Oh wow, look. Another bad book that I enjoyed. We're all so shocked.

I cannot believe the heroes didn't deck the heroine in the face with the way she behaved IN THEIR HOUSE. Barging into their rooms at night, shoving her nose into everyone's business, bossing them around, complaining about loud music. Excuse me bitch, imma play it as loud as I want, it's my damn house - is what I would've said if I was Gabriel (H 1/3).

She is immature, spoiled, and reckless.....It was bordering on hilarity.

But of course I applaud her audacity.

I seriously don't know how I got myself into this situation. What if I can't overpower him? What if he hurts me, rapes me, kills me? What if I just walked right into my own goddamn downfall and I can't get myself out of it?
No. I have to get those thoughts out of my head. That's the way a princess thinks, and I'm done thinking like that.

Girl.....that's how a person with a brain and common sense thinks. Guess we don't have those. So add stupid to the mix.

The smut was really hot though. The heroes were like a 3 in 1 shampoo:
👼 An inexperienced virgin boy (Gabriel)
👴🏼 Older disciplined daddy (Silas)
👺 And the quiet broody one (Baron)

But I don't really get how they suddenly got so attached to each other...

you coming to us was probably the best thing that could have happened. You made our house feel like a home. Instead of just walls housing members, life was brought into it.

Literally all she did was have sex with them and spend their money.

I kinda wanted to see her with the villain, actually. His psychotic energy weirdly matches hers. That girl is a fkng lunatic and no one can tell me otherwise, when she brought out the flame thrower? I knew. And I swear she has some sort of bipolar disorder on top of it too, she could not make up her mind about anything. Plus the villain seemed hella possessive. Add him to the harem (or his ghost), he'd fit right in. It felt more like a love square because of all the jealousy. I ain't mad about it either way.

you certainly can’t have all of us.”
I raise a shoulder. “Why not?”
“Why not?” He laughs. “Because we don’t even like to share guns. There is no way in hell we’d be able to share you. Besides, I don’t want to share you with anyone. I want you to be mine, and only mine.”

Their threesome pretty much looked like this:
description
As soon as he reaches me in his brother’s lap, he steals my lips for himself.
Gabriel reacts by jerking me closer and grabbing my face roughly by the jaw and pulling me back toward him.
“Boys,” Silas barks as a warning from across the table.

Y'all😳 okay but that's kinda...

Two brothers fighting over a toy girl while the dad chastises them..... TAKE MY MONEY🏃‍♀️

I think I'm going to be amongst the minority that I didn't like this book especially the heroine. The premise is perfect. A father, son and step-son with their about-to-be-assasin girl. The are father/son issues and a virgin son. The heroine makes my mood bad, namely because she thinks she has the right to do whatever the fuck she wants from day one in the house of dangerous, murderous assassins. I wanted some hesitansy, shyness, stubbornnes, fight then sexual tension. But lo and behold she runs and slips on a dick before that happens. There needed to be more development when she starts sleeping with the father then the sons. I like that she admits she wants all three of them and is not ashamed of it, but she makes that confession in her head only as a result misunderstanding happens.

The heroes:

> Silas - sexy with a confident, mature sex appeal.
> Gabriel - deadly and a lose cannon.
> Baron - manipulative

Loved the beginning, darkish, grittish and I was excited to see where things would go. Give me a good reverse harem book and I'm on it, the storyline had promise, the heroine was just a little bit too sluttish for me, jumping from the father to the sons in a matter of a heartbeat though was hot in some scenes became too repetitive in others..Sadly for me this book missed the mark.

Well this was different. I thought that I had an idea of what I was getting myself into with this story but boy was I wrong!! Four was forbidden, dangerous, sexy, and it skirted on the edge of unconventional. you know what? That was me being polite. It obliterated the edge of unconventional.

Eighteen year old Iris has always had everything at her fingertips from a young age. Being a Mafia princess with a powerful father, certain things are bound to go wrong and sadly Iris got a front row seat to that impending tragedy. With nothing but a name and the clothes on her back, Iris turns to the only man who’s going to help her in her quest for one thing. REVENGE.

14749427

I really liked that this story was about a young woman’s journey into trying to find herself and do what was best for her in the midst of a terrible tragedy. I appreciated the heroine’s determination and seeing how she fought for herself when she felt like she had no one. But…. I had some issues with this story.

giphy-1

I wanted to see the characters evolve and sadly most of them did not. Despite seeing the characters in the story, I really didn't know who they were and I felt no type of connection for any of them. The relationship that each of them had with the heroine was not developed fully and certain things felt rushed. Just when I was starting to get the hang of something, the heroine switched things up.

This was a true unconventional story but I think that if you’re a fan of the forbidden nature, then you might enjoy this one.

“All of these men offer me something that I desire…

…They’re like my dream man but in three separate bodies.”

I don’t know. I liked it. It was steamy, but it did get a bit repetitive and while the mafia plot part was interesting it did lose some steam. But this was still a good read, even though I have complaints. I haven’t read an RH that was actually hot in awhile, so I think that’s why it won me over lol

ARC generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review -

Wow... This book, WOW. I went into this thinking how I thought it was going to be, but I was blown away. It was more than I thought in every aspect. These two authors came together and gave us - 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣!

It was 𝑫𝑨𝑹𝑲, it was 𝐺𝑅𝐼𝑇𝑇𝑌 , it was beyond 𝐇𝐎𝐓! So raw and original. Captivating and thrilling.
The steam was the forefront of the book for sure, but the story got there and held it's own.

We see 𝙁𝙊𝙐𝙍 people who are broken in their own ways. Alone and guarded.
But they fit together in a perfect puzzle. Their broken pieces mold and conform to each other in the best of ways. Man, do they met in the best of ways 🔥🔥

Iris is strong and fierce. She will get the job done and nothing will stand in her way. Come hell or high water she will bring everyone to their knees.. she is a mafia princess, after all. She will not cower, but defend herself and all who she deems worthy of her emotions and heart. I enjoyed watching her grow and get comfortable in the Black household. She was pretty bad ass. She lost a lot, in many different ways.. family, pieces of her soul that will never be uncorrupted... but she gained so much more of herself than she ever fathomed.

Silas was the dark daddy. He appears cold and off putting, but once Iris is in his presence all that falters. Gabriel was my favorite I think. He was so sheltered and a loner, but could probably torture and kill you in a million different way. Baron was the wild card. He was very closed off and thought everyone was beneath him. Especially the little girl who came running to his family when life got hard.

When they came together - it all went up in flames.. in the most delicious of ways.
If you're in the mood for a darker reverse harem, throw in some taboo and age gap... you're in for a super hot treat! Plus some mystery and twists and turns. It was packed full all the goodness.

STORY :
I appreciate the way the story dives in the moment it starts. You are getting dark, steamy, violence with some age gap. I wouldn’t say it’s mafia, but they are definitely a crime family. *******SPOILER*******My full enjoyment didn’t fully add to the star rating because of the father/son sharing. It’s a me thing and and not an author thing. And you know what’s crazy, out of all of them, I actually really love her relationship with Silas more. I think it’s because he gave me grown and sexy Zaddy. I like Gabriel and his little jealous side, but his age/maturity shows a lot around Iris. He seems more mature when he’s torturing (weird I know, that’s how I assess him). Baron, I really like him. It took longer for me to get to know him. He is very stoic as well. These guys were deadly in their own rights, but they became someone else around Iris. Now Iris, bad b*tch in the making. I liked her and love that she was willing to do what she needed especially after her dad died.

CHEMISTRY :
Good sexual chemistry, I have no complaints. Each guy gave you something sexually to look forward. Although it was a father/son dynamic, I appreciate how the authors worked it in sexually by not going too out there when they are together.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS :
There aren’t really any. But the enemy/opposition made it appealing as Iris seeks revenge.

OVERALL, Not bad, I find personally that one dynamic hinder a full enjoyment at times and that was a more personal thing. I still got action, dark, violence and good sex with a HEA.

✰✰TRIGGERS: I would say the violence good be triggers , depending on the individual.

****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.

This made me laugh!!! A lot. I won't even bother with a full review. I'll just say this, i went in blind with zero expectations but knowing it wouldn't blow my mind so i'm not totally disappointed or regretful but Come On it was so dull, boring, cringy, annoying, immature and every chapter kept contradicted the one before in a weird never-ending cycle of frustration.
Now this did help pass the time until my copy of 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐁 arrives so i won't complain too much. Plus It didn't even properly bore me and how could it with it's level of 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. I mean jesus would regret his sacrifice reading this, it was so damn comical, kind of like watching a cartoon while high on mushrooms. Now that did entertain me so Yeah to you! I guess.

This book is awful.

Don't get me wrong - it's pretty well written; there's no real problem with grammar, sentence structure, or spelling (though I'm not sure the authors really knows what 'domineering' means. Does a domineering man really have a domineering expression, even whilst driving?). Mind you, there's some clothing issues during an early sex scene - she takes off her dress, then instructs the male character to remove her pants, then when redressing, the dress has become a shirt.... Hardly a good sign, when the authors have lost focus during one of the first sex scenes.

The problem is, the characters and plot appear to be sprung from the mind and imagination of a fourteen year old. Or two fourteen year olds, given the dual authorship.

The female MC, Iris, is allegedly 18. Apart from fucking her guards, there's no mention of school, jobs, friends. She apparently spends her days....doing nothing and not giving much thought to her father's life of crime. He's apparently a 'mafia boss', but the kind where dealing in crime (per the imagination of CHILDREN) means he works in a shop, selling swag bags and boxes labelled 'crime'. Because she not only has no idea what he actually does, she is shocked and appalled (SHOCKED AND APPALLED), whenever anyone else commits a crime.

For real, she accompanies a man she knows to be an assassin, to an assassination, and she is shocked and appalled that he is breaking in to his intended victim's home. She knows he plans to kill him, but breaking through his front door is a bridge too far!

She resents being called a spoiled brat, yet has never done anything apart from sit at home being spoiled. She has no skills and no evidence of any natural intelligence. No job? Ok, assuming super wealthy. What are her hobbies, her interests, her pursuits? Nothing worth a mention apparently. She screams and shrieks constantly. Her vague attempts at 'plans' are embarrassing and she fails miserably every time, yet her arrogance and entitlement knows no bounds. When googling known associates of her revenge target, she does appear to be able to locate photos, court records and the location of the street corner they frequent though, which is something of a super power, if an....unrealistic one! She's also shocked to discover that her father's murderer had prior dealings with...her father (as opposed to orchestrating a purely random hit on her father and all his guards...?). The concept of motive seems to be a foreign country.

With regards to character relationships, she fucks Sirus and his two sons (hence the reverse harem categorisation, which seems to feel it's super daring and taboo, yet Sirus seems completely ambivalent to her interfering with his sons, which just comes off as disillusioned and uncaring. I have no problem with reverse harem, btw - though finding decently written ones is a. Chore. Just that I can see why sons may have an issue with someone also sleeping with their father) yet fails to comprehend why this may annoy them and even if she can comprehend it, shrugs and carries on because 'she just can't help herself'.

She is essentially the worst kind of female stereotype in fiction - the kind usually set up as the 'mean girl' in American high schools, yet this time, she gets everything she wants and needs because, whilst dumb as a box of hair, she is pretty. And fucking stupid.

What happens when you take three alpha male assassins and ask them to be yours? You hold on and enjoy one hell of a ride.

“...𝙬𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙨. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙚’𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪.”

Iris Pavetta is the daughter of a Mafia King. She should have been safe but life had other plans. Her fathers last words were “find Silas Black” then he was executed in front of her eyes. Scared, homeless, penniless, and devastated Iris goes to find Silas.

As the story progressed I realized Iris is more than your typical eighteen year old. While she may be obsessed with her own life she’s also compassionate and empathetic. Her ability to read people and their emotions, understand their wants and needs before they realize it themselves was a breath of fresh air.

Watching her learn the differences of each of her men was what drew me into the story full force. Gabriel is a complicated dark soul. He’s an eighteen year old assassin and loves delivering brutal interrogations. He captivated me with his possessive ways and wicked words.

“𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪?” 𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝.
𝙄 𝙣𝙤𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙.
...
“𝙄’𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙄𝙧𝙞𝙨. 𝙄’𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙖...𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙛 𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣, 𝙄’𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙥 𝙖 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣.”

Then we have Baron. He’s the dark brooding stalker bully who protects from afar while quietly shooting daggers your way. He intimidates through silence or snide scoffing remarks. Yet when you least expect him he swoops in for the save and shows affection.

And rounding out this foursome is daddy Silas. Something about this man, I need more stories with purely him as a H. He, like his sons, was dark and brooding. Exuding the arrogant confidence of a dominant alpha male.

“𝙄 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙢 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙮 𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙠, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙠. “𝙄 𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡,” 𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧.
𝘏𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦.”

I like that the relationships were solidified and established individually before becoming a harem. There was the initial push-pull of jealousy and possessiveness that led to some hot AF claiming scenes from all three of these men. And through it all Iris owned her sexuality and personal desires. She made sure each man knew she wasn’t going to choose no matter how hard they thrust for a decision. And by the end of the book we saw a strong, confident, independently wealthy Iris emerge victorious with her men at her side.

Talk about twisted and super sexy. I don’t usually read reverse harem romance, only occasionally and I’m very picky but I’m very glad I picked this one up because I ended up enjoying more than I thought I would. Rachel is a new to me author while I’m already a fan of Sara cate so when I read the Blurb, I knew I had to read this. The writing was addictive and sucked me in. It was sexy, thrilling with the right amount of bully. The chemistry easily flawed between the MCs. The world building was done amazingly and I’m looking forward to reading more.

Yawn... 🫣🥱 This book was soooo poorly delivered. Erratic young girl (Iris Pavetta) whose dad was murdered and now she's seeking revenge. So, of course, she hooks up with every random guy in her path.. PASS!!!

“Let’s be very clear. This is not emotion I’m showing. It’s mercy, and not for you but for my brother because I do think he likes you. And he deserves better than a whore who will fuck every cock in the house.” Baron

Silas... the dad/Boss
Baron... older brother/Killer
Gabriel.. little brother/Virgin

**Revenge
**Entitled Girl

This was such a refreshing reverse harem book. Perfectly dark, full of angst and delicious. I loved every minute of it and I loved how trong our heroine was. Iris was confident, but she was also trying to find a way to make her new life work.
Then, we have three men who will turn her world upside down.
This was very well written and I applaud the authors for their work. I recommend it.

If you ever wondered if Sara Cate and Rachel Leigh could write a book together and make it good, the answer is no. It was better than just "good". It was SPECTACULAR.
This was one of those books that you never ever wanted to end. Although its been a little while since I finished this book, I still remember everything in detail. There are so many things I loved but I want to keep this as vague as possible because I need you to go in as blind as you can and with an open mind. There is no incest in this book although it is about a girl that is having a relationship with a father and his 2 sons. That's ALL I will tell you.
I LOVED Silas. He was EVERYTHING.
I LOVED Gabriel. He was EVERYTHING.
I LOVED Baron. He was EVERYTHING.
I LOVED Iris. She was EVERYTHING.
All FOUR of them were literally everything. When they were separate they were missing something. Each other. I have not read a reverse harem like this before. It was freaking PERFECTION. EVERYTHING I LOVED IN A RH IS IN THIS BOOK! You have to read this. I NEED these 2 authors to co write again. 5 stars isnt enough!!!

Entertaining and steamy

This story combined all the themes I could hope for in a sizzling bundle -- romantic suspense, mafia / mafia wars, hired assassins, reverse harem of diverse alpha antiheroes, and taboo. After the murder of her father and his men due to a transgression, Iris goes to live with her father's trusted "he owes me one" contact, Silas Black. Iris is immediately attracted to cool but lethal Silas and his skilled and broody, wayward sons. She enlists them to help in her quest for revenge.

To say this story was steamy is an understatement. I enjoyed the serious flames ignited. Fans of heat from first attraction, a confident, sexually experienced heroine, why choose, age-gap with some taboo -- and throw in a virgin hero -- will have their dreams fulfilled in this story. I am a fan.

The relationships, in contrast unfortunately, felt hollow. They lacked intimacy to give them authenticity, or make them romantic. The lack of connectedness was due to the character development not being rich enough, and made the abundant love scenes appear like sex for sex's sake, indiscriminate. Nothing wrong with that, but it was at odds with what I felt was trying to be conveyed, which was intimacy. I didn't get a deep sense of who the characters were, where they came from, their former relationships (besides Gabriel) until some mention in the quick ending. And while Iris was depicted as an experienced, strong heroine, she lacked the background and training in the face of occasional reckless bravado. It was unrealistic that she would be able to take down a mafia head if her mafia head father was unable to — and he had been “in the business” his whole life. Additionally, every male character was drawn to Iris, but her qualities, again the character development, was not sufficient to make this element believable. I am certainly happy when a heroine gets the attention, particularly of the male leads, but it was fanciful.

Still I was bashfully comfortable. I loved the taboo, fascinating theme of having the father and son in a relationship with Iris though there was no father-son sharing. How creative to depict jealousy and possessiveness -- typically not found in a reverse harem storyline -- among brothers and that building their polyamorous relationship was a new, evolving effort. Great unexpected plot twist refocusing the storyline to the mafia-retribution objective. Another positive of this book was the pace. I enjoyed the plot progression, no unnecessary descriptiveness or stalling of the story. Truly, there was nothing boring about this book. Silas -- loved his calm and sexy way, and quasi forbidden daddy figure. And lastly, every character in the story was beautifully flawed, whether "good guy" or not.

Overall, a great with some characteristics that do not hinder the story. Give me steam and antiheroes and the story is already an enjoyable read.

What I loved :

💠The writing was good. It flowed and there were no errors.

💠Gabriel- That guy was demented, passionate and a virgin assassin with a baby face and a devilish smirk painting his lips. Well, consider me invested.....very much invested in this guy. And he was an interrogator. Well, that's just icing on top of a too delicious cake isn't it?!

What I didn't like:

🚫Iris - ugh, she was the definition of a silly little spoiled brat. I really wanted to kick her a time or two. Actually, scratch that. I wanted to kick her during the whole book.

🚫There was no character development. Also, the polyamourous relationship felt forced rather than a mutual decision. It felt like Iris had all three of them wrapped around her vajayjay and was manipulating them into a reverse harem relationship.

What was just "eh-okay" :

🆗 Silas- He had this Daddy vibe going on, which suited him really well but I couldn't connect with him at all. Also, he seemed like a side character more than anything.

🆗 Plot - The plot and the sex were balanced. One didn't out-do the other but this book really would've benefitted with something more to the story. It was a relatively simple revenge plot and it was carried out like it. My feelings regarding the plot are neither here nor there....just okay.

🆗This book didn't invoke any feelings in me. It helped me pass the time but I couldn't connect to either the characters or the story. I was detached and indifferent for the most part.

I'm not saying the book is bad, I just don't think it was for me.. (no, it's not my first Reverse Harem so it wasn't that). The start was good, but then I found myself to be skimming throught.. I also personally didn't like the heroine - I just couldn't really connect with her. I wish we got the men's POV as I really wanted to know what was going through their heads especially with the ending and not just hers. On the other hand, I must say that the plot was good and I liked what it was about. And I truly loved Gabriel, he was the star of the book for me.

I said I was in a book slump and Sara Cate and Rachel Leigh said ‘you thought’ 😂

Loved every minute of it.
We get a psycho virgin with a knife kink, an age gap daddy who wants to take care of her, and a grumpy enemies to lovers older brother. What a lovely beautifully balanced group with all my favorite kinds of men.

And they’re assassins, it’s great.

Picked it up and couldn’t put it down. Definitely recommend.

I heard this gave off Credence vibes with assassins and I was sold. I recently read Sara Cate for the first time with her Salacious Player’s Club and couldn’t wait to try out more of her backlist. This is a mafia, reverse harem romance.

The story opens with Iris having some fun with one of her father’s security guards. Her father is the oldest crime boss in the city. When the house gets ambushed and guards are killed, Iris’ father finds her and tells her to get out of the house and find Silas Black. Right after he gives her a card to go find Silas, Iris’ father gets shot in front of ber. She flees and finds Silas Black’s home, when she first arrives she comes across Gabriel (Silas’ adopted son) torturing someone strapped to a chair. Silas’ other son, Baron, is also briefly introduced to her. Iris becomes intrigued by all 3 when she discovers they are hired assassins and wants to be taught everything they know. Iris wants revenge and needs to learn all the skills necessary to end everyone who played a part in her father’s death.

She first makes a deal with Gabriel to trade lessons with him for lessons with her (tips on women and sexual lessons). It quickly evolves into her having a separate relationship with all 3 of the men in the house. I liked how Iris’ is in control of her life and her plans for revenge. The way she uses sex as a bartering chip to get what she wants from the men at first. This book jumps right into her joining in and learning all the assassin ropes. It was more insta-relationship between her and each of the heroes. But at the same time it was entertaining!

This book is a great read and is a real dark, reverse harem romance book that you love and I was gripped from the very first page. Theses authors writing together was absolutely fantastic and I cant wait to read more from them both in the future.

Iris is a strong and very independent woman that knows exactly what she wants and she thought that everything was going great until it wasn't.
Iris's world has just been totally turned upside down and now nothing will ever be the same ever again. There was one last thing that her father did for her before it all went down and that was to tell her where to go and she'd be safe, little did she know that the challenges she was about to face were the hardest of her entire life.

This book captivated me from the start and this mafia family was great to read about. It has action, suspense, steam and the twists were awesome.
This book has it all and I really loved how these authors wrote these characters as they all bring something different and these authors brought them all to life on the page perfectly and their style of wring is amazing. The Black family men have a lot about them and they are willing to protect Iris after getting to know her and not only because Silas owes her father a favour. There is an age gap romance that has a lot of sizzle and is well worth reading especially if you love Reverse Harem.
