Batman is trapped on the Island-unable to speak, his memory gone, having to fight to survive against the deadliest warriors of countless worlds. Can even the World's Greatest Detective escape this trap when time itself resets every 22 minutes? And will the presence of someone else from Gotham City-a familiar feline fatale-help or hinder his efforts...especially when they don't remember each other? In another life, they were enemies, friends, partners...but here on the Island, can they do anything but battle to the death?
opa esse foi brabo. Batman detetivesco analisando o mundo de Fortnite pra sair dele e tentando entender o que está acontecendo, se adaptando ao que está acontecendo. Muito brabo o PREPARO
Where is this even going? There’s basically no story here besides being repetitive from the last issue. I kept waiting for something new or more interesting to happen but it never came. And Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe is coming next issue? How and why? What’s the point of that and what things in this issue directly relates to that happening in the next? There’s an interesting approach here with having no dialogue and being an inner monologue Batman’s thoughts, but that strands the dynamic between him and Catwoman to only be explored in the art with their movements, which isn’t that great to being with, and doesn’t really translate to bring romantic anyway. Besides the obvious inclination of money, I don’t even know why this crossover exists especially considering how it seems there is no clear path to any payoff.
A really really really cool second Volume in this series, living up to what I was hoping for after I finished the first.
Batman gradually begins to figure out the storm by leaving himself messages; to pick up from where he left off each time he awakens with no memory. I love the development of his relationship with Catwoman. Despite their memories being reset, their connection remains and grows. Though they are strangers, they know they are lovers.
What I really like about this series so far is that it’s not over the top with the Fortnite side. It doesn’t feel cringey or that it’s aimed for kids. It makes a solid Batman comic, just with supernatural vibes. Also I’m a big Groundhog Day fan so I find this storyline very enjoyable and interesting. Plus the artwork looks really great too.
Tbh I could have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t just a short volume. I’m looking forward to the next one even more so now!

We get to see how Batman investigates how the cycles and storms work, trying to make sense out of it all, considering that his memory resets every 22 minutes...
Honestly, it's surprisingly entertaining... was not expecting it at all, given that I know nothing about DC or Fortnite. I like where things are going.
