I was required to read this book for class, but it immediately took my interest when I started reading. Carolyn's work is great at capturing all the perspectives of the hearing and deaf worlds and brings up hard topics not commonly discussed. I really appreciated this book bringing me more awareness, and I will definitely reread it in the future.
