Here comes the bride. My bride. She just doesn’t know it yet…
I've carved my name into this world by taking what I want. Born into the streets and raised on brutality and violence, it was the Bratva that took me and made me a man.
I decided years ago that there was no room for beauty or goodness in my life. But that goes out the window when temptation falls right into me; literally right into me, and right into my bed.
Zoey Stone is a sweetness I’ve never tasted and a softness these rough hands have never touched before. The pretty little rich girl’s had all the right friends, gone to all the right schools, and played by all the right rules. That is, until she met me.
It should have been a one time thing. But when I learn her father’s promised her to another man to cement a business agreement, there’s no way in hell I’m walking away.
Touching her was wrong. Doing it again could start a war. But I saw her first. I tasted her first. I claimed her first.
Like I said, I take what I want. No mercy, no weakness, no hesitation, and no damn way is she marrying some other man.
Zoey’s been mine since the second I laid eyes on her. And I’ll do anything to keep what’s mine.
...Even if that means stealing her from her very own wedding.
Heads up! This full-length Bratva captive romance novel is guaranteed to leave your kindle steaming! Safe, absolutely no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a perfect happy ever after.
A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.
Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.
When not writing or reading romance books, he can be found woodworking, enjoying good whiskey, and grilling outside—rain or shine.
This one I had a love hate relationship with Zoey.. and her push/pull I don't get her she didn't even wanna marry chet.. but was so ugh when trying to escape Lev for "kidnapping" her lol. Like this man who was your one night stand saved you from marrying this douche and you complain about it heck your bff Fiona (girl in book 1) offered to help you.. So yeah she did annoy me alot.
As for Lev I really liked him he was yummy and growly and boy he had some of his own past demons but he never let them drag him down. Now he has to keep himself and Zoey alive from the danger he sorta caused when be kidnapped his woman.. ans some twist and secerts are revealed.
No ow drama slight on drama,No cheating, drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, no virgins or manwhore (she was a virgin in the flashbacks)

Conclusion: Again I can definitely tell this is one of his earlier works. However I really wanted to read his books in his recommended reading order. So I’m making myself suffer for this 😂. Luckily these books are fairly short. There really wasn’t anything that good in the story. It was very insta love surface level. One thing jagger Cole is good at writing even in his early writing career is 🌶️. There was one good surprise in this book that I wasn’t expecting. Had my eyes going 😧.
So even though I don’t even really like this series you’ll be seeing me continue to read it 😂.
I’m trying to read Jagger Cole’s books in the correct order but man I am not loving these older books. I’ve heard they get better though so I’m going to stick with them.
I enjoyed this second book in the series very much. It was extremely entertaining and addictive. Liked the characters and all they entailed. This book had me reading it quickly and eager for more.
💝ARC kindly provided by author, in exchange for an honest review.💝
people who have rated this book a 5 star deserve to be put in jail and i’ll tell you why; THIS book isn’t it, it’s ridiculous in so many ways and it’s the same retelling of a mafia story.
girl gets kidnapped but she also gets kidnapped from her wedding though she does NOT want to get married to the other guy since he’s like a bad person.
but that’s not why i gave this book a one star lmao. it’s the misspellings from me like how the hell are there that many? did this dude not get an editor or something or he did and the editor was blind as fuck😭..?
another thing is that the mmc keeps growling.. idk wtf to imagine when authors write down about a man growling…
”I think you’re more of a Beast.” ”I am your beast,” he growls. uhm yeah… i AM scared.
another thing it was stated in the book he knows the other character kevin right? then the next chapter he says he’s never met him and i am sitting here like “what the fuck are you talking about?” you either met the man or not dude.
honestly this book was ridiculous, i hate both the mmc and fmc but you wanna know what? my dumbass just might read the next book of the series, i am not a quitter at all.
Mi-a placut Lev! Nu mi-a placut atat de mult atitudinea lui Zoey fata de el,mi-a părut copilăroasă și iritanta chiar în unele circumstanțe! Happy-end garantat!🦋
You spend one sex fueled night with a gorgeous stranger and the next thing you know, you’re being kidnapped by him at your own wedding. Like, what gives him the right? But geez freakin’ Louise was Lev hot as fire in this book. I mean, I would happily say, “how do you want this whole captive thing to work...because I’m game with whatever.” I cannot get enough of Cole’s insta-love stories. Give me them all!!
Fantastic story, kindle melting romance, and suspense of what will happen next to Lev and Zoey...THE BRATVA’S STOLEN BRIDE was amazing!! 5 Stars!!
1.75⭐. I’m not bored, but there are so many bits that make me pause and wonder what exactly I’m reading. The funny thing is, I’m still going to keep reading the series because I literally can’t stop.
Alright I bow to Jagger's skills. He gets me every time with these darker edgier romances. If it says bratva, mafia, etc. and has his name attached I'm reading it.
I was hoping we'd get Zoey's story...and it was worth the wait! A little kidnapping, a little frying pan action (thing Tangled bahahaha) and of course some Bratva action tossed into this hot as h*ll romance to roll it all into a freaking fantastic read.
There were some twists and turns...some I saw coming, others I did not...but leave it to Jagger to pull it off with a "tidy" HEA.
He's hooked me. I'm a devoted reader. I bow to his writing skills.
Good book but if the writer would have used a thesaurus it would have been more stars. I was so tired of the author stating Lev growled and chuckled... was he suppose to be below average, retarded or something. Then all Zoey did was gasp after EVERYTHING, like come on really...you couldn't find any other words in the English language to replace your over usage of the words: growl, gasp, chuckle! These words were through the ENTIRE book and seemingly their action after everything. Glad its over and I say that as I growl, gasp and chuckle!
Lev and Zoey steam up the pages. From the moment Lev saw Zoey he wanted her. Zoey was supposed to marry another but Lev stole her. Now that Lev has her what will he do with her. Zoey is attracted to the man who has taken her. She wants to feel his lips and arms around her but first she wants to play hard to get. The only problem is Lev has stolen her from the wrong person. Will they both survive to be together? Their chemistry is instantaneous. I didn't want this story to end.
Can’t stop. Won’t stop. Loving every minute of devouring this backlist. Lev has been tasked with watching over a young girl. Buuuut this task ain’t all that bad when he ends up fucking her all over her apartment after “checking on her.” Zoey is a firecracker and even though she knows she shouldn’t want Lev, he’s all she can think about, even when she’s supposed to be marrying another man. But let’s be honest, made men take what they want. This one was another fun time and I immediately ran to download book three.
what you can expect : • mafia / bratva • kidnapping • forced proximity • runaway bride-ish • virgin
A must read!!! I enjoyed this book so much. Hands down the best mafia series I have read. Each book stands on its own. The romance and action is perfection. I love the pacing of Jagger Cole books, he moves the story at such a great pace and I just can't put his books down. I feel that each book in the series gets constantly better then the pervious book.
Speak now or forever hold your peace, they say? Well, I’m about to fucking roar.
This is the story of Lev and Zoey. They had a steamy ONS a few weeks earlier when Lev is informed, she's getting married. Zoey’s dad wants to merge his company (KRV Financial) with another, (Adonis Capital) and Zoey is to come with the deal. She has like 24hours (no idea how they pulled off a wedding that quick) to marry Chet (Adonis Cap son) a skeevy serial roofie date rapist. Lev is I guess the #2, but really co-leader of the same Bratva. He decides to “kidnap” Zoey from her wedding, which starts a shit storm because Chet’s family has ties to another Chicago Bratva.
I couldn’t get into this, but the “warring Bratva” part has just kicked in, so maybe it would have improved if I’d stuck with it. It’s not dark, Lev seemed like a pretty ok dude with a abusive past. There’s no force except to pick her up like a sack of potatoes at the wedding. My biggest struggle was Zoey. I couldn’t get a feel for her at all. One minute she’s reminiscing about Lev while dreading the marriage. The next she’s upset because he rescued her. (which she calls kidnapping) She escapes because the kidnapping isn’t ok, but then sleeps with him the minute she’s back with him. She was a virgin before the ONS, but portrays herself as a socialite skank. (why, no idea)
Bottom Line- There’s some editing issues. It’s a smidge choppy jumping from past to present, and the h had an identity crisis of sorts. It’s free to read with KU.

Zoey is the daughter of a powerful man who does business with unscrupulous people, and for that very reason, she is now forced to marry the playboy and useless son of a great businessman. Although Zoey was reputed to be a modern girl and very flirtatious, in fact she had a secret: it was all a disguise. She wanted her colleagues/friends to think she was cool, but, deep down, she was a big romantic. And being forced to marry like that only made her cynicism towards the world increase.
But to everyone's surprise, Zoey doesn't even show up at the altar. She is kidnapped minutes before the ceremony.
Lev, Viktor Komanov's right-hand man, was in charge of watching Zoey because there was a situation where she had a stalker after her. And she was the best friend of Viktor's wife. But Lev and Zoey end up having a torrid night, and when he finds out she was being forced to marry, he decides to kidnap her.
But then Zoey's marriage to the son of the mighty businessman brings up more secrets than she would like to know, about her father... and Lev's past.
The plot is interesting, but there are several unexplained gaps throughout the narrative. Their romance is not convincing, becoming just something for the moment (instant love), without chemistry between the couple. I really like mafia books (Italian, Russian, whatever), but this one didn't convince me. 3 stars
OMG! Jagger has done it once again. He is excellent at the shorter books and just as excellent at the longer books. Russian Mafia, corrupt businessmen, being forced to marry a stranger, that is just part of this amazing story. The chemistry is hot, the storyline is awesome. I strongly recommend you read this book!!

I swear only Jagger can take any topic and turn it hot and steamy. This book was amazing, as they all are. I recommend you read every one of his books.
Lev, second in command in the Kashenko Bratva Chicago branch to Viktor Komarov. Tasked with ensuring the safety of Viktor's fiance's best friend, Zoey Stone.
An ill-fated business deal goes gloriously south bringing a very personal war to Lev's door causing them both to go on the run and into hiding. Lots of steam with a bit of drama and a twist in this quick read; only took a couple hours all told.
Another smashing hit by this author!! Zoey has basically been living a lie all for social status. Lev is tasked with looking after her at the request of his boss’s woman. Later, Lev steals her from her own arraigned wedding and this is where the fun begins. Mafia hitmen, arranged marriages, socialites gone wild, corrupt businessmen and a sexy AF second-in command makes for a wild story!!
A good story about Zoey who is stolen from her own arranged wedding by the man she gave herself to three weeks ago. She can’t stop thinking about him... and guess what? He can’t stop thinking about her either. So when he finds out it’s her wedding day, he kidnaps her. Too bad she acts like she doesn’t want to be kidnapped.
