Hellbent Hero is book three of the Knights Legion MC Series. This is a second chance, MC romance. Be aware there are some triggers in this story. This book could be read as a standalone but I recommend starting at the beginning of the series so you have a better understanding of the main characters, as well as the supporting ones. This is Hero and Tara's journey.

I tend to have mixed emotions when it comes to this series. Hero and Tara were not what I had expected, well mostly Tara. There were some great elements; unpredictable, haunted pasts, angst, jealousy, good supporting characters, a little drama, some action. There was realistic and/or relatable topics such as self harm, abuse, addictions, mental health, grief, ETC. I found that there were a lot of cheesey moments. Like the whole God talk thing was a little odd in my opinion.

I found Tara to be scary in a nutty kind of way. I understand she had past trauma but it was kind of borderline psycho with her behavior. And then Hero was way more emotional then I would have imagined. He's the SAA, I figured he'd be way more of a hardass. He is super alpha though and these two have a steamy sex life to say the least.

I am REALLY wanting Dodge and Emilee's story, but I think it's safe to say with the ending of this book that Boxers book is next, especially after reading the title of book four. I think the ending was meant to be a little cliffy as who the heroine will be next, but I feel that it was predictable....if my guess is correct. Time will tell!

Such a totally awesome book - we got tons of backstory, I felt so bad with everything that happened to Tara, and Hero too. She really had issues, just when I thought she would drive Hero away, and he would go - he showed her what true love he had for her. It was wonderful - they saved each other from a sad past, it was so emotional. So glad she found the MC family and that she had Maddy.

I'm need some explanation on that weird tattoo girl that did Tara's tattoo. got some vibes there.... also, I guess we'll find out more about the Canadian request in the next book?

Oh WOW! I am not sure I want to say too much so I will say this...This series gets better and better with every book! Miss Porter brings the viciousness and the love within her story. Her world building is spot on and her imagery of her world is bold and engaging! I love this MC and am looking forward to more from her! Come meet the Men and women that these men love within the Knights Legion! You will be entranced and enveloped within this story, meeting some of these characters you will be swooned and grabbed in the most delicious ways possible! Come on grab any of her books and see what I am clamoring on about! You will happily, willingly give yourself over to her and see what I say is true!

Ever since the teaser we got in the previous book I have been looking forward to Hero and Tara's story. These two are perfect for one another but the journey is not a pretty one. Hero is the dark and broody SAA of the Knight's Legion MC...his past has left him scarred, broken, and full of guilt. Tara is the spunky friend of Maddy's who is also scarred and broken from her past. They get together and sparks fly...but their story is also full of heartache, mostly from Hero continually pushing Tara away thinking she is better off without him. You can literally feel her heartbreak...it jumps off the pages and grabs you and you want to strangle Hero. When Hero wises up and realizes he loves Tara and is ready to make a go of it will she be able to forgive him? This story is full of emotions, drama, action, and will keep your attention throughout it.

Fantastic! This is the third book in the Knights Legion MC series, and it definitely did not disappoint. I love the interplay between characters, making them seem almost lifelike. The story has so many twists and turns that it definitely kept me guessing as to what would happen next. I love Hero and Tara. Hero is a strong man, and he’s been through hell in his life. Tara is a feisty redhead and best friend of Maddy, known from the previous two books. When these two meet, sparks will fly and disaster is never far away. It is important to note that the series needs to be read in order. I’m absolutely following this fantastic series and amazing author!

Ok you need to prepare yourself for all the feels with this book. We get two MC's who are both a tiny bit broken, and a whole lot bad a$$!
We have met Hero in the previous 2 books. we get a glimpse at the dark and broody SAA Of the Knight's Legion MC. In this book you will get his full background, and you will understand what makes him so dark and mysterious. We have also met Tara in the previous books. She is the fiery red headed best friend to Maddy. I loved her character she tells it like it is and is not afraid to speak her mind. As with Hero Tara's past is also filled with heartache. If there were ever two people who deserve a HEA it is definitely these two.
Naomi is a new to me author, but she does a great job at writing a story you fall into. You will love her characters, and you will find yourself screaming for more!

So, first off this story needs to have books one and two read prior to diving into this one. This does deal with a different couple, but the events from the first two stories roll right into this story. After all the drama from Storm and Maddison, the last thing I was expecting was what we get with Tara and Hero. This was DEEP! As in, potential trigger warning type of deep. Maddison's story did have some serious issues but nothing compared to what Tara has gone through. This was such a roller coaster ride, and I held on till the very last word. This was such a good read, full of drama, danger, violence, hot naughty moments, and a few bits of heartbreak. I give this 5 stars.

The third book in the Knights Legion MC series was sooo good! This is a series spin off standalone following Hero & Tara.

I love this world and this MC! Naomi has told the story of an MC perfectly and I can’t get enough of it! All the guys are just swoon worthy and I love how tough the female characters are too!

Hero is the SAA of the club and he’s a very tormented, broken man. You find out more about his past his in this book and understand more why he’s the way he is. The love he felt for his Roja was a joy to read. I loved their relationship so much and how he treated her.

Tara was sooo heartbreakingly broken! You definitely don’t know the extent of it in the first two books but you learn about her past and her trauma in this. It was actually a really tough read to see how she felt inside and it broke my heart! She was unbelievably strong to come through what she did and I loved her development during this!

Their relationship was just perfect for them. It bought the best out in both of them and allowed their past wounds to heal. I adored it.

I am loving this series and already can’t wait for book 4 following Boxer! Naomi has a way of leaving little clues as to the next story and getting you excited!

She had a hero

Tara went through so much has a child and adult. Self hurting herself so she did not have to deal with her emotions then came Hero also damaged from the loss of his wife and child.

With determination Hero would show Tara she is never aline again. Love is everything.
Fir the cliffhanger I'm thinking it's the girl Hero saw from his meeting or it's the girl pregnant with his brother's child .

This couple were made for each other, both with major demons, so now they can give each other strength to make it through each day. My heart broke for both when we learn about their pasts.
Unfortunately for me I didn't enjoy this book as much as the others, the heat was turned right up and the suspense seemed to almost be an after thought, blink and you'd miss it. Which is a shame as the storyline intrigued me.
I know many who'll enjoy though and I'm looking forward to the next book after that ending.

Hero and Tara/Roja

First thing to do is get a box of tissues ready because this book pulled on my heartstrings and definitely took me on a quite an emotional rollercoaster ride. Hero and Tara have both suffered so much in the past.

Ms. Porter sure knows how to pull out all the stops on her books. This book gave me everything from dealing with addictions, heartbreak and plenty of heat. Now I can’t wait to get on to their next book!!

Naomi Porter is definitely going on my list of favorite new to me authors. Hellbent Hero is book three in the Knight's Legion MC and tells the story of Hero and Tara. If you ever have issues with dark romances, then I would heed any warnings you read. That being said, I absolutely love them and I loved this read.
This book essentially checked all of my boxes for a great story. My emotions need to be drawn out and the author definitely nailed it. My heart hurt for everything that not only Tara went through in the past including Hero. Both of them know what emotional pain is and how much it can try to wreck your life and affect every decision you make. They were perfect for each other because they understood each other, eventually. There are mentions of self-harm, abuse and addiction. Despite their issues, they are both bad to the bone.
Hero is the Sergeant-at-Arms for the MC. When Hero winds up in jail, he pushes her away which breaks her heart. I love when he came to his senses and did what he could to win her back. Their chemistry was intense and scorching. I certainly needed a cold shower afterwards.
Tara or "Roja" made my heart break the most but she was incredibly strong and I admired that quality. There were things about her that I was easily able to relate to.
Overall, this book was well written. All of the characters were well developed and fit just right in an MC romance. The MC was realistic. There was action but not so much that it took away from the story at the heart of the book. I really love stories that keep my attention and not skipping pages. I will say that you should read the first two books first to understand the overall story ARC but you can read it as a standalone though you may not understand some elements. I am really looking forward to the next book, Brutal Boxer.

I really enjoyed the story of Hero and Tara. There was a lot of pain in Tara's past that I found it easy to relate to. She's not sure if she can move on from her pain and she's not sure if Hero is really gonna be there for her. Their wild ride is one to enjoy every step of the way.

Do you know that author that can get your heart after just one book?
Well, I've experienced it with this gall. Not only did she captured my heart but my soul as well.
Just after one book, Naomi Porter caught my attention in the best way possible.
Her writing is raw and wild, sweet and intense with a touch of hotness and darkness.
Have you read her MC series? You haven't? Oh boy, you don't know what you're missing.
Hellbent Hero is her latest release and it's the third book from the Knight's Legion MC series.
But I need to say something. Despite the fact that this book is standalone, I advise you to read the first two books, and only then grab this one. You won't regret it.
This book explores the lives of Hero and Tara.
Hero is one of the brothers.
His life wasn't easy but when he joined the Knight's Legion he found his family, his brothers.
But he's not himself. Something is off and after one tragic incident...
Tara is one feisty gall. She is stubborn and doesn't take no for an answer.
When she wants something she goes for it but one glimpse at Hero and...
Omg, what a book... What a story...
I'm so overwhelmed with it that can't type fast enough.
Superb plot, very well written, super engaging, and intense.
The darkness that surrounds this book is so thick that I couldn't breathe properly.
The characters worked perfectly with each other and their struggles are real and you can feel them inside your bones.
There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone silly... Jeez... Stubborn much?
But then there were others that I wanted to hold them and promise better days.
I saw my heart being shattered into tiny pieces and then, slowly it started to mend.
Reading this book was similar to walking on a rollercoaster.
I'm so happy to have the chance to read this book and my heart is so full.
Amazing book Naomi, perfect in every way.
And, being the greedy girl that I am, what's next?
When can we get the next one?
This is going to be an amazing series.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Been looking forward to Hero’s story, especially after THAT teaser in the last book.

Tara, Angel’s best friend, had an intense sexual connection with Hero. He felt the same and was completely enamoured by Tara, practically worshiping her with his mouth, words and err other body parts. When she’s ordered to stay in his room while he leaves for a club run, Tara is thrilled and thinks she’s found her One.

Yep, you guessed it, Hero fucks up. When he doesn’t return with the rest of the club and ends up in jail, refusing to see Tara and setting her free, Tara is devastated.

But don’t worry, his insanity was short lived and he quickly woke up to the fact that he loved and needed Tara.

But the damage had been done. What I was surprised by was as much as we saw how hard and sarcastic Tara was in Angel and Storm’s story, reading her story in Hero was very heartbreaking. What she was going through privately, the hurt she experienced, especially when Hero rejected her was tough to read. I’m not mad at Hero because he himself had a tough history mixed with grief and guilt. Plus, he came to his senses pretty quick and from that moment on was there for Tara and her demons.

There were moments that I thought Tara was being a little unfair and selfish about Hero’s past, something he was very sensitive to her about. But Hero really stepped up and showed that he had enough room in his heart for her and that she was the love of his life.

This was an emotional read with two damaged souls that found and healed each other. I’m looking forward to reading the next instalment!

P.S. there is also some great MC club drama as always

love the series but dislike this heroine

I am loving this series . I have to admit that Tara has not been a favorite character of mine . She still isn’t . The way she reacted when Hero told her about Monica, making it all about her when he was pouring his heart out made me hate her .

That being said I loved Hero. The fact that he could put up with Tara gave him bonus points . I thought she was too disrespectful to Storm and Copper as well .

Loved seeing all of the Mc brothers and old ladies again and I can’t wait to read more!

I am not really sure what to say about this book. We all knew that Hero and Tara were destined for each other from the first moment in the bakery. If that wasn't a clue, then it was definitely going to happen after they were both taken by the rival MC. I would have been severely disappointed if they didn't have their own story. I keep writing, and yet there's nothing good enough to describe this book. I think that might be because the main conflict of this is more emotional based versus situational.

At its core, this story is an emotional detailing about two broken people. They each can recognize those broken pieces in each other, but it's not an easy road to travel. One weekend shows them exactly what they can have, but those old insecurities take root driving them apart. It's like knowing what the end result is going to be, but you're not sure how you're going to get there.

Once that conflict has been resolved, the story pretty much glides forward. It's more centered along the daily life in the clubhouse rather than being a traditional MC novel with danger lurking in every corner. There are snippets that can easily be turned into further stories along the line. We learn more about Boxer. We see that Ire is still within his head in regards to the attack on the bar. Dodge is just sitting and hoping that one day Emilie will return with his child, and we get to see Storm in old man, new daddy mode. In my opinion, it was really good, but there were small details that were missing that could have made it much better.

Book three in this series, and I’m hooked! This series just keeps getting better. Enough action to keep you entertained and plenty of steam to keep it interesting 😉

We met Hero in the last couple of books, and he’s struggling!
Sargent-At-Arms for the Knights Legion MC and best friend to Storm (President and main character in the last two books)

Tara is such a great character, in the outside is a loud and brash redhead. But get behind those walls, and she’s a troubled mess (we get to find out what makes Tara tick in this book) but she’s not out for the count, nope, she might be a little broken, but she’s working on it.

There is no need to read the first two books, but it will give you background on both Tara and Hero. And if you do read this one, I bet you’ll go back to read the others 😉
Tara will just about break your heart, knock after knock, and yet she still keeps getting up!
Hero too hasn’t had a great past, and so these two should be ideal for one another. But Hero constantly pushes Tara away, but he can’t stay away!
So how can they work towards a future together?

This story was more about the emotional journey two people take towards one another and how they’ll figure it out. There isn’t much in the way of drama (kidnappings and beatings in the last two books!) but that’s what makes this book my favourite in the series so far. It doesn’t always have to be guns blazing, it can be more of a catch up and set up for the next couple of books. And there are plenty of characters that need stories 😉

Naomi Porter does it again.

Following the success of her first two book, 'Savage Storm' and 'Avenging Angel', the story of Storm and Maddy--Hellbent Hero follows Tara and Hero in the aftermath of what happened in Avenging Angel.

Naomi manages to seamlessly transition from one book to the next and leave us wanting more at the end.

Two damaged people fight their connection to one another and both seek refuge in what they know best: following back on old and dangerous habits.

"Once an addict, always and addict."

A true sentiment even in the real world.

Naomi manages to weave reality into fantasy when it comes to mental health and coping. The tension of the past colliding with the present is what drives these characters forward and made me never want to put the book down.

I actually didn't. I read it straight thru.

Follow Tara and Hero as they struggle to overcome their own addictions, fighting the memories of failure as they move forward together. There is tension, there is anger and OMG is there heat!!! 🔥🔥🔥

What made this books so good for me isn't just the writing, but the realness behind the storyline and the frankness of the characters.

Great Job Naomi!

Damn. Tissues Required. Naomi Porter hit me right in the feels with this truly emotional story that I absolutely devoured in one sitting.

Hellbent Hero commences right where Book 2 Avenging Angel left us, however this time we get Hero and Tara's (aka Roja) heartbreakingly beautiful story.

'Two damaged souls made whole when together.'

Both Hero and Tara have demons that have made them haunted, scarred and addicts.
There heartbreaking backstories squeezed my heart and had me reaching for the tissues. And while Hero and Tara brighten each others anguished souls, their journey to a HEA is not easy.
It's real, raw, angsty, steamy, frustrating, emotional, suspenseful, has a little action, and yet amongst all the heaviness it is heartwarmingly beautiful.
I absolutely love this world Naomi Porter has created. You become invested in the slightly broken but loveable main characters, and the secondary characters pull you in, as not only do they add to the story perfectly but they also have you intrigued to the point you desperately want their story.

Hellbent Hero is another amazing addition to this addictive series!
With the running storylines and the little carrots Porter drops throughout I'm excited to see where this series takes us next. Bring on Book 4!

A Highly Recommended Read!

Hero and his Roja

These books are full of intense situations, good and evil, heat and heart. They're also full of possible triggers, cliffhangers and continued characters and storyline.
This was not my favorite book. I adored the main Characters, but they both suffered so much, loss, tragedy, physical and mental abuse it was hard to enjoy the story. My heart broke knowing these horrific things like what they endured truly happens. I admired and cheered on Tara through all of her panic attacks, I was glad she found therapy and the love of another broken soul to help her see herself like others did. Loved the Characters, love these biker men who love hard and fast but this particular storyline was a little sad and depressing for me to lose myself in the pages. Still ends on a CLIFFHANGER, still unanswered questions...what about the kid in prison, whose the chick they found in the ditch ( pretty sure I already know), will Tara ever open up to Maddy?!? Read in order, caution with each book as the most definitely can cause triggers. None of these books are for the light hearted, each portray life altering tragedies, physical and mental abuse, rape, and loss but they are told with as much respect and dignity as possible with such hard topics. Free with K.U.
P.S. Deputy d°u©h€ gets his finally but it's not very satisfying considering his crimes!

DNF. There’s dark and there is depressing. This was so depressing that I just couldn’t read it.

So I didn’t like Tara in Maddy’s books, as she came across as stroppy and a bit of a b**ch at times. In this book her character is a lot worse. She suffers from severe depression, lack of confidence, neurotic and self harms, also she’s still a b*tch at times.

Then there’s ‘Hero,’ (The most inappropriate name for someone…. EVER!) Hero really doesn’t live up to his name. He was a drug dealing gang banger that got his wife and son murdered, then he falls for Tara, feels guilty about his wife, so treats her like she’s scum and that she was just a f*ck!! WTF AM I READING???? So Tara starts self harming again.

It’s awful. It genuinely made me feel depressed after reading it. Even though I didn’t finish it. One final point. If Maddie is supposed to be so close to Tara, how come when she sees that Tara is spiralling, she isn’t there for her?? I get that Storm worries about Maddie after what happened to her, but seriously, go round and visit her!! Go watch movies with her!!

Hero & Roja

Well geezuz, he didn’t even speak Spanish that much & I was melting🥵😂😂

I really didn’t expect that past from Tara, never heard of NSSI but that makes a lot of sense for some people.
I love the detail you pay to each character but I love that we get to hear from everyone throughout, family & loyalty is huge for me & I appreciate how much you show it in these stories. I also love how we still get Storm’s pov seeing as he is the prez but most other books don’t usually do it.

Happy for Hero & Tara, I liked the build up of their relationship from Storm’s story too which made it even more satisfying when it finally happened. Although in my opinion she should have made him grovel a bit more after he hurt her lol but I guess they had been through enough to play any more games.

Love the song’s that get mentioned, I’m not usually into country but love to play a song that a book mentions to really be in the zone lol

Can’t wait for Boxer’s story, I don’t know what it is about an enforcer but they are always my favourite, might be because they’re always the craziest😂

I hate it when I DNF a book it always feels like a failure and that maybe if I just get past that eye rolling moment the book will get better. Well after the scene at the "head doctor's" where the h was hiding behind her blanket while discussing her issues I just couldn't go on it was the final drop. The drops were accumulating from the beginning of the series it all seemed not well thought about without enough care from the author I had a feeling like she was "oh yeah let's add another drama everybody loves the drama" without a real plot behind it. One second there's a huge surprise drama and in another it resolves without any difficulty... last I witnessed something like that in real life I was in kindergarten. I started this series based on overall ratings without reading any reviews but at this point I read some of 3 or less stars reviews of the next books in the series and unfortunately I find them similar to my experience so for me the series finishes here. Disappointed I was looking forward to a new MC series...

Genre: MC Romance
Series Type: Standalone, but connected to a series.
Book Length: Novel
POV: Alternating Dual
Setting: Minnesota
Male MC: Hero Fuentes is the Sergeant at Arms in the Knight’s Legion MC. He lived a gangbanger’s lifestyle in his younger days that led to the death of his wife and unborn baby, and he’s been tortured over their deaths ever since. Hero is approx. late 20s/early 30s and has dark hair and brown eyes.
Female MC: Tara Walsh grew up with an abusive father and has been hiding her trauma for years. She is a second grade school teacher and is approx. mid/late 20s. Tara has red hair and sable-brown eyes.
Endearment: Roja and Baby
Spice Level: Medium
Frequency of Spice: Medium
Angst Level: Low/Medium
Cliffhanger: No
Epilogue: No
My Review: I wanted to love this more than I did. I just felt like Hero and Roja’s story was choppy and incomplete. It had emotional moments and was sweet and spicy, but the build up to their relationship wasn’t there. It is told a bit in Storm and Angel’s books, but not completely in this one. I enjoyed it overall but it just wasn’t my favorite so far.

I'm not sure where I was while reading the first two books in this series, but I had NO clue as to what was going on deep down in Tara that's for sure. Her pain was so all consuming that I found it hard to breathe at times because it just hit differently for me. There's no doubt that Hero had his own issues because his past has him filled with guilt, but he made some boneheaded decisions when it came to her so I found myself calling him some names. Seriously, he kept pushing her away which only added more pain into her world, and not even her bestie knew what was going on in her. Holy hell, I'm getting emotional all over again thinking about it. There are twists in the pages as well, as we are in the Knight's Legion MC's world, but the emotional portion of the program nearly brought me to my knees. Anyway, since I've said enough, I'll just end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

You need to be prepared for this author’s work. Firstly, her writing is very steamy, and sensual with a bit of edginess. I like couples with sizzling chemistry, so this is not an issue for me. However, besides this, you should also be prepared for darker themes. In this book, the female main character was into self-harm. The author was doing a good job sharing the backstory, and the etiology of self-mutilation, but this is not a subject matter that I want to read about..mainly, because I am a retired psychotherapist, and the book was feeling like work rather than recreational reading. It was just too heavy in a lot of ways. So, I DNF’d while the author was still in character development mode. I liked the first 2 books in the series, and will likely pick up the series on the 4th book depending on the characters and themes. So, this just was not my cup of tea..if you are intrigued, you should give it a shot, just be prepared for an intensely emotional, and somewhat dark read.

~~~~~~~~~~Julie's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Tara is simply broken. Her past dictates her life and Hero doesn’t make it any better. He thought he was doing the right things but it almost pushed her over the edge. Hero is very loyal and he won’t stop at anything to make sure that Tara is safe and happy. Excellent writing.
~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~

Tara and Hero had one weekend together but then he ran from her and from what they were building. She is such a strong woman, even if she don't feel that way. Hero has past issues he needs to work through but he is torn between his dead wife and the future he could have with Tara. I loved this story and all danger, romance, steam, strong women and alpha bikers. I highly recommend this author, book and series.

Good

Ok here we go! I liked this book but Storm & Angel will always be my favorite. Mainly because I preferred a big strong angry but soft & head over heels protective of me type of man. Interested in Dodge's story. I do think her saying once she left that was it was a bit of a waste considering how quickly she forgave him. Come on, Angel put up more of a fight! Again I really don't understand how these people can have full on conversations while getting down? Personally I can barely remember my name yet these people practically discuss what they want for dinner! So besides all my little issues this was a very good book. Would recommend I guess if you had read the first two but only if you plan on continuing the series. Does have a but of a cliff hanger but not with Hero & Tara.

This is the 3rd book in the series and it did not disappoint the main focus was on metal heath and the affects of loss and abuse it was so well written that you went on the emotional rollercoaster of emotions with them

Tara and hero both have a past that affects the present and future but there love for each other helps them though. It was also great that during some parts we had some of storm taking the lead so we could know what was happening behind the scenes to ensure Tara and hero's relationship worked out plus keep us updated with his and Angel story

I would recommend this book and the series but I would say ensure you have read knights legions book 1 and 2 to ensure you know what's happening plus the Facebook page keeps undate can't wait for the next book
