Cassie has finally grown up, and Alex is on his way back to Cali from college to celebrate with his girl. He’s surprised when he gets there to realize that she’s been hiding things from him during their daily phone calls. He whisks her away to the island where they first professed their love for each other while back on the mainland; Mandy’s been wreaking havoc from her jail cell. Now the guys are scrambling to come up with ways to deal with her, never suspecting that help will come from somewhere unexpected.
I liked the story of little Cassie and Alex. However there was confusion because there were two different spellings for Shane - Shane and Shayne.
Also there was the comment from Shane (Eden High Jace's friend) that "Shane and I are the only two who don’t share a name with anyone else. " This isn't true because there is also Shane Flanagan from The Spitfire series. It would've been less confusing if Ms. Silver didn't double up on names.
Alex has been waiting for the day that Cassie comes of age. He knows she is it for him, but he wanted her to finish school before sweeping her out of her home and into his life permanently. The only problem is that someone is threatening Cassie and with Mandy behind bars, Alex needs the team to help him out.
I need to go back and finish off the Eden High series because I felt I missed the whole Cassie Alex introduction and how they meet. A lot of the stories intersect with different characters and plot lines. I am looking forward to see where Lyons daughter story goes, she is one of my favorites. I liked and probably will reread after I go back and finish Eden High.
I had hoped that Jace was going to take over the world since he made such a big deal about it when he announced his engagement but the different route they took, I wasn't really happy about. Too many new people, too much stuff to wrap my mind around.
So this is Cassie’s and Alex’s story, this is a bit of a mix of characters from the majority of her other books, it helps to have read most of them otherwise it may get a little confusing but you need to have at least read the Eden High books. Mancini, Lyon, mouth and a few others make an appearance in this book and it looks like I missed reading The Squad as it alludes to something in this book I’ve obviously missed by not reading it. The reason I have given this four and not five stars as if I’d been aware there was a bit of a cliffhanger at the end as we need to rejoin the gang in the squad 2 then I’d have waited until that came out first as I hate waiting for sequels so I usually wait until it’s out then binge watch/read whatever it is. We already met Cassie and Alex in Eden High the finale but this continues on from that as they r a few years older and now Alex can date her. I feel there was still a lot of unanswered questions like it just had it’s end cut off, I know I’ll end up rereading it a few times
This book was awesome! So glad Cassie and Alex finally have their story. I felt that their characters weren't written enough Eden high series so I'm happy it was all about their love.
Cassie and Alex's is so different from rest of the gang bc their's were the only one that was snail moving bc of Cassie being younger then Alex. So he literally just waitied out till she became of age to finally get intimate. Only other characters they were like is Todd and Caitlin (Colt Lyon's daughter).
So glad Mandy is dead and Mouth killed her. I love Mouth..she's so bad ass. I Definitely cannot wait till The Squad 2 comes out. I'm hoping more is explained about Catalina since in Squad 1 Char makes a comment about Catalina and now in this story she knew Jace needed an alibi before Mandy was killed.
I'm assuming more crossover characters will come in Squad 2 book since there's a character in Squad 1 mentioned and also in this one. So I will read those books that those characters are from before Squad 2 is released. I cannot wait for Squad 2!!! And I cannot wait to hear about Alex and Cassie's wedding as well as Todd and Caitlin!
So happy Alex and Cassie can finally be fully together and now will get their happy ending.

It took me five days to get through this story because it was such crap. I felt like I was reading a cult book or hippies because the MMC kept along the lines of “we”, as in the MMC the FMC and six+ other people in this relationship. It was ridiculously unrealistic. Not only that I don’t feel any of the drama was actually resolved. The FMC parents weren’t settled satisfactorily for me. And lastly, it’s not over.
This author had the nerve to drag out this casts stories in a serial, made this couple’s story completely pointless, and seems to have combined this series with another series and now this cast is supposed to been in a spin-off book from the squad part two which isn’t out yet or have a release date. Why?? This Eden high group was terrible. I was being tortured reading this drivel. And I paid for this. Ugh. Good luck.
Now that Jace, Sian and their crew have been living it up at college and helping Lyon's Crew, along with the Seals and Mancini, it's time for Alex to claim Cassie. Cassie was younger than the rest of them and Alex had to wait for her to turn eighteen before he could come get her from her parents and claim her as his. While he's been gone, his girl has been keeping secrets from him in regards to threatening notes she's been receiving that could destroy her family. She's pretty sure the notes are coming from Mandy, even if the b@#ch is in jail. Can Alex and the guys take care of the Mandy situation once and for all? Or will she keep becoming a bigger problem as the time passes? This is a great read and I highly recommend it!
Wow, author Jordan Silver did exactly what she always do, capture my interest all the way. This book has you laughing nonstop, it's one of those feel good books that also make you feel good about yourself. Alex is sweet and alpha, very protective of Cassie, their love is sweet and will soon become more. It's also great to see the old gang back together and I can't wait to find out what other shenanigans the gang would come up with, thank you author Jordan Silver, this book is well worth it everyone💫💫💫
I usually love Jordan Silver books but this one was a little juvenile. I found it a little creepy all the Beauty & The Beast obsession/ nonsense mixed with all the sex. I had to give this 2 stars because the ridiculousness of a sexually active engaged 16 year olds obsession with a Disney character. Jordan Silver made Cassie’s character sexually active, she should have portrayed her to be more mature than that. I mean really (eye roll). That was just too much and too creepy!!
This was a great read and I always enjoy Jordan’s books. However, I’m wondering when will this all end? I feel like I’ve been waiting on an end for years now. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy reading these stories and now they all intertwine but it’s becoming some what boring with no end in sight.
Forever later....she's finally gone. Whatever happens from this moment forth....at least that wench is gone!!!! I'm honestly not even sure how I felt about Cassie and Alex. I didn't get alot from them and I can't stop remembering her as Coke bottle glasses and braces.
This is a sequel to the Eden High Series by Jordan Silver.
Welcome back to the glamorous and exciting world of Jace Saunders, his wife Sian, and their friends who are more like family; Track & Valerie, Shayne & Tammy, Jared & Belle ( Jared is Sian’s brother), and Alex.
Alex has been feeling like the odd man out as the only one of his friends without a wife or fiancée. He’s been patiently waiting for Cassie to turn eighteen before he can move her from her parent’s house.
Mandy is still in prison but that hasn’t stopped her from making trouble and using someone on the outside to do her bidding. Cassie has been receiving anonymous letters about what happened that night at Mandy’s house. She’s terrified that something will happen to her mom or dad and the weight of the secret is killing her.
Alex loves Cassie and he wants her away from her toxic parents with him where he can protect her and where she’ll be surrounded by people who love her.
Will Mandy be taken care of for good this time before she can do anymore damage ?
If you have read all of the Lyon and Seal series by this author, I suspect that this book is more enjoyable, but I haven't, and I found the addition of these characters and their suggested back story a little distracting. Also, the whole prison scene seemed greatly implausible and vague. Still, I would keep on with the series.
This is actually interconnected with Jordan's SEALs, Lyon, Mancini, etc. series. Best read after The Squad Book 1. Loose ends from Eden High nicely tied up. The majority of the book is focused on Alex and Cassie's story. As always, there's plenty of laughs, steam, and intrigue.
Wonderful love story for Alex and Cassie. Great to read about the Eden High gang again. Even Mandy! Lol! Hope this isn't the end for them. Loved these books
I liked getting Alex and Cassie’s story. Once more Jordan tracks multiple strong characters to weave the story. You get to catch up with this group, see Lyon starting to step into the overall group leader, and read some on Catalina and her friends.
I was needing my fix from these nuts ! Eden High was one of my favorite top three series ever . Can't wait for more !! I can't give a proper review without giving away too much story . I love all things Mama Butterfly( Jordan Silver ) !!
This wasn’t my favorite of her books. It honestly dragged , plus I didn’t realize everyone one be in this book. Too much was happening. MAYBE I’ll come back and finish but not right now.
I mean if you haven't read this series then you've obviously been living under a rock. The gang is all complete and what a fun and sexy read. Jordan Silver is the best at giving good stories.
So... I’m a little confused about this book, it had all the normal characters but it felt like an in between book. The hotness level I am use to was definitely calmed way down... I did enjoy seeing the other characters from eden high . Read on KU
I’ve been waiting for Alex & Cassie’s story! So happy to see them together finally - everyone together finally! And all these series connecting so completely- just wow. It’s like one giant puzzle all snapping together.
I always hate when it's over.😭😭😭! Another best seller in my book, but am now anxiously awaiting the arrival of the best character by far the gambler Jenna will teach the women shit that will make the guys lose the last little bit of sanity lol I can't wait!!!!!!😂
I SWEAR ALEX AND CASSISY ,THE LOVE THEY GAVE ABOUT EAGH OTHER, AKL THRVJUYSVRUN FROM MEN .....LOLOL IS FUNNY THE GIRL SUN THESE GIRL'S ARE CRAZY AND BAD AS HELLN AND UP TO TROUBLE
I love this whole crew. Like how they are a little older and Sian and Jace have kids. Finally Cassie and Alex has their own book. I want to read more on all their life's with them getting older. Must read book
It was a sweet tempting story of a shy girl and a very bold boy. I really very loved it. I just wanted a little Epilogue but i guess that's not possible with The Squad going on. But I hope we get to read their point of view on that.
Any time I get a Colton, Mancini, and Mengle in a book I'm here for it. The only reason I shorted a star was because I didn't get enough of them. As far as the main story goes it was entertaining as always.
I am so loving all of the books, and how they are all molding together. I am so happy for Cassie she got everything she deserved. I am also glad we got to learn more about Alex. A must read.
This was a good ending for the guys evil villain. I’m glad that we saw all of them happy carefree. I really do like Mouth she is my fav character because of her no bs way about her.
