A Great Science Fiction Novel!
I picked up this book via kindle because the title seemed interesting, and was not disappointed! The novella concerns a story set in the far future, in an alternative timeline where the Roman Empire never dissolved, and went on to forge a solar empire.
It contains themes of classical philosophy as well as plenty of action. If I was to liken it to a sub genre I would say Sword and Sorcery fits best. It’s short, but leaves open the possibility of a sequel, which I will eagerly read if the author releases one.

Very odd.
I totally got lost with this right from the start. I love my sci-fi but this was just a bit too far out for me.

A great, and admittedly out there, take on what the Roman Empire would be if it continued far into the future. It reminds me a lot of a mixture of Warhammer 40k and classic myths, rolled into one fantastic package.

The Dream God
Was not expecting what I just read. Absolutely bloody fantastic. Is this a story, a work of fiction? It reads like the testament of someone who has witnessed a miracle. A hoped for future rebirth. Hail Thoth.

Harkening back to the glory days of pulp sci-fi. Still reading, can't put it down.
