Simple Math is a quick, steamy, instant attraction with a bit of taboo when it comes to a professor and a student at the same university. A chance meeting in a packed bar has this couple falling hard and fast. Once Dane lays eyes on her he knows deep in his heart that he will never be the same and will give whatever it takes to make this work.
Dane and Lexi quickly realize that this relationship may come with consequences and a whole lot of give. Lexi is almost to the end of her graduate program and does not want to to anything to jeopardize her degree but this man makes her want her career and so much more. Can they find a way to navigate this complicated relationship and find that future together.
One plus one equals four according to Dane and Lexi's Simple Math.

‘Her smoky voice seals the deal. This girl is mine.’

• Professor x Student.
• Insta love/lust.
• Hardly any maths here, don't worry 😂
• Not over-dramatised. No family drama as well.
• Happily ever after.
• No OM/OW.
• Safe.

This book was a disappointment for me.

I love the student/teacher trope so much. It's probably one of my favorites. I barely consider this a student/teacher romance. She was a grad student, he's a professor at the University. However, they don't share any classes together at all. They aren't even in the same department. The thought that there could be any student/teacher drama is laughable. The author tries to shoehorn it in but it was pretty laughable.

The transitions were extremely rough. The writing jumped from scene to scene to scene. I was sometimes left wondering what was going on it moved around so abruptly.

There was major inconsistencies that brought me out of the story. She's supposed to have a studio apartment but then when they sleep together the first time he takes her to the bedroom. A point is made that Dane's brother can't come to the wedding but then, all of the sudden he's there as the best man with no explanation.

Top that all off with the fact that this is the only book in this series that I've come across that isn't on Kindle Unlimited and I'm annoyed. I had to pay $2.99 for it and I'd like my money back.

I completely devoured Simple Math by Loni Ree. The chemistry between Lexi and Dane was intense and off the charts hot! Dane was a professor of mathematics at the same university where Lexi studies accounting so she isn't in the same program of study so their relationship shouldn't be forbidden. Dane definitely knows he wants Lexi and he is willing to do whatever it takes to be with her. Definitely recommend!

An over the top read. A cute story line with characters that have an electrically charged reaction from the moment their eyes meet. Dane and Lexi are great characters each independent in their own way. Dane being ever protective of Lexi and give up everything just for her. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was an enjoyable read. This is book 7 of the Love 101 series. The story is a student-teacher romance. The story is a romance between Dane, the teacher, and Lexi, the student. It was one of the better student-teacher books that I have read. The characters were great. Lexi is trying to only focus on her schooling when she meets Dane. I feel like she is a bit naive, but she is also smart. Dane is a 32 year old math professor, and he wants Lexi. He doesn’t care that she is a student because they are not in the same department or classes. I thought their chemistry was great. Their romance was sweet. The ending seemed a bit rushed. I would have liked to see more romance before the pregnancy reveal. However, the epilogue with their family was adorable. I cannot wait to read the other books in the Love 101 series even though they are really short. Overall, a great read.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I really enjoyed this book!

Dane mets Lexi when they are both at a bar, he goes to talk to her, but she needs to focus on her college degree. Dane can't get Lexi out of his mind, he looks for her on campus. A week later, Dane heads to the local diner and finds her. When she takes his order he asks her for her phone number. After debating it over Lexi gives in, she tells him she's a graduate student and she finds out he's a professor. Lexi doesn't want to jeopardize Dane's career, but he asks her out anyway. After debating Lexi gives in and they exchange phone numbers. Lexi tells Dane she can't go out with him for a few days, she needs to study and has work. Dane shows up at Lexi's apartment, she cooked dinner for him. After they kiss he carries her to her bedroom where he pleasures her, he finds out she a virgin, then they make love. Dane stays the night with Lexi, over the next week weeks they don't spend much time together. Dane takes Lexi to his home for the first time, she can't believe how big his home is. Over dinner Dane tells Lexi about his parent and their company, and how he earned his Ph.D. Lexi tells Dane about her four brothers and her parents. After dinner they skinny dip in Dane's swimming pool, and make love. Lexi tells him she loves him and Dane tells her he loves her too. Dane talked to the dean of the school about his relationship with Lexi, he tells Dane that he needs to go to the board so they will make the decision. Lexi has a doctors appointment so she misses class, she decided she needs to get on some birth control, but she finds out she's pregnant. Lexi heads to Dane's home not sure how he's going to take the news. When Lexi arrives Dane can tell something is wrong. Dane asks Lexi what's wrong she tells him she pregnant. Dane tells her he loves her and he's going to love their baby. Lexi is worried about Dane's job as a professor, the same college she attends. After they make love Dane asks Lexi to marry him and she says yes. Dane calls Lexi's parents and makes arrangements. Dane and Lexi head to her parents, on the way she tells him how nervous she is. Dane tells her he's already told her parents about everything, he wanted to take the stress off of her. Lexi's family gets along with Dane, then he tells her there getting married this weekend. Dane's parents will arrive tomorrow for the ceremony, the following day. Lexi and her mom get busy the next day getting everything together. Lexi wakes up with morning sickness the following day and Dane takes care of her. The following day Lexi wakes to find a note from Dane telling her he slept in the guest bedroom. Lexi grabs some breakfast noticing she isn't feeling any morning sickness. Dane's father comes to wakes him early for breakfast. All the men head to Lexi's father's garage to get ready for the wedding. A few hours later Dane and Lexi are married in her parent's backyard. Lexi's mom arranged for then to have the bridal suite at the local hotel, they head to there after they say their goodbye's. Two weeks later, Dane turned in his resignation letter after he was reprimanded for their relationship. Dane will take plane to take a job designing mathematics programs. It will allow him to work from home and spend more time with their baby. Lexi has an appointment with her doctor and Dane goes along. After seeing her doctor and getting an ultrasound everything make a lot more sense. Lexi is having twins and she's a lot further along than she realized. Over the next few weeks Lexi morning sickness leaves but she's in the second trimester with pregnancy hormones. Several months later, Lexi gave birth to her twin girls, they were born full-term. Lexi now attends classes in the morning, while Dane stays home with the twins. When Lexi comes home at lunchtime Dane works through the afternoon. Lexi took a semester off when the twins were born, now she only has a semester to go. Lexi has a job already lined up with a daycare in town, allowing her to do most of their accounting work from home. Their twin daughters, Sammie and Marcie are four months old and sleeping through the night. It took an accounting student to teach the mathematics professor that one plus one equals four. Dane is the luckiest man in the world.

One + One = Love

Simple Math by Loni Ree is part of the multi-author Love 101 series. This is a insta-love at first sight, older man/younger woman, and Professor/student story. Professor Dane McKinney is thirty-three years old teaches mathematics at Red Falls University. Lexi Stokes is twenty-one years old and has moved across the country from her beloved family in Georgia. She is the middle child with four brothers who are all close. After finishing her undergraduate accounting degree she decided she wanted to get her graduate degree and when Red Falls offered her a full scholarship she took it. She may have to work at the local diner in town to pay for her living expenses but she is determined to concentrate on school and getting her degree. On the Friday night before school starts on Monday Dane is out for a couple beers with his best friend. After being in town of a couple of weeks to get her new apartment ready, get set-up at school and her new job Lexi decided to finally go out for a drink to check out this bar she walks past that she is curious about. When Dane looks around the bar he not only sees all the drunk soon to be students but he also sees her....and he is off. There may be some drama around Lexi being a student and Dane being a professor but he is determined that nothing will stop him from being with her, even if it costs him his job.

I enjoyed this fast moving and crackling hot smexy book. The story-line is an easy read and the characters are likeable and have a great chemistry.

Dane is a math professor at a college. He knows that hanging around students and dating them could ruin his career. He would much rather find women closer to his own age to be with but his best friend and co-worker likes hanging out at a bar right near campus usually filled with students. Dane has no luck finding someone to be with until he spots Lexi. She is sitting by herself and he can't keep his eyes off her. They have a flirting conversation until he reveals he is a professor. Lexi gets up and walks away after telling him she is a grad student at the same college. Dane knows he should forget Lexi but he can't. He is willing to give up everything to be with her.

Lexi is serious about her school work and future. She is just 3 semesters away from getting her masters in accounting. She doesn't want to mess up her focus but then she meets Dane. She is instantly attracted to him and might be willing to clear up her schedule to spend time with him. Then she learns that he is a professor at her school and she knows she should walk away. Being together could ruin both of their futures. Too bad she can't keep away from him.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Dane is a math professor who sees Lexi, a graduate student at a local bar where college kids primarily hangout. Their attraction is instant, when they get ready to leave together, Lexi panics and runs off. They see each other a week later when Dane comes to the diner where Lexi works for dinner. They talk and agree to dinner later in the week. Dinner leads to sexy times which eventually leads to a surprise, not really since they never used protection, pregnancy. Dane’s all in with her and proposes, then calls her parents and tells them everything. They take a trip to see her family and he surprises her with a wedding while in town. When they get back home they find out they are having twins. Dane resigns from the university and goes private sector, and Lexi takes time off to have her little girls. Epilogue with them happily a family.

Lexi is from a big family, the only girl with four brothers, and has moved far from home to attend college for her master’s degree. She is here on a scholarship but she still needs to work, she decides to hit a bar near campus just before classes start.

Dane, his friend drags him to the campus bar, just what needs he does not get involved with students at all. Across the bar he see her, he needs to talk to her. He gets her go see him again, he knows one night will not be enough, she is it for him he will do anything he needs to ensure that.

This is a short romance, over the top attraction between the pair, with insta-love not far behind. An enjoyable short read on par with other books by the author.

This book is part of the Love 101 series and focuses on Dane and Lexi. Dane is a math professor at the same university Lexi is an accounting graduate student. They meet one night in a bar and as soon as Dane sets his sights on Lexi he is a complete goner. He feels it deep in his bones that she is the one he is meant to be with and so does she but her fear leads her to run at first. Thankfully, fate stepped in and brought them together again. They decide to dive head first into their relationship but Lexi has concerns for the sake of Dane's job security if they are found out. Dane refuses to live without Lexi and is determined to do whatever he can to keep her forever. This was such a great story with a great HEA! Excellent addition to the series!

Dane enjoys his job at the University as a math professor. Preferring a night at home, Dane goes to the bar with his friend Nick. The last thing he expected was to meet a women that cause him to loose control of him mind and feelings. Lexi had moved to town and was working on her graduate degree, needing a night from the usual, she headed to the bar. When she walks in and see a big handsome man she can't help but loose her breath.

Simple Math is hot and steamy romance with a bit of drama, some good laughs, but it is of a deep and unyielding passion of finding love that is true. Dane's love for fast and quickly for Lexi, but compared to his dad he is a month behind. Lexi is determine and strong woman that follows not only her dreams, but her heart.

I liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable but I had a hard time connecting with the characters. The characters were interesting and likable so I think it may have just been my mood. Dane and Lexi meet by chance at a bar a couple of days before school starts. Lexi panics and runs away before anything happens between them. Both of them pine for each other until they are reunited. Dane is all in with Lexi before she is all in with him. Their decisions were sometimes questionable and sometimes just like, huh? I loved their happy ever after. I recommend giving this book a chance.

If you want a story with insta love, very little drama and an explosive chemistry between the characters then this story is for you because this book will definitely have you turning those pages faster than you ever though you could.

Dane and Lexi were perfect for each other and the forbidden factor of professor/student made the story more interesting.

I love Dane's determination to get the girl and I'm totally swoon by him.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Simple math is a novella in the ‘’love 101’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Dane is a maths professor that isn’t looking for love. When he meets Lexi, he wants her but what will happen when he learns she is his student?
The chemistry between Lexi and Dane is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Our hero knows he shouldn't, but he just can't stop himself. Fortunately, our heroine feels the same way.

This is a short romance of the insta-love variety. Oh, and we through in a bit of the taboo for good measure. The story is well written and easy to read with a small but fun cast of characters. I love our two leads and enjoyed the brief (very brief) struggle as to whether or not things should develop. And when the inevitable happened, that was when the fun started. This was a quick read, but a very enjoyable one and I look forward to more from this author.

Highly recommended

New Math.
Awesome book. Dane meets a young woman, Lexi, while out with a friend. He can’t stop thinking about her. They have a date and they’re both hooked. Lexi is concerned about his teaching position at the college. He feels that nothing will keep them apart, not even his job. Lexi doesn’t have to worry about having him in class since she has completed his math courses. What happens when the Board finds out about their relationship? What will the consequences be? Come learn how 1+1=4.

I thought that this was a really good book. I loved Dane and Lexi together. The connection and the chemistry between these two were amazing. These two knew that they relationship as forbidden but neither Dane and Lexi could stand to be part of each other. I really enjoyed the new math that this book brought to light for me and I would have to agree! I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Loni as a must read author.

Simply in Love😍

I am obsessed with Lexi and Dane, and the Love 101 series! Sometimes the professor and college student trope can fall a little flat, but Lexi & Dane’s love story had me hooked the entire time & I could not put it down! Lexi is a graduate student so there is not much in the taboo department other than them being at the same school, so the story is more focused on the intense attraction the two have and their HEA. This is probably my favorite of Loni Ree’s most recent releases & id definitely recommend picking it up!

A short & steamy romantic comedy of a professor falling for a graduate student - not one of his students. This book is insta-lust and love at first sight with a HEA and a little drama. The heroine, Lexi Stokes, has moved away from home for the first time to attend graduate school in accounting. The hero, 33-year-old Dane McKinney, is a mathematics professor at the college.

Nothing else matters except her

I've said it before and will hopefully say it again and again, I love how Ms Ree writes the H's initial reactions when he sees the h for the first time. The normal laid back, calm and collected men immediately turn into a bumbling, sweaty, nervous mess while fumbling words or doing something embarrassing. And he instantly knows that she's it for the rest of his life.
In this story, he's a professor and she's a student. Although she's not his student, it's still frowned upon to have relations but nothing will deter him from her. There is no one for either after meeting, no separation, she's a virgin, no details on his past at all. No OW/OM drama. This was a very nice relaxing read and I enjoyed it.

Dane and Lexi are on a crazy fast ride called love at first sight! This steamy short story is so sweet! Never thinking they could meet their forever at a bar one random night, but that’s just what happens! But he’s a professor at the college she’s attending. Can they make this work? Gotta read about this fiery couple!
