Akari y Hayashida conocieron a Shimada durante la fiesta de verano del barrio de Sangatsu, y ahora, sin quererlo, cada uno de ellos se encuentra en un momento crucial de su vida. En el torneo Tôyô Open que se disputa en agosto, Nikaidô se propone convertirse en "el hombre que derrotó a Sôya Meijin". About the author

Chica Umino (Jap: 羽海野チカ) is a Japanese mangaka.
Her real name is not disclosed, "Umino Chica" is a pen name.

She began work as a product designer and illustrator.
Umino has a unique drawing style, listing Studio Ghibli amongst her influences, and her characters are remarkably well-developed.

Her most famous series to date is Hachimitsu to Clover (English name: Honey and Clover), a 'slice of life' manga series which debuted in 2000 in Shueisha's manga magazine, CUTiEcomic. The series won the Kodansha Manga Award in 2003 and was nominated for the Tezuka Culture Prize and an award from the Japan Media Arts Festival. It was also adapted into an animated television series in 2005, a live-action movie in 2006 and two individual live-action TV series in 2008.

Her ongoing recent series is Sangatsu no Lion (English name: March comes in like a lion), which began serialization in 2007. The series won several important prizes including: the Manga Taisho prize and Kodansha Manga Prize (general audience) in 2011, the Tezuka Osamushi Cultural Prize in 2014, and the Bunkacho Media Geijutsusai Manga bumon in 2021.

Umino has also provided the illustration for the 2009 anime series Eden of the East by Kenji Kamiyama, as well as 'Tobira o Akete' and the Glass Heart series, including 'Boukensha-tachi', 'Netsu no Shiro' and 'Love Way'.

A few characters from the earlier volume return after having been missing in these pages for so long. Especially Harunobu, he gets the match of a lifetime with the Meijin. It was pretty good to see them again.

Lý do mình rất yêu truyện này có lẽ chính là, trong hoàn cảnh bạn muốn bỏ cuộc nhất, bạn phát hiện ra niềm hạnh phúc nho nhỏ được giấu ở đâu đó xung quanh, thuộc về riêng bạn. Bạn dùng nó tự chữa lành vết thương và tiếp tục cuộc hành trình, tin tưởng và yêu thương ngược lại.

 Chúng ta thấy may mắn khi “ước mơ trở thành hiện thức”, thấy hạnh phúc khi có một sinh mạng để ngày mai còn được sống và thi đấu mà không hề nhận ra rằng, hiện tại mới thực sự là điều kì diệu. Nó được sinh ra từ tầng tầng lớp lớp vận may đến tê dại.

 Tôi đã chao đảo, quay cuồng vì những so sánh giữa bản thân với người khác… Vậy mà khi ở đây, cái tâm lý so sánh ấy chẳng hề xuất hiện, điều đó khiến tôi cũng có chút bất ngờ. Được ăn những món ngon và ở bên cạnh những cô gái vui vẻ này, buổi tối của tôi dường như đã được cứu rỗi…

Cách mà Akari nhớ về kí ức khi bố đỡ tay cô khi còn nhỏ rất chân thật. Tôi cảm thấy đồng cảm rất nhiều, cảm tình của con người không phải lúc nào cũng rạch ròi. Dù biết rõ người bố rất tồi tệ và mình đã cắt đứt không còn quan hệ gì nữa, nhưng đôi khi những kí ức xưa cũ về người đó vẫn hiện ra trong tâm trí và nó vẫn ảnh hưởng tới mình bằng một cách nào đó, dù ít dù nhiều.

Tôi mong rằng cô ấy cuối cùng sẽ có được sự đủ đầy và bình yên trong tâm trí.

Hayashida, el ex profesor de Rei, va a ver a Akari al bar en que trabaja, al mismo tiempo que Shimada. Por otro lado, Nikaido se enfrenta al Meijin Sôya, en un torneo rápido de shogi. Excelente tomo en que también la hermana de Rei, Kyoko, se redime un poco.
