Something was coming and everyone in town felt it, not just the chosen group she’d found herself part of in the last few months. She knew how important everyone's roles where in the next few weeks, but with the disappearance of Breanna, fate may have just taken a huge turn. For the worse. Jacob has completely lost it. That’s the only explanation for what he’d been going through. And now, suddenly he’s found himself inexplicably drawn to Jess. But these new desires he felt for her were stronger than the need to breathe. What new powers did this witch hold over him? But more importantly, was there a chance they would survive the upcoming horrors?

Jill comes from a large family with six siblings, including an identical twin. She was raised in the Pacific Northwest and later relocated to Colorado for college and a successful IT career before discovering her talent for writing sweet and sexy page-turners. After Colorado, she decided to move south, living in Texas and now making her home along the Emerald Coast of Florida. You will find that the settings of several of her series are inspired by her time spent living in these areas. She has two sons and off-set the testosterone in her house by adopting three furry little ladies that provide her company while she’s locked in her writing cave. She enjoys heading to the beach, hiking, swimming, wine-tasting, and pickleball with her husband, and of course writing. If you have read any of her books, you may also notice that there is a love of food, especially sweets! She has been blamed for a few added pounds by her assistant, editor, and fans… donuts or pie anyone?
This was an interesting series. The plot was super creative and though I thought it was bizarre, it was a good story. I listened to the series via Audible audiobook and the narrator was okay. He was not good with female voices nor a Southern accent.
So, the end of the world didn’t happen and the 6 heroes working together made that happen and it did have a satisfactory ending, no one was really sad about the loss of one of the characters. And the powers that everyone had were truly awesome, except for Mike, he didn’t do much of anything, or it was so little or so inconsequential that I can’t remember it. But with Jess being a powerful witch, Xtina reading everything about a person just by touching and Ethan being an amazing healer no one else was worth talking about, with the exception of Jess’s mother, she seemed evil throughout the story then ended up helping to save the world.
I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy but that still doesn’t mean I like cliffhangers, as this was.
There was explicit sex in this but no swearing to speak of. Personally, I’d rather have the swearing instead of the graphic sex when reading a cliffhanging mystery.
As to the narration: This was supposed to be a thrilling conclusion but I gotta tell ya’ Roy Samuelson did a really poor job of narrating this book. No matter how intense or exciting or loud or stressful anyone and everyone was he read in a bland and monotone voice. It was soooo disappointing.
I would have never thought that a paranormal mystery/romance was my cup of tea. I'd be very wrong in this case. I'm thrilled that this author ventured into the paranormal! This is the third book in a paranormal mystery/romance trilogy and it was great. Each book recounts the events that have happened and then continues the story a bit further from a different couple's perspective. If someone told me this, I would have thought that it was a redundant re-telling. I would have been extremely wrong. Each perspective fills in missing info and events that fell into the timeline and then carried the story a bit further. I must say kudos to this author and certainly hope she keeps delving into this genre further. I would definitely read more of these type of books should she decide to write them.
Love this book.it is as by as the first two .I am so grateful everything works out all of them. Will read this series again and again.keep up the excellent work.
I like Jill Sanders writing, so I took a chance on something very different! I did not enjoy it, although there were some interesting moments! The fellowship of the witches was special! It seemed to me the details of the supernatural power and vision unclear and deliberately vague! I finished the book but found the final confrontation to be anticlimatic. If your this is your type of adventure, you'll probably enjoy it!
This book the third in the series, gives you Jess and Jacob's back story. They both gre up in Hidden Creek, and Jess had a crush on Jacob as long as she could remember.
We are then brought back up to date, going over some of the scenes from the previous books, from Jess' point of view and filling in the gaps.
Great story, taking us to the great task the group of friends had to do to save the world.

The Ascension is Book 3 in the Entangled Series. This is Jessie's and Jacob's story.. The first 9 or 10 chapters rehash book 1 and 2 from their viewpoint. We do learn more about Jess and her secrets. This book does finish the story started in book 1 and is not a cliffhanger ending even though there are more books in the series.

Wow I am glad that's over! It took a long time for them to "figure it out" but they did and saved the day. If you have not been reading the series in order you will be lost so that kinda sucks. I was hoping for something more or different but it is what it is - gods and myths. Kinda felt let down a bit though. Where do they go from here? Well I guess we will see in the next book!
This book was absolutely amazing. Another page turner. I finally got to read who and what was causing all the drama and problems. I really liked Jacob, he sounds only yummy as does his brothers. The 3 women were all great female leads. Excellent book.
This storyline begins with Jess. It goes in the past to when Jess was abandoned by her parents to the present where Brea is still missing. The pieces begin to fall into place as they frantically work to save the world.
Book 3 in a series of amazingly written stories, came full circle. Full of all the feels! The Entangled Series is a must-read from the amazing Jill Sanders.
Fabulous series! Wonderful funny characters that you will fall in the with while reading this series. I look forward to the next book. I highly recommend this series.
A great end to this trilogy. I was waiting for this book because the second book kind of left us with a cliffhanger. I was not disappointed. Jess has loved Jacob for most of her life and has decided that if her fate is as she sees it in her visions, she is going to grab onto life and live it. Her parents, who abandoned her when she was 13, are back and things are not what she thought. They need to finish this whole thing and Jess isn't sure if they will live through it. She has so many reasons to live and she can only hope that they do enough. Jacob would do anything to protect Jess and the others, so he has to figure out a plan B to make sure they all come out of this alive. Will it be enough?
Jessica Sorenson whom we found out came from a family of witches was tired of fighting a losing battle when it came to her attraction to the arrogant and sexy sheriff Jacob. She'd fantasized about the man for years but acted like she hated him. With everything that had been going on in Hidden Creek and the disappearance of Breanna (THE BECKONING) Jess was ready to fight fate as well.
Jacob St. Clair, sheriff of Hidden Creek and brother of Micheal (THE AWAKENING) and Ethan (THE BECKONING) didn'tknow how to explain the attraction he felt towards Jessica . In his mind she had bewitched him that's the only explanation he came up with but it was more than that.
Jacob and Jess were destined to be together like Michael/Xtina and Ethan/Breanna were. The little circle of six has been experiencing some supernatural things for the past few weeks. All those happenings were connected to the entity that's been living in Michael's house.
Jess, the Kincaid brothers and Xtina worked hard to stop the destruction that was heading their way. They made sure they got Breanna back as well and took care of the one that started all the chaos in their lives.
THE ASCENSION is the third book in Jill Sanders' ENTANGLED series. It was breathtaking, fascinating, thrilling, suspenseful and heartwarming. Jill Sanders did an outstanding job. 5++++
I read all three books back to back and absolutely totally LOVED them all. All three books were full of mystery, suspense, romance, sex and just overall enchanting. The characters and how they all entwined was interesting and there were twists and turns throughout.
Great read! Wraps up the trilogy well. You will not be disappointed. The characters are well developed and likeable. The story is unique and interesting. A must read!
The Ascension is thrilling, unexpected read in one sitting while chewing your nails good. Makes you want to start at book one all over again. Would highly recommend to everyone.
THE ASCENSION (Entangled Series #3) AUTHOR: JILL SANDERS
Five Stars
Jill Sanders has always been a favorite author of mine. I know when I read one of her books it is going to be interesting, the writing brilliant and her characters amazing. She is truly an author that is at the top of her game.
THE ASCENSION is no different! Paranormal is not normally my genre of choice, but Jill did a marvelous job drawing me into the story and keeping me captivated. You definitely need to read these books in order or you lose out on a lot of background that is important to the story. ASCENSION is a great ending to this phenomenal trilogy. Jessica and Jacob have a very complicated relationship to say the least. Their story will definitely keep you sitting on the edge of your seat.
Give paranormal a chance with this series. It might just change your mind.
