I've been infatuated with Silas Prescott for the longest time.

Sure, he doesn't know I'm alive as he walks past me without looking up from his phone. But, it's not like I ever thought he would notice me, or anyone else for that matter. All he cares about is work.

That is, until he needs a date and his sister insists I should play his fake girlfriend. And not just for a date, but a whole weekend, staying in the same room, lying to all of their friends and family. But I'm desperately in need of money and I can handle a weekend pretending to be a billionaire's plaything.

Only...it's hard to remember it's only fake when he acts like a possessive jerk, or when he tells me I'm beautiful, or when I'm in his arms.

But I have to remember it's not real because falling for my fake boyfriend would be a mistake. There is only one thing Silas Prescott cares about and that's work.

Author Note: This relationship might start out fake, but it doesn't stay that way for long. Along the way there's a dressing room incident, dancing, and a Momzilla who wants nothing more than to have her kids happily married. Don't worry, our hero and heroine get their happily ever after.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Georgie is drowning under the weight of debt of her mums medical bills, but she has a steady job as a receptionist at Prescott Inc and works a weekend job as a waitress but still she is only just able to afford to live. So when Hazel Prescott says she needs a favour for her brother Silas, the man she has been crushing on since her first day and none other than the CEO requires a fake girlfriend to keep his mother off his back about his need to find a woman and settle down with kids already at his parents party . She’s left with the choice of paying off her debts straight away and spending the weekend with the man of her dreams or continuing to work every hour she can to pay off the outstanding amount, the choice is an easy one to call but will she escape the very real possibility of leaving with her heart broken?

Silas is regretting agreeing to attend his mother and fathers thirtieth wedding anniversary, she already setting up women for him to choose from. He had no intention of looking for a wife just yet he still has a life left to lead. So when his younger sister comes up with a plan he sees little choice but to get on board and hope this is the answer to his problems. It’s not until he reaches his sisters office and meets the woman she has chosen for him that he realises how complicated his life has just become because the woman in front of him is the one meant for just him. Now all he has to do is convince this woman that there is nothing fake about the feelings between them. Will he be able to show her the life they are meant to have or see her leave him behind?

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and I throughly enjoyed it. Such a cute story and Georgie was too sweet for words. If you like short, steamy sex scenes and a happy ending then try this book. 4* read.

Georgie has had a crush on Silas since she started working in his building. Silas would walk by her every day and wouldn’t even notice her, but that all changed when his sister came up with a plan.

It was okay. I didn’t like the writing style, and I almost dnf’ed.

This man was obsessed with her overbite. Like it was mentioned almost every. other. page. Don’t ask me why, because I still don’t know.

Silas, 28, is a serious workaholic whose mom is trying to play matchmaker for him because she wants grad kids. His sister suggests he take a fake girlfriend to their parent’s anniversary party to get their mom to leave him alone. She sets him up with Georgie, a receptionist at their firm who is now the sister’s good friend but Silas never really noticed her in the 2 years she worked there. Georgie agrees to be Silas’ fake date and will use the money he will give her to pay off her deceased mother’s medical bills. Silas quickly realizes that sweet, sexy, happy but klutzy Georgie will be a major distraction because he is attracted to her. Will the serious, possessive Silas fall for the positive thinking, happy Georgie and will their fake relationship become real?

I enjoyed this cute, short story where the serious workaholic tries using a fake date to get his mom to quit trying to set him up. He never had the time or inclination to date until he met Georgie and experienced instalove. The epilogue was a perfect ending for their story.

Silas needs someone who can draw him out into a world other than the business one he lives in 24/7. Georgie’s the perfect one to do that even if they are just “faking it” for the weekend. But Georgie’s life hasn’t been easy, and she’s sure she doesn’t belong in Silas’s world but what harm could one weekend make? Theirs is a mostly light-hearted tale filled with charm, delight, and steamy passion. It’s easily believable that these two would have such an “instalove” connection. Although brief, this is an enjoyable and entertaining read. You’ll find yourself instantly captivated, unwilling to put the story down even at the very end. And, what’s even better, this is one of those books where you’ll be enticed by the side characters, also, wanting to have their stories as well. So, keep your reading glasses close because there's more to come.

Faking it with my Billionaire Boss is the first book in Melissa’s newest series and it’s a winner! Silas Prescott is a billionaire workaholic with the doozy of all mothers, in fact in his text list she is Momzilla! His parents are having an anniversary party and Momzilla has a candidate! Unfortunately the girl is someone both Silas and his sister Hazel are not fond of and Silas will do just about anything to keep away from her. Hazel comes up with the perfect scheme, get a quick weekend date to keep Momzilla off his back and her friend and receptionist at the company Georgie is it! Georgie is in need of money to pay for medical bills. Easy job right - wrong because Silas and Georgie have chemistry that they can’t deny and they have a lot in common and click. What starts out as a fake relationship won’t remain one! A really fun book!

Even though Georgie works two jobs she has been struggling financially due to some outstanding medical expenses for her mother. She has been attracted to Silas for a while so when he offers her an arrangement that allows her to spend time with her and pay off her bills it seems like a dream come true. What could possibly go wrong?

This is a sweet and sexy story as Silas finally realizes that the woman that he never knew he wanted has been right in front of him for all this time.

Melissa Schroeder never fails to give the readers a story that they can enjoy. Faking It With My Billionaire Boss is a fun and quick read that really is nothing fake about.

Georgie is a good Woman with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Drowning in medical bills from her mother and just trying to keep afloat with not one but two jobs. When an opportunity knocks that allows her to clear out the medical debt and have a little fun, the temptation pushes her onward.

Silas has dedicated himself to work. Twenty eight years old and a workaholic with a meddling mother that wants nothing more for him to be happy and to get some grandbabies. When his loving sister hatches a great plan of a fake relationship Silas agrees to the plan but when the woman chosen is revealed, fake just went out the window.

Faking It With My Billionaire Boss is fun, sweet and sexy. I loved the unexpected side of Silas. Georgie is just too sweet for words. Together they are perfect. Their personalities complement each other well and I love how they interact with one another. And not to mention their chemistry in true Melissa Schroeder fashion is off the charts. This is one of those quick reads that will definitely have you with a smile on your face at the end.

Her boss's sister is Georgie's best friend and gets her to pretend to be Silas's date for a family function. He finally wakes up and really takes notice of Georgie in more ways than one. The chemistry between them is instant and explosive, but will it last? Will it stop his mom from being his match maker, trying to get him married? Will he finally realize there's more to life than work? I really enjoyed this fun read. Can't wait to read the next book. Patsy Sacco

Silas is an introvert and Georgina’s boss. She is instantly attracted to him as she sits in the front receptionist desk while he walks by and doesn’t notice her. His sister Hazel comes up with a plan to divert their Momzilla from setting him up and she talks Georgie into being his fake girlfriend for a family function. He is smitten immediately and the weekend turns into more than they bargained for. Great shorter story and as always, thoroughly enjoy this author.

This was a really cute and fun and very hot novella with two characters that have a bit of insta love/lust.Silas is the hote billionaire that is a workaholic and whose mom wants to find him a wife. Georgie is the poor receptionist at his business whose besties with his sister. When they try and stop his moms matchmaking well thats when he sees Georgie for the first time.

This story was well written Has some hot scenes and was a fun and flirty story with more books coming that are connected and I cannot wait for Milo's.

Faking it with my Billionaire Boss was another amazing story by by Melissa Schroeder. Its book one on the new Faking It Series. When Silas needs a fake girlfriend for his parents anniversary weekend getaway, his sister suggests Georgie. She works for his family's business and needs the extra money. She also has a big crush on the introverted workaholic Silas. But this fake relationship begins to feel very real. Definitely love this new series and look forward to the next book in the series! 5 stars!

Meddling mothers bring out the crazy in all of us. To avoid her matchmaking Silas’ sister plays matchmaker instead, calling it a fake relationship to avoid their mother. Little did they know the sparks were flying instantly and alpha Silas came out of workaholic shell. Georgie is an intelligent woman, caring and selfless. If you enjoy a quick read with an instant connection and some steamy scenes this would be perfect. I received my copy from the author and my review was provided voluntarily.

But the attraction between them won't be denied, even when Georgies insecurities sends her running and Silas proves to her there is more. I loved this book with great characters, intense attraction and a storyline that pulls you in.

I really liked these two, they were everything you would expect in an insta-love story! Both socially awkward, him having money, her having debt, and a fake relationship that benefits them both. Queue the love at first site, don’t forget the resistance and misunderstanding, and liberally sprinkled with desire and no resistance to said desire. Top it all off with an epilogue for now and one for the future <3

Great easy read. Straight forward story line. Female in financial troubles gets convinced to pose as a rich mans girlfriend. I am not a fan of this kind of book. Female is often made to look weak or put down. The author did a great job of having neither of these thing happen. I was pleasantly surprised. No major drama but the characters are still believable. You get pulled in to there world. Best part there are more books to the set.
Each book can be read as a stand alone. But really, I look forward to revisiting beloved characters as the books evolve.

This was a quick read, so things progressed with Georgie and Silas as they pretended to be dating to get momzilla off his back. I liked the quirks the characters had and I liked how Hazel fleas the link for these two to get together. I had a few questions about some of the time table and interactions, but overall I enjoyed the story and was satisfied with the ending. I am excited for Hazel to have her own story next.

Simple, a little fun and hot

It's a good romantic comedy, which I liked for its light side, these characters: Georgie who is both discreet and awkward, and Silas, his boss who spends his time controlling everything, except him when he is facing Georgie.
The story is predictable by its theme, but the romantic comedy side (a little hot) is quite successful and carries the story.

Silas is a workaholic who walks through reception with his head bent over his phone so never sees or acknowledges the receptionist Georgia. However when he has to attend his parents wedding anniversary party he knows his mother will be matchmaking, his sister has the bright idea of a fake girlfriend. Her suggestion is Georgia!! As soon as Silas meets her he knows he's in trouble with a capital T! and he wants a lifetime of trouble with this woman.
I love a good fake it story and this has a great fake it storyline.

Her friend Georgie, who has a crush on Silas. Will their mother (nicknamed Momzilla) be happy with Georgie? Will this work for them? I loved the sparks that Georgie and Silas have, the humour of their story (and I loved both of them too), and I hope that we get to read about Hazel's story soon.

I loved reading this quick insta-love story by Melissa Schroeder. It was sweet and sexy with some comedy thrown in the mix. I really enjoyed whenever Momzilla was mentioned. Silas and Georgie come from different worlds but they complemented each other well. Their passion sizzled off the pages and what started out as a fake relationship quickly turned to love. This author does a wonderful job developing characters and story that readers can enjoy in a short period of time without missing a beat. I’m looking forward to reading Hazel and Milo’s story next.

Every once in a while, I need a quick read with very little angst and a guaranteed HEA. This book fit the bill.

Silas and Georgie's story was instalove as well as Instalust. I liked them together. Georgie's habit of not being able to remain upright was quirky and kind of funny. I liked Hazel and Milo. I appreciated that Georgie's didn't have to endure A bunch of snobby rich people.

I did wonder if Georgie ever explained to Silas why she lived in the apartment and why her money was so tight.

A fast, fun read that was quirky, humorous, sweet, and steamy. I also got an epilogue, AND a bonus scene. Just the pick me up I needed.
