Love in the Stars is the first contemporary romance novel I have read in a long time and let me just say this...this author does not disappoint. Love in the Stars by Jenn D. Young is such a beautiful and well-written love story that I was hooked from page one and was page-turning to the end. Ashton and Christian met one day at the same building, both on their way out, and for a year they have both been eyeing the other without taking that first step until a little twist of fate gives them the push that they need.
Love in the Stars is really a lot of fun to read and while it is a work of fiction...it creates a small spark of hope if you haven't found the right person for you. LOL! Both Ashton and Christian have their own personal relationship baggage, but it doesn't really seem to be anything too nasty to make either push pause and say "hold on." I love the relationships that they each have with their siblings and that they are so caring and helpful to each other. The romance level is pretty much spot on and gives readers pretty much everything that they could possibly ask for with this book.
If you love a good romance with lots of steamy then you are going to love this book. I love the hints too of the potential couple(s) to come!! Give me more!! I'm rating this book 5 out of 5 stars! Can't wait for the next!

So get nagged into joining a dating website then find out your match is someone you have been flirting with for over a year but haven’t asked out, well that’s what happened to Christian and Ashton. We all have baggage and so do they, we all have had some sort of relationship pain and heartache, well so have they. I loved this love in the stars storyline and getting to know the characters, feeling their emotions and watching them bit by bit overcome their issues. It’s sad in places, it’s funny as well , oh and don’t forget the hot chemistry and the steam!! A fab read and I look forward to more from this series!

Love in the stars

I absolutely adore this book. It was definitely what I was needing. It will give you all the feels. They knew each other, but neither was really ready to just go for it, but single dating app changed everything.
If you are needing something to just make you feel good, then this is definitely the book for you. I loved every single moment

This is the second book I have read from this author and it is a completely different genre than the first, but it is just as incredible as her other work! This book is a modern contemporary romance that will make you grin, swoon, and will leave you with a goofy smile for the rest of your day.

Ashton is a very successful, independent architect that buries herself in work. Christian is a smoking-hot, successful lawyer that happens to be in the same office building as Ashton. They both are workaholics and they have been flirting for over a year, but both of them have been burned and find it difficult to let their walls down. One night they find themselves at the mercy of fate- or at least their friends and family- and both are signed up to the same dating site. When it comes back that they are a match will they be able to break down those walls and give each other a chance?

I found that this book was a very easy read and one that I didn't want to put down. There are so many silly and wonderful parts that will have you grinning and believing in this couple. There are the cheesy, yet swoon-worthy scenes that make Christian an absolute winner in this book. Ashton is a great character as well, she is a great mix of independent yet slightly wounded which makes her super relatable to everyone that is reading. We also get a healthy mix of supporting characters that you will definitely want to know more about by the end of the book!

There are times that you do find them too good to be true but that is the charm of this story. This book's purpose (well in my opinion) is to take you out of reality for a few hours and lighten your day. It has a few low/sad bits but it's not super heavy and it will put you in a great mood. I find that this book would make for a great summer read and I really look forward to more. I would love to read about more of the characters, and I am assuming that that is the plan of the author. In the meantime, this fast-burn romance is a great read and will distract you from your worries!

Ashton and Christian are both carrying some deep wounds from past relationships. Can they overcome their automatic responses to those old hurts to make their new relationship a success, or will the old “programming” get in the way of them creating something meaningful together? This story is as light and sweet as candy floss or marshmallow fluff, which made it exactly what I needed to read right now. All the characters feel a little bit too good to be true, but that doesn’t stop them from making some really big mistakes. However, I loved seeing them take the necessary steps to fix those mistakes so that I got the happily ever after I needed. Sometimes the fairy tale is just what’s called for, and this book gave my happy heart all the fairy tale feels I wanted.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

I could not get enough of this book. Ashton and Christian have an intense connection but the further along we get in the book, you also find that they have a past and they have to overcome it both on their own and together. This was an instant connection but they don't actually start up anything until a year after they have first met.

I enjoyed the storyline and how they were very open with each other. They may not have wanted to sign up for the dating app, but the stars had other things in mind. I would definitely recommend you read this book. It is full of romance, intrigue, and some very steamy scenes. I can't say too much without giving the storyline away but it is definitely worth the read!

This is a fast-paced, fantasy of a romance. The characters feel a little too good to be true and even comment that about each other in the book. But that is also part of the charm.

If you are looking for a fun read with swoony lines and happy endings, you have come to the right place.

The story gets right to the relationship from the jump and they are hot and heavy as soon as they connect through the app. The tension has been building between them for a year and sparks fly when they finally let themselves break through the thin lines between them.

High heat and a dream boyfriend is just the ticket to escape reality for a few hours. 😉

This was a real sweet contemporary romance. Ashton and Christian have been circling each other for awhile, but after they had both been hurt they just couldn't take the plunge. Thanks to their friends and family giving them the push they need, they finally admitted they liked each other and fireworks exploded. I loved the witty banter between the two and the fact that they hit it off on a dating app. I was a bit sad that Ashton best friend disappeared from the storyline after signing her up for the dating site. He really should have had his chance to give his stamp of approval. Over all a great read.

This romance will make you believe in love and dating sites. This is the story about Ashton and Christian. They are matched on a dating site that matches based on zodiac sign. Turns out they both had already been crushing on each other, they work in the same building. As they get to know each other and fall for each other, their pasts creep up and may just get in the way of their happiness. This book was so swoon worthy. I just adored Ashton and Christian. I really felt their emotion and I was rooting for their happiness. I can't wait for more in this series. There are some side characters I need more from!

Then I totally recommend that you one click this book believe me you won't regret it. I am a big fan of anything to do with astrology and the astrological signs, so I knew I had to read this book! Readers are introduced to Ashton and Christian. They have known each other for some time and felt a connection, but have never acted on it. After matching on a new dating app, they decide to see what will happen next, even though they both haven't had the best relationships in the past. There are a lot of great steamy and heartfelt moments for the two throughout that make this a great read!

Love In The Stars is a sweet, romantic book. Ashton & Christian have both been hurt by past relationships which makes them a bit scared about delving into a new one. Add to that they are both workaholics but they both have an attraction already that they havent acted on. Only for an app that they have been pushed to sign up to takes that out of their hands. My goodness i loved these two characters so much. They are way too cute together and you really believe in their relationship (well i did) that you want them to get a HEA ending. Its pretty steamy. A great read too

This was such a sweet romance. Ashley and Christian have been flirting for months but it isn't until they get matched up on a dating site, they they actually act on their feelings. Both had prioritised work over love after having been hurt in the past.
I enjoyed this book because it wasn't about he 'will they, won't they get together', it was about them working through their past relationships and learning to open up and love someone.
Christian was a sweetheart, the perfect gentleman and Ashley was sweet with her easy-going humour.
Looking forward to more in the series.

A beautiful read! I absolutely loved it! The first in a new series by Young. Our main characters are Ashton and Christian - both wounded and carrying the hurt from past relationships when an app matches them together. A smooth flowing storyline with great balance of sweet and steam with some laughs and tears thrown in. This book gave me all the feel goods with characters that will captivate. This read will not disappoint!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A sweet contemporary romance written among the stars.

Christian and Ashton have been flirting with each other for over a year. Neither have taken it to the next level. Both have previous baggage from past relationships and want nothing to do with them. What happens when their friends sign them up on a dating app and when the stars aligned, Ash and Christian end up being matched?

Christian and Ash are so good together. I loved this story. Love in the Stars is lighthearted, a little sad, and full of smexy times. A definite must read.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

This is fast paced romance that us sure to delight fans of the genre. We meet Ashton and Christian two people that have had a crush on each other but never had the nerve to say anything to the other one. Each of them sign up for dating app which matches them leading to the opening they have been waiting for. Things progress quickly after that as they fall in love. Makes for a great romance as it all plays out. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

As always, this author has written an amazing story—one that had me wanting more the entire time. I absolutely loved Ashton and Christian! They both have pasts that haunt them and make it difficult for them to move on, but together they are able to find happiness and love in the least expected way.

If I could I would give this WAY more than five stars! I hope to see more of these characters in the near future!

This was a great quick read! Ashton has a past full of heartache and she's become a workaholic to help ignore her past. Christian is the hot lawyer that works in the office next to Ashton's. They flirt but nothing more until a dating website matches them based on their astrological signs. Cancer and Taurus are a match made in heaven! Will Ashton take the bait and go on a date with the sexy lawyer? Read to find out!

This is such a heart warming lovely story. Ashton and Christian are both dealing with past hurts from previous relationships, their flirting doesn't go beyond that and nothing happens.

They both sign up for a dating app and are obviously mat he'd to each other. Their journey is sweet and funny and totally absorbing, it makes you feel their emotions so deeply.

It was a wonderful light hearted read, that I didn't want to put down.

Sweet, steamy and fun

This was a sweet, steamy story. After flirting for a year, friends sign Ashton and Christian up for a new dating app, which is the nudge they need to take it to the next step. The characters are fun and realistic, they both have baggage to deal with, which provides the central conflict in the story. There are also some fun side characters, who I hope get their own stories and HEAs!

Taken her love of romance to the stars

Emma, an architect, and Christian, a lawyer, have been orbiting each other for the past year. As the story progresses a challenge is given, a surprise match is driven, and letting the past not affect them is harder done than thought. Jenn D. Young has taken her love of romance to the stars in this first book of her contemporary romance series. She does an amazing job bringing her characters to life and allowing them to stumble into as well as in their relationships.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Awe……this has all the feels!

This book has all the feels! Ashton and Christian are written in the stars. Al least that is what their online dating profile says. Ashton has previous baggage from her last relationship and she is not sure if she can fully commit to a relationship. Christian has almost the same baggage. This story moves beautifully and smoothly. I loved these characters and the storyline.

I loved this swoony romance! Ashton and Christian work in the same building and have been crushing on each other for a year. Christians meddling sisters and Ashtons equally meddling best friend sign them up to a dating site..... It was quite a light read, a little emotion, a little angst, a little steam, nothing too heavy and a perfect read for a nice summers day. I was glad to see that Mac and Tia are going to get their own story and I would like to see one for Emma too? I live in hope!

Love in the Stars by Jenn D. Young is the first book in the Signs of Love Series. I loved this book! It's sweet, sad, funny, basically really, human. The premise is great. Two people who seem to like each other, the flirting just stays at that...until they get matched up on a dating app. I love how they grow into this relationship. I'm definitely looking forward to more from this writer and this series!

Ashton and Christian
I love this story, these two characters have so much chemistry. Two people that are successful in business but not so much in personal relationships. Once they start dating it all seems too good to be true. Christian however is so hot and teasing he makes you melt. Of course what would a good story be without a shoe drop. No spoilers! I highly recommend this book 1 to the series.

Brilliant read.
Ashton has not had an easy romantic life and love does not come easy especially when she is unable to trust again. but her Best friend Marco is determined to make her meet her match and signs her up to a dating app. Ashton is determined not to get on with the app and blow it all off until she sees a face she recognises and just cant help herself.
Brilliant read. Cant wait for the next book.

A truly enjoyable romance, sometimes a girl just needs something that brightens the day and this story did that for me. The characters were well thought out and that kept me turning pages and wanting to read on through. I LOVED THIS! Sometimes we just need a sign.

I don't read much m/f romance but this one is so good. I love that the leading caracters have some issues they need to overcome but love finds them in a way they didn't expect. I enjoy this book because the caracters are relatable and feel real. It gives me all the vibes I expect in a love story and this one made me smile from ear to ear and made my heart float.
