Nice twist to this series, or rather a different setting 👌. This time, the story takes place in a prison - with a slice of forbidden attraction, danger, and drama; it was very entertaining.

Revenge on the Inside
Stone Face is out to revenge his sister’s death without putting his club in the line of fire. He wants to go to jail to get the person who killed his sister and while there he meets Delilah who is the free spirit woman who brings dogs to the jail for rehabilitation therapy. Who would have ever thought this big man with all those tattoos would have a soft spot?!
This book was fast paced with plenty of steam, action and surprises and anytime the authors of Geri Glenn and Avelyn Paige get together to write MC books, there are none better.

I was laughing as the last book ended. Stone Face felt the need to be in jail, so he went about that in a spectacular way. The whole point of him getting in jail was to kill the guy who killed his twin 18 years ago, vengeance would be his. While in jail he turned his back on the club, thought they were better off without him, ended up being the protector to a guy who needed one and ended up partnered with the most girly of girly dogs possible. The dog was an ends to a mean to get closer to the guy, but it also brought added benefits of Delilah, who ran the program and how he became interested in.
As the stay in jail became longer Stone Face realized the club wouldn't let him ignore them and he ended up taking care of some lingering business. He also fell for Delilah and the fru fru dog. It was fun to see the big tough guy with Penny and how he treated her and how much she thrived on the attention. Stone Face even talked to Delilah about what he was really doing in jail, which led her to looking at what happened with his sister, sort of sending her down a rabbit hole.
Things got dicey towards the end, Delilah was in danger, then saved by an unlikely person, Stone Face had to come clean with the club, face the actions that landed him in jail. It was great that everything ended on a good note and Stone Face and Delilah were together, with Penny by their side.

Dark Destiny is the fifth book in the Black Hoods MC and this story was utterly captivating and consuming. Stoneface and Delilah meet under different circumstances however when chemistry lights up between them and a connection draws these two together, a plan for revenge may just have to be changed. Their story is action packed, seriously sexy and one that at times will have you overwhelmed by emotions. It is gritty, passionate, witty and has you on the edge of your seat as these two ride a rocky path to freedom and happiness.

Dark Destiny by Avelyn Paige & Geri Glenn is book 5 in the Black Hoods MC Series. this is the story of Delilah and Stone Face. I haven't yet read the other books, so for me this was a standalone book. Stone Face is out to revenge his sister and when the killer gets move to other prison he goes to get in that prison to kill the man. What he didn't figure on was that he would meet Delilah who helps in a dog shelter but has been bring dogs to the prison to help prisoners program. Stone Face tries to resist her quirky self but he can't seem to do so. Enjoyed their story.

I love this series. My only complaint is that its so far apart.
It was a quick read. I love that action happens from the start all the way to the end.
Stoneface (yes that’s his name lol) got himself arrested so he can go to jail (I know nuts right) reason… He has business to take care of on the inside. And he would do anything to finish that business. But his doing it on his own with no help from his club. Mistake… His family was not going to leave him alone. The plan was easy. Get in, take care of business and do his time. But things always get complicated. Meeting someone that needs his help, then also meeting a woman that changed his life 😊
Fast action paced story. Loved it. Story was filled with different characters and so many different personalities of some good guys who are in prison and some bad guys who you should be glad are in jail. All in all another winner with his series 😊 I cant wait for the next one

What can I say but this is exactly what I expect from Avelyn Paige and Geri Glenn. This book picks up where the last book left off. So it shouldn’t be read as a standalone to fully appreciate the story. In this book we learn more about what makes Stoneface tick and why he’s the way he is. He meets Delilah and there are sparks flying for both. I highly recommend this book. My only complaint was I didn’t want the book to end. Lol.

Dark Destiny (Black Hood MC #5) by Avelyn Paige and Geri Glen. This story opens up with Stone Face getting himself arrested for stealing a cop car, being intoxicated and leading the police on a slow speed chase. Absolutely comical. However his reasoning for wanting to get arrested are not. He wants to kill someone in the county jail that did something to someone he loves. Finding out what happened and to who and why is part of the story. Not wanting any blow back on the MC he initially has decided not to accept their visits or their help. Delilah is a good hearted person who runs the town animal rescue shelter. She also runs a program at the county jail where she meets Stone Face. The attraction between Stone Face and Delilah is instantaneous. Seeing an almost 7 foot bald guy caring for a small dog is not only comical but cute. Stone Face's intentions joining the animal program was to get close to his mark however he didn't plan on falling for Delilah and he definitely didn't expect her to fall for him. I can say that I read this story in no time. The story was over before I knew it. Of course other members of the MC were in this story. Nice to see familiar faces. Stone Face and Delilah's story was not only cute but comical with a strong dose of seriousness. I really enjoyed their journey. I especially liked Buddy and would love to see more of him. The end of the book was a segway to the next book in the series. I look forward to where these 2 authors will take the next story. 4 stars for me.

Rhett "Stoneface" is seeking revenge and it's finally in his grasp and the only thing stopping him is a beautiful "flower child". I have loved all the stories in this series but especially this one. It was full adventure, drama, hot scenes and most of all family. Family isn't the one you are always borned with but with the family you find along the road you travel. I truly love all the men and women in this series but what a breath of fresh air was Delilah and not only for Stoneface but for Buddy as well. I truly hope Buddy is in future books. Highly recommended but be warned this is a dark read in places but it is handled so well by these amazing authors.

He didn't know his plan would involve an adorable little Yorkshire Terrier or a woman with a heart of gold for animals and a program to give some inmates a furry buddy to help rehabilitate them. How could both break through his stony heart? The heart that broke when one of the inmates took his sister's life.
The club, a special inmate, and more characters that will steal your heart or those you can't wait to see them get their just payment. It's a great story with unusual lovers and some paybacks those who have read the series will be in line to cheer. I recommend both this story and the rest of the series. Great reads for MC fans and those new to the genre.

The authors have done it again and brought another wonderful story. I just love Stone Face and Delilah’s story.
I loved Delilah’s sense of humor, passion, and caring attitude. It spoke a lot of her character. The chemistry between Stone Face and Delilah was out of the park and I also just loved Delilah’s parents. Though I do wish there was more in the story concerning them. They were truly a hoot.
This story has some much and you will not be disappointed. You get to go on the journey of Stone Face learning a very important lesson and Delilah being there for him every step of the way.
So happy I got to read the story and look forward to other books by these authors

StoneFace deliberately puts himself into a position to be arrested. Ending up in the local jail is exactly where he wants to be to ensure his justice can be dealt out😉 However, he soon befriends a couple guys and is enrolled in an animal program within the jail where he meets Delilah😍
A great story that had me laughing out loud but also a few sad teary parts that broke my heart💔 I can’t wait to see what more trouble this group gets into❣️I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

This series is an excellent series and is most enjoyable when you read each book as one flows into the other.

I enjoyed Dark Destiny, it was a great story, the plot was strong, it was written well, the story was packed with several emotions, Avelyn Paige and Geri Glenn did a great job on this book. Stone Face and Delilah were strong characters, their journey was a bit of a rollercoaster, they had their ups and downs but these two were truly meant for each other, the connection they had was strong, it drew them together, they completed each other, they were good together.
This was a great story, I'd suggest reading it.

This 5th installment in the Black Hoods MC was great! The story was action packed and had me riveted from the start. I love seeing all of the characters again and see how life is treating them all. This is StoneFace and Delilah's story. He purposely gets himself put into jail to avenge his sisters death and Delilah has a program for inmates working with animals. These two meet and sparks fly, they are a perfect match. They both have much to overcome to get their happily ever after. This was a fantastic book!!!

Wow, this book was everything I wanted and more. I always wondered about Stone Face especially at end of last book. And I was shocked and wowed. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Stone Face and Delilah together, they have a weird dynamic because of how they meet. Stone Face is intent on one thing, but throw in Delilah and Penny and his perspective is changed. Delilah works hard and doesn't have time for relationships but these two can't fight their attraction. Delilah helps Stone Face find perspective on his life.
I can't wait for more.

Dark Destiny has all the feels. I laughed till I cried, I shed tears for Stoneface aka Rhett as his story was revealed. Flower Child aka Delilah was his saving grace when he was on a road to self distruction. I loved these two together. From beginning to end I couldn't put this book down. I highly recommended it, but start at the beginning with Dark Protector I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to read Twatknot's story and see what craziness he gets himself into!

What a great read. Loved the story, loved seeing the tough Delilah take on big bad Stoneface.
The connection between the 2 was great, not overly rushed. Loved seeing Judge and the boys showing their loyalty.

What a great story. Stoneface has some unfinished business to take care of and gets himself sent to Jail. Delilah is an overworked dog rescuer who's assistant decides to quit making her have to take over her dog handler program at the local prison again. Angry Stonefaced man meets caring stubborn woman who is trying to avoid a pyschopath

It’s been a while since I gave a book 5 stars and wished I could give it more. This is the first book that made me outwardly cry, laugh, and want to shirk every one of my responsibilities. I finished this thing in no time flat.

This book was amazing. The series just keeps getting better with each book. StoneFace and Delilah are an amazing couple and the story flowed beautifully from one chapter to the next. I can’t wait for the next book!

Good addition
This book is a good addition to the series. It is less MC involved and more about learning life lessons. There was some completions to previous books too. I wish that there was more of the story on the main characters after they finally got together.

Great addition to this series. Loved the main couple and enjoyed the story immensely I couldn't put it down. I wanted to know Stonefaces back story I knew it would be rough but wow what a punch in the gut. I dont want to spoil anything so I'll just say I loved him and his flower child and am very excited for the next book in this fantastic series.

I've been waiting for this ever since the epilogue of the previous book made me laugh so much. Stoneface, man on a mission to serve his own brand of justice. Delilah owns an animal shelter and runs a inmate program and the new inmate joins, an unlikely couple that totally works
