, with all the descriptions and details, has you feeling and living what all the characters felt and lived. You are riding the emotional rollercoaster with Ryan, Amber, Cece and Ace. When a book has you so engrossed in the story you know that it is an outstanding book. For me, this book hit a little close to home and for that, it will have a place in my heart. Thank you Taylor for this amazing story.

Only You by Taylor Jade is the second, standalone book in the Loving You Series but it is best if you read the first book in the series prior to reading this book. The road to happily ever after isn’t always straightforward or easy. Amber has been waiting for her boyfriend Ryan to get back from his tour of duty. Six years is a long time, Amber is not the woman Ryan once knew, and neither is Ryan the man who departed six years ago. Both have faced struggles in their time apart and their only hope is once they come together things will be better; however, things don’t always work out as planned. Only You is Amber and Ryan’s journey to their happily ever after; join them as they navigate relationship and mental health struggles in this quick, emotional read.

Taylor Jade has written an emotional and romantic story that gives light to many important issues. Only You touches on the topics of mental issues, miscarriages, relationships, and marriage struggles. Amber and Ryan both have their own mental struggles. Amber has panic attacks and insecurities which caused her to retreat into herself while Ryan was away. Ryan came back with PTSD traumatized by what he saw while he was away. These struggles don’t magically get resolved. Taylor Jade shows how those with mental health struggles attempt to deal with these issues and regain a sense of normality. She also addresses how relationships require constant work and effort.

As you progress with the book Amber’s mental health struggles reemerge in relation to the unfortunate loss of her child. Once again Taylor Jade has addressed an important topic with the utmost care. Her writing flows eloquently as she conveys Amber and Taylor’s emotions at every point of their relationship. Only You is a beautifully written, emotional, heartbreaking romance guaranteed to make you feel all the emotions. I absolutely enjoyed this novel and I’m glad these characters got the ending they deserve.

Taylor Jade has done it again with her second installment in the Loving You series!

This book kept me hooked from beginning to end, and it had my heart weeping more than once as I followed Amber and Ryan on their heartbreaking tale through the struggles of a long distance relationship, of the military, the struggles of marriage, and the heartbreaking reality of losing a child.

This book will tear at your heart, but yet still leave you wanting more. Taylor Jade did an AMAZING job with this book, and I can't wait to read more in this series!

Ryan is the Ultimate Book Boyfriend

Happiness and Tragedy. I one-clicked this book the minute I saw it. After reading Nobody But You by Taylor Jade, I knew this was going to be an amazing read and I was right! I got sucked right into the story that I actually felt the emotion of Ryan and Amber and everything they went through. There is no greater love than a man who NEVER gives up and keeps you wanting more.

One of my favorite things to read is multiple POVs and the “how are they now” in a book and Taylor blended in CeCe and Ace’s story beautifully but not too much to take away from Ryan and Amber. I can not wait to see what Taylor has next in line for us.

thank god it’s a short book because i wouldn’t have been able to read a full length book of this.

the main female character is actually unbearable. she’s just horrible to everyone and thinks nothing is wrong with it.

she just yells at him and everyone all the time and being completely selfish, then has a panic attack and suddenly she’s not such a bitch? no thanks lol

she has a panic attack because he didn’t tell her traumatic things he saw within the first few days of being home, then begs him to help her yet screams that he can’t touch her because he can’t be trusted? like give him a break

Second book in the series, can be read as a stand alone, but fits best as a sequel. This HEA follows Ryan and Amber through the ups and downs of young love, military driven time apart and tragedy to find their HEA. This short story shows them grow and learn to lean on each other. There are some elements that may be triggering to some dealing with military service, separation and miscarriage.

This book is also really good and being that It’s about Celine’s brother and her best friend, it still includes Celine and Ace.
