A simple book appropriate for the youngest readers (though my copy was paperback and I’m not sure if it comes in board book format) with farm animals making noise as they rush to a truck full of produce to eat. Elliot loves anything with farm animals, so he enjoyed this.
*Borrowed from my mother-in-law’s collection of children’s books
Nice length & good pace. Words and rhyme concise but fun and memorable. plot intact with effective build up and resolution. Dj enjoyed it lots at 1.5 yo! Love how well the illustrations works together with the words, they each contribute to the story, which wouldn’t work as well without one or the other
A simple book of animal sounds that correspond with the correct animal illustrations. The day consists of all of the animals running to many barrels of apples, eating their fill, and going back home to sleep. Good for very young readers.
I really liked this book; my toddler enjoyed it, but it was not one of her favorites. It has a fun rhyme with common animal sounds as well as less common ones and cute illustrations.
I really like this one. It’s got great rhythm and rhyme, cute pictures and a short but funny story. It's also easy enough to read for a beginning reader.
