Acezar wakes in absolute darkness, calling out for Cecelia but there is no answer. They had landed their ship when the ground gave way. He feels like he should be dead and is surprised he isn’t. When he finds a light, the ship looks flattened and badly damaged. Vize is unconscious. He sees Cecelia is awake, and so is Ky’nac who is fussing with some wires. Gallen is unconscious by Cecelia under some debris. Cecelia told them Gallen, who wants his freedom from the mate bond, and Vize, who doesn’t want to share her, were conspiring to undo the mating bonds because Vize wants her all to himself. Ace looks up and the hole they fell through is way up there, no way of getting out that way. They are in a cave in Thaint territory and Vize is not familiar with this one. Even he realizes how dangerous an unexplored Thaint cave is. The two paths both lead downward. But when they find Ace has a concussion, he has to rest for at least 12 hours, so they are not going anywhere. Vize would be happy to leave him behind, but he knows Cecelia, and probably the other Dilarians, won’t do that.

After exploring, Vize tells them all there is only one way to go and it leads to a pool. If the pool is deep, it may contain dratax, fast, vicious, and blind. Their teeth can strip limbs in seconds. Carrying glow sticks in the darkness, they begin to swim across, not even able to tell how far it is to the other side. Will they all make it alive? They already feel something watching them. The danger is palpable, and they don’t know where the path on the other side will lead, only that there is no other choice to be made.

The tension is spiking as they all try to find a way out of the caves. There are other creatures they can hear, but no one knows what they will encounter. Right now, the biggest danger is crossing the wide pool without being eaten by the deadly occupants under the water! Grab your copy and see whether Cecelia and her guys will at least make it to the other side!

3.5 stars - This is Alien Warriors of New Dilaria Book 5, but book 2 of the books about Cecelia. I enjoy the stories but would prefer each one to be the full story of the romance rather than have multiple short stories that total up to a book. This one is about 80 pages, which to me is a little more than a novella and not really a book.

The world-building in this story feels like it could be realistic and the twists and turns in the plot keep it moving nicely. I like that each character is distinct from the others and that they do not all agree, since, in real life, you rarely get a group to agree, especially in dire circumstances. In this case, one of the mates does not want to be a mate and another wants Cecelia for himself alone. This leads to a lot of stress, arguing, and a cliffhanger at the end of this section. You have to read the next "book" to find out what happens.

WILL MATES BE RIPPED APART?
This is a good story but I hate cliffhangers! Must read Forbidden first! There are new revelations as they spend more time together and face new dangers...
Cecelia and her mates end up in the Thaint city. Vize wants the others gone. Can he reconcile what he wants with what his father, Chief Gauge, wants to do? Can the destruction of their bonds be stopped?... To be continued...
If this wasn't such a good story I would give fewer ⭐ because of the cliffhangers. Why can't we just get one whole story? I will be waiting for the next one.

Wow there’s a lot going on
This is a second book in the series and let me tell you you will not be able to stop turning the pages there is so much going on we get more information about these mates and their reasoning for why they did what they did. But I am tell you something Cecilia is an amazing woman. She is sassy she knows what she wants and she’s not scared Of talking her mind and putting her mates in their places. I cannot wait for the next book to see what happens next but let me tell you will not be disappointed in this series absolutely got me on the edge of my seat roll-on book 3

At first Vize is onboard with stealing Cecelia away from her other mates and taking he r for himself. He's following his chief's orders. But. the more he gets to know Cecelia and her other mates the more he comes to question whether what he's doing is the right thing, just as he wants to claim Cecelia as his mate. Would it be so wrong to be one of her mates? After all that's happened, Cecelia wants Vize, but doesn't know if she can trust him and it's tearing her apart. The story just keeps getting better and better. Bravo!

Much as I liked this book and the other third of the story, I won't buy the last section.

I absolutely abhor books chopped in pieces so that I have to continue buying to find out the end. So it stops here. If I get it free that's the only way I will get the ( maybe) end of this great story. She gets two stars cause the story is mostly pretty darn good even full of typos and other errors. But she loses the other three for making it a serial to suck more money out of her readers.

Was such a great story with plenty of action, adventure, drama, danger, and love. I hate that they took the mate marks off Cecelia. Then the story ends. Now we have to buy another book if we don't get them free. What a shame. I understand that authors want to get paid too but make the books longer for the money you want. This very well written book 5 in Alien Warriors of New Dilaria Book Series is an interesting, steamy, Alien Romance with great characters. The story has amazingly well-crafted scenes, storyline, and characters. These characters have unique personalities, histories, and realistic interactions. This entertaining story has the following: twists, turns, adventure, action, love, steam and a HEA. It is an entertaining alien romance book that will keep you hooked throughout. A must read

Cecelia and her mates are trapped in a collapsed cave with no way back up to the surface. They face waters infested with danger and a period where they heal and bond more. One heck of a cliff hanger in the ending with no idea what more could possibly go wrong other than they will not be together for long. So many questions. Loved the characters and storyline, with plenty of action and surprises, twists and intense emotions. Well done.

Wow, again. I need to be able to binge all of these, but I can't make myself wait until they all get released! I will surely die waiting on the next one. These story "installments" are so good. A literal cliffhanger comes with this book, but the story is so worth it. Trying to love and hate all of these guys is killing me. I couldn't read this fast enough!

It's hard enough with four mates but when one is a different species it brings a whole lot more complications.
I can't believe the Thaint would do what they did to Cecelia but I never did like the chief. Talk about a piece of shyte. I'm glad Gallen decided to stay but what will happen regarding their matebond?
I so wish I could read the next book this instant!

Cecelia and her mates have crashed into a mountain side. Acezar has a concussion. So they decided to stay until he gets better. Cecelia doesn't trust Vize but knows that he is one of her mates but hasn't bonded with him yet. Gallen it's sure if he wants his mark removed now. Ky'nac knows that he will do anything to protect Cecelia. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. Cecelia finds herself with four mate, the problem is one who wants her has his own issue and wants out, another will not share. When they are taken away it is with the intension of removing the marks.

Tension rises high with Cecelia and her men, as she fights for what she want in compare to what they do.

This is another exciting installment of Cecilia's story and man, it's another page turner! It's full of action, danger, betrayal and more development of her relationship with her guys. I am, once again, though, on the edge of my seat waiting for what will happen next. I'm really enjoying these New Dilaria stories :)

Charming, beautifully written, and hopelessly romantic. Isn't it just so great when you find one of those books that completely drags you in, makes you fall in love with the characters, and demands that you sit on the edge of your seat for every nail-biting moment of it? This is one of those books for me. Read this series. You won’t be disappointed.

More of this group of mates. We start up after the ship drops into the earth on the planet. Then it's a roller coaster ride of emotions and tempers as the mates work through differences. You so want this group to settle their differences and come together for Cecelia. I do have to say I am not a fan of Vize and the anger he off loads. I can but hope he changes over time in this series. :)
