Read the book if you're looking for Binky too! The baby wants you to help him find his Binky. A tough task it will be! Because you've no idea who Binky is.

My 2 ½ year old son, who gave up his own binky about six months ago, absoltutely loves this book. He picked it out of the library on his own and asked me to read it three times the first day and is now "reading" it aloud himself. He was already a fan of the author's "Yummy and Yucky" book. It's very cute, and I enjoy reading it to him. This was probably an even better book for him because, given his own past binky addiction, he could relate very well to the whole pathos and drama of losing and finding binky.

Simple plot that parents and kids can relate to a little too well. Bright colors and clear illustrations with a touch of humor. A winner.

y’all, i’m just throwing my reading challenge away because i was never gonna make it anyway after totally lapsing during the first three months of my move. so free from the chains of the infamous goodreads reading challenge, i’m gonna use goodreads for what i want! to keep track of ALL the books i read, including some kids books i read with my cousins. here’s to fighting the system!
anyway, i wanted to include this book because my 19 month old cousin LOVES it. she basically knows all the words and doesn’t usually put more than two words together. plus you can make it extra dramatic and it’s hilarious.

We're so proud of you for reading "Binky"! You learned something really important – sometimes we have to say goodbye to things we love when we grow bigger, and that's okay. Just like the baby in the story, you're learning to be brave and try new things! Maybe when something feels hard to let go, you can remember this book and know you're growing up strong. You did such a wonderful job reading! We love you so much!

This is actually SO much fun to read and I was surprised. The kids enjoyed telling me whether or not it was "under the chair" or wherever we were looking on a certain page. I think it suits the Books & Babies age a lot better than the 3/4/5 storytime, but if there was a similar book idea for an older group it would be great.

The toddler has lost his binky and goes to look for it everywhere. It is a cute story we are all familiar with I like the illustrations.

Both my kids (ages 1 and 4) are really into this author's books right now. We've checked this one out of the library several times, and there are others along similar lines that they like just as much. Of course, I'm the one that's had to read them over and over. They're pretty simple, but that is probably part of their appeal, as well as the very believable toddler behavior depicted. Some of them might even teach a thing or two. This one is fun to read with a lot of emotion at the end. It has a happy ending, and definitely brings reminders of our own household searches for important missing items.

This was read at story time today. I thought this story was cute. The baby is looking for his (or it could be a her, I guess) binky. What makes it cute was the places the baby looks - like dumping out cereal and looking in the potty. The end was good too because the binky was in the crib, where baby likes it best. This would be really great for enforcing to a child that a pacifier is just for bed time. (In fact, one little girl at story time got up to tell everyone that she has a binky for bed time).

This book is one that I read over and over again every day because my baby loves it so much. As an adult I can relate to the baby looking for his binky because my baby uses one too and every day there's one point where we're looking for it especially when he's tired! The illustrations are simple and basic but very sweet and colorful. If your baby loves books, these are great because they're easy to understand and might even teach your little one something.

My daughter was a true binky baby. Everywhere she went...so did her lil comfort pal. This story was such a winner with her, for not only was it cute in story, but she was able to relate to it as well.

Easily one of my daughter's favorite books ever. As I read to her, she answers all the "where's binky" questions, and then throws her head back like the character and screams "WHERE'S BINKY?!?!?!" It's hilarious!

We don't use a binky so some of the humor may have been lost. I liked the pictures and the use of bright blocks of color. We would read this again.
