So before I get started I just wanna give a huge shout out to Nicole Jacquelyn in the form of two words:

description

For those of you who don't speak uber excited rabid fangirl, lemme translate:

description

Thank you for finally writing a book in this series that didn't do the whole flashback whack BULLshit that makes me literally wanna stab a bitch.

For those who know me, they know I fucking HATE this.

And because I want to explain the whole flashback whack phenomenon for those not in the crazy Val know - and yet feel lazier than a sloth on Xanax today - I borrowed the below explanation from my review of book three of this books sister series, Craving Constellations:

Just like the last book in this series, Craving Redemption, this book started off with a bang. It drew you in with an awesomely exciting prologue that made you all giggly and fangirly inside about the awesome book you were about to read.

But then?

description

Fuck you, dear reader, we are now going to let that carrot of a cliffhanger dangle while we totally leave you in the lurch and rewind this VHS tape.

description

I hate this. I hate when authors do this. Especially when the build up to the moment-you-now-already-know-is-coming falls short of the mark, which sadly to say was the case here for me on this one.

But this time?

BAM!

Normal fucking time progression.

And the choir that lives in my head fucking sang, people.

description

In fact, it sang so loudly and I felt so grateful that I even overlooked the complete and utter excuse also known as this books ending.

Because for real, this book HAD no ending it was so abrupt.

But, in light of the lack of flashback bullshit trade off?

description

Other than that, like I said, I really enjoyed this book.

And believe me - after the disastrous events that made up Craving Trix - I wasn't really confident this book would pan out for me.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't perfect. Will did some dumbass shit that made me wanna #headdesk like a secretary in a mosh pit of office cubicles, but overall I really enjoyed the story line itself and I simply love these characters.

Looking forward to more of this series.

Overall Opinion: This is a tough one to rate without going full rant. I have read many books that have things such as infidelity, long separations with other partners, and strong push/pulls -- but they've never really ticked me off like this one! I'm not exactly sure why it bothered me so much, but I didn't want the h with the H in the end! I personally didn't feel secure at all that the H wouldn't decide that they were "unfit" and go cold with the h again after all the bs he pulled...and that was a huge issue for me.

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Molly and Will's story. They've grown up together, and they've always been attracted to one another. Will pursues Molly at a bar one night and they connect in a way that neither of them can deny. Molly has a daughter with special needs, and Will recognizes that she is "old lady" material and he is not sure if he is ready for that step. They then spend some significant time together and fall in love. There is some club drama, some personal stuff that they need to get over, some sexy times, and some sad moments...but they get a HFN ending.

POV: This alternated between Molly and Will's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Ok. There are some time jumps with the separations, with not that much mention of what had gone on during them. There is also an abrupt ending with them getting together after a long separation in the last chapter with a few HEA comments in some paragraphs at the very end. I hated that.

Instalove: No. They've know each other since they were kids, and I think that they develop into feelings of love over a period of time.

H rating: 1 star. Will. I had huge issues with his hot/cold act. He strung the h along to just hurt her! (See push/pull, OW/OM drama, and cheating spoilers below for more reasons I disliked him)

h rating: 3 stars. Molly. I liked her relationship with her daughter and the side characters. I just wanted her to have more backbone with the H! She was definitely tiptoeing that "doormat" line.

Sadness level: Low/moderate. I cried some, but never needed any tissues.

Push/Pull: Yes

Heat level: Moderate. They have some hot chemistry and scenes.

Descriptive sex: Yes

Safe sex: Yes. Condoms used until birth control and std status talk.

OW/OM drama: Yes

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: Not technically

Separation: Yes

Possible Triggers: Yes

Closure: This didn't have enough closure for me at all. There were a few paragraphs with jump ahead moments in them that would suggest a HEA ending. I personally didn't feel all that secure in their relationship, so I would deem it a HFN -- but others might be fine with calling it a HEA.

How I got it: It was part of my kindle unlimited subscription.

Safety: Safe with exception/Not safe for some

Spoilers ahead

As I'm still on my single parent kick someone recommended this book to me, thankfully I've learned to read reviews before starting ANY book.....I've been burned too many times!

My biggest issues here

Push/pull for a lot of the book
2 separations of 3 weeks and then 18 months
During the second separation he's intimate with OW, not only that but the h sees him happy and laughing with OW......the worst part? He claimed he loved the h and was planning to go after her.....ummmm when??? After his detour to otherpussyland?
The blurb claims..... "Unfortunately for Will, a strong woman like Molly doesn't forgive easily" Lies! She accepts his bs way too easily. He needed to crawl before he earns forgiveness especially as she's also letting him back into her child's life!

The most despicable for me is that during the separation he not only ghosted the h but her child! For me if a single parent introduces you to her child you better respect that Fucking choice AND treat it like the honor it is!!!

Nope, this definitely ain't it!

This series, gahhhh! I really flipping ADORE this series. I can't get enough. Also, Will and Molly were cute! They had some very cute and sexy moments that had me swooning! But I have to admit that Will annoyed me a lot. There were several things that just didn't endear him to me. I did like this book wayyyy more than Trix's book, though. So yay!

2.5 ROUNDED TO 3 STARS, BUT MOSTLY 2.5. #sorrynotsorry #spoilersabound

I think the only thing I genuinely liked about this book is probably Molly and her beautiful daughter, Rebel. Molly's relationship with her daughter was what saved this book for me and I think the author did a wonderful job in showing her struggles as a mom with a special needs kid. Rebel's characteristics, likes and dislikes are pretty much on point. I loved that.

Besides the zero to none relationship build-up that really annoyed me, I couldn't find it in myself to like Will. He called Molly a bitch, like maybe two or three times in the book and it pretty much bugged me until the end of it. I'm sorry but I really hate it when Heroes call the their woman a bitch, even if in the fit of anger. Especially if the woman has legitimate excuse for being a "bitch".

Also he sexed her up and left her to dust (when she needed him the most), came back for her, the heroine told him to leave (for good reasons) and he fucking did. He left her without grovelling for 18 months, just like that. Also he fucked a "friend" after their separation and everything's all dandy because it didn't mean anything!!! It's irrelevant!!! According to him!!! Sorry but I would have drop his ass in a heartbeat. But NOOO. She had to take him back. So damn, weak. I'm ashamed.

And lastly, what kind of ending is that? It's anticlimatic and a huge disappointment. I mean I would have accepted it if it was an epilogue but nope.

Not a fan of Will- or the summarized ending wrap up of their relationship. I wouldn't want to be involved in that.

I really didn't like Melanie, Molly's BFF.

==>Re-read on 30 April 2017
--------
Molly has a little girl with special needs and works as a nurse at the hospital. She is a single mother and a very nice person.
Will has a mind fucked up because he feels guilty about the deaths of family members because he was using steroids and got involved with drug dealers.
Will treats Molly of unforgivable manner and they only meet again because her father who is the Club's lawyer is murdered and she is attacked by assassins.
Will abandoned not only Molly but her little girl too and she remained by calling his name every day for a whole year and don't understand his absence. It was sad to read the scenes in which she speaks his name because she has trouble speaking because of her health problems.
In the end Molly forgive very quickly and already spreads her legs for him and everything is fine again.
==>Highlights<==
“I mean, if you wreck this murdercycle, a helmet like this isn’t going to help you.” “Murdercycle?” he asked, smiling as he buckled the helmet.

She wasn’t out fucking randoms. She wasn’t a barfly. The woman was a single parent and had a good job. She was old lady material. Wife material. Fuck.

Hell, I probably never would have looked at her again if I hadn’t seen her at the hospital. Even in a bar, my eyes would have slid right past her.

“Remember that, ladies. Drink water and moisturize.”
“Once a beautician, always a beautician,” Farrah said loftily. “We’re like the Marines.”

A man and a woman got off, and my stomach sunk in realization. Will’s hair was longer than it had been when we were together, and it was tied back in a super short ponytail at the base of his neck. A few strands fell forward as he pulled off his helmet, and he unconsciously brushed them behind his ears as he laughed at something the woman said. I glanced at her and my stomach rolled. She was pretty. Long brown hair that looked tangled from the ride, and light eyes, either blue or green. I couldn’t tell the color when she moved her sunglasses to the top of her head.

“Casey? She’s not my old lady.” “She’s something,” I replied, watching him squirm. “She’s a friend.” “Bullshit.” “I’m not with her.” “You’ve fucked her,” I said flatly, immediately regretting it when Rebel shifted on my lap. “Yeah,” he said slowly. “I have.”

“You dumped me and started sleeping with her,” I shot back. “Pretty fucking relevant!”

“You—” I choked, swallowing hard. “You made me feel like nothing.”

“But I haven’t had sex in eighteen months.” “No one since me?”

==>I was looking for the book with this scene and finally remembered!<===
“Hey,” Lily yelled, pulling my attention forward again.
She turned her face toward the stage, her unfocused eyes pointed in our direction. “I want more Offspring.”
I smiled as Leo chuckled. “Nah,” he called out quietly, knowing Lily would hear him. “Pretty girl deserves a pretty girl song.”
Leo met Trix’s eyes and I had no idea how she knew, but she immediately started playing. I laughed quietly, then joined in, looking back at Leo for a second.
His eyes were soft—that’s the only way I knew how to explain it. They were tender, indulgent, and they were pointed right at Lily, who was smiling sweetly as her hips moved from side to side, her arms high above her head.
Leo sang the first verse of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” in his gravelly voice.

l really enjoyed every bit of this book from beginning to end. I'm a huge fan of this entire series. Nicole Jacquelyn satisfies my biker book craving every time she hits publish on a new installment. With that said, Craving Molly felt very... safe. This author pushes boundaries in each book in this series, she evokes real, raw emotion evey single time. I flock to these books like a moth to a flame because of how brutal they often are, how much I'll both love and hate the characters, how much the books push me. Molly and Will are safer, more predictable. This book is your garden variety MC book. There's not a ton of extra meat thrown in, and maybe that's exactly what we needed after how crazy and emotionally-taxing the last two books were. Maybe we needed basic.

That's what Craving Molly was for me... your basic MC book from start to finish. It's all the necessary drama you'd expect to find, all the necessary components checked off the list making for an overall enjoyable read that doesn't push the bar too far. A hot, young biker that says stupid shit and disappears when shit gets too real and he can't maturely traverse the line between his club life and a potential romance. Check. A young single mom reluctant to get involved with a biker at all. Check. The heartbreak that separates them and the dangerous club beef that inevitably reconnects them, but not without the push and pull of any good grovel novel. Check. My reader friends that are skeptical about jumping back into this series after being scared off by previous books (which I LOVED!) will LOVE this book, I think. It satisfies the biker book craving without angering the reader too much with excessive drama. The drama is there, but it's the predictable, expected drama of any good MC book.

My only criticism was that the chemistry between Molly and Will wasn't as strong for me as it was between the other couples in the series. There was something missing in the build up of their relationship in the early stages of the book. But it didn't necessarily take away from my overall investment in the story. The development of their attraction just felt rushed.

I thoroughly enjoyed Craving Molly, despite the fact that it doesn't stand out to me the way the previous books have. I live for the brutality and heartbreak and gut punches that are notoriously present throughout this series, and that heavy drama is noticeably absent in Craving Molly. But I devoured it hungrily nonetheless. I really love this author's style and I'm looking forward to the other characters' stories that I was given glimpses of in this one.

Four stars for Molly and Will

This is the first book out of about 7 that I've finished lately. As exciting as this is I knew for sure I would finish it. Nicole Jacquelyn never fails me! I hope the story of the Ace's and their children's children go on forever.
My favorite book of this series was Grease and Callie's story hands down. I was very excited to read the story of their first born child.
Molly is basically an outsider to the club. The only tie she has is her father being the club's lawyer but she grew up clueless to what members of the club really do. Will has known Molly forever but she has always been the kind of girl who was just there... Until she's not. Until she's everything an old lady is supposed to be.
My favorite part of their story was Rebel. The genuine and pure love that Molly and Will both have her in their own way is beautiful. As much as Will is tough like his father he is also so beyond kind hearted that it was surprising.

Slightly better than the first book in this series. Again I didn't care for the FMC Molly. At first I was liking her, but then she started making comments and passing judgment on Grease, Will's father and we don't do that. Grease aka Asa is still my fav H in this series.

Molly and Will grew up together from elementary school until high school. Though not in the same circle. Molly's dad is the designated lawyer for the club, but has kept Molly away from that part of his life. She's basically clueless. She's a single mom working as a nurse, living in a trailer park, but girl was still stuck up. Passed judgement on everyone. Treated Will's family disrespectfully because she didn't like being around people. Also her parenting style was that of a gentle parent as her daughter is a special needs kid. So when she saw how Grease was disciplining his kids she was basically calling it child abuse. It was no such thing. She really started to annoy me.

Will and her date for 2 months then he gets cold feet and ghosts Molly. I'll admit that wasn't cool on his part. He should have just broken up with her. Will has all kinds of guilt and trauma from his brother and great grandmother dying. I would even say PTSD. Molly was for the most part understanding of that since she works in a hospital and sees it everyday. He shows back up a week later and wants her back, but she told him to f*** off. Story picks back up 18 months later Molly sees Will with another woman on his bike and is devastated. I get that but she did kick him to the curb even when he apologized and wanted her back. You can't have it both ways girl. Fast forward her father is killed by the Russian Mafia and Molly was roughed up by them. Apparently Russians are coming into the equation now and were responsible for the attack in book 1 of this series. I was getting slightly confused as we're talking about selling roids on the street. Yeah I don't know 🤷. Will was taking roids in the book prior because of his lack of confidence. Anyways, she shows up to the club asking for help and Will proceeds to try to win her back and kicks his f*** buddy who's the bartender to the curb. She got mad at him for having sex with someone else. Even though it's distasteful she can't say anything. She didn't want him and he tried to move on. She can't get mad. End of story.

This ends in a HFN. The reason I say HFN instead of a HEA is because it wasn't as clear cut as some of the other endings we've had in this series. We get her reminiscing six years later about all the fights they've had. Her catching him with a girl on his lap he didn't push away quick enough. He's drunk a lot and on the road a lot. With an ending like that I feel anything can happen now. I'm pretty sure the author didn't mean for her reader's to interpret it that way, but I did.

Overall it was ok. I just hope there's at least one FMC I'm going to like in this series.

Good things: Molly and Rebel. Obviously I didn't 100% love this book, hence the 3 stars, but one of my favorite things about it was Rebel's relationship with... well, just about everyone. I teach students with special needs, including Down Syndrome, and the author did a great job of showing what it's like to care for kids with special needs. It was awesome to see the caring side of Will that Rebel brought out, and Molly is obviously a wonderful mother. Except...
Any decent parent (especially of a child with special needs) would probably be a little more cautious about bringing a boyfriend/girlfriend into their kid's life. Molly and Will hadn't even gone on a real date before she started letting Will and Rebel get to know each other, which just didn't fit in with Molly's "protective mother" vibe, especially considering how uncertain Molly was about her feelings about Will's affiliation with Aces and Eights.
Bad things: Will. Typical biker. Falls in love with a woman, breaks her heart, spends 18 months away from her, missing her and pining for her every day they were apart (according to him, at least), yet still finds the time to fuck another woman. Specifically, one woman, repeatedly. On the other hand, he did at least apologize to Molly for being such a fucking immature dick, which is NOT typical biker... so at least he has that going for him. I actually liked Will, except for the fact that he didn't seem to miss Molly as much as she missed him. I would have been happier with the book if Molly had been with another guy or two while they were apart... but I guess that's just not Molly.

4.5 stars!!!

The Aces' series is one of my favorite MC/Biker series. I adore Nicole's books. I wasn't really up to date when this book would publish so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw one of my FB friend sharing that it was LIVE. I one-clicked it right away and started reading.

It was amazing to see all my favorite characters in this book. It makes me want to reread the series again. This book was again a great addition to the series. I wouldn't change anything about it. I absolutely loved Molly, she was such a strong character who took take of herself. She is a single mom to the wonderful girl Rebel. Rebel is such a sweetheart, and I adore her.

Let's talk about Will.. There were some moments where I really hated his guts, and I wanted to slap him for what he did to Molly. He made mistakes but also quickly realised he made them. I was glad to see that he changed his ways. There was chemistry between the two from the start, they also knew each other from when they were really young. But he never really noticed her before.

I can't wait to see what Nicole comes up with next!!!

If you have read the Aces series this book is a must for you. If you haven't the book can be read as a stand alone. Will, the second generation of the Aces MC, is still fighting demons from the previous attack on his club and feels responsible for the deaths in that attack. Molly is a young nurse trying to make it on her own and has a special needs child with Downs Syndrome. I usually don't care for the YA/NA romances but the author wrote this story in such a compelling way I was immediately sucked into the love story between Will/Molly but also the sweet love Will has for the child. Again Ms. Jacquelyn delivered a story that touched my heart and made me look forward to the next story of the second generation Aces.

There is an 18 month gap in the romance but IMO the author transitions through this gap seamlessly and it adds to the depth of the feelings Will/Molly have for each other. During the gap Will does have sex with a club girl but again the author handles that situation in a good way that doesn't involve club girl drama.

It was really hard not to love Molly and Rebel. Molly was a great mom and Rebel so cute! Will on the other hand I often found myself wanting to bitch slap. He would get scared and run, then get mad when when his own actions made Molly mad at him. I might have been able to forgive him the first time he did this, but he kept doing it, hurting Molly over and over. Will's one saving grace was how sweet he was with Rebel.

The one odd thing about this one was Molly being so ignorant of the MC life. I found it a bit hard to swallow as her dad was the lawyer for the club and she grew up around them. While she might not have known everything she was on the edges she should have known enough.

So the fight is about to begin, Will got some answers and is working toward closure, mending his broken relationship with Molly and....the book just stops, no more motion, a complete stop using giant industrial brakes. This story had great potential, but the writer just seemed to be done at certain parts, not wanting to go any further, just done and time to move to something else. Five paragraphs sums up their life together, definitely not the ending I was looking for.

Meine Meinung:

The absolute only reason this book has 2 stars is because of how adorable Rebel is as well as Rose and Lily. Molly is also a great mom but that’s as far as it gets.

I can honestly say this book was NOT for me! There was just so much wrong with it but because I bought it I was adamant I’d see it through. I was also optimistic that it would get better but these 21 year olds were acting more like 16 year olds. There was no connection and after he walked out the first time, after meeting her daughter, she should never have taken him back.

I hate that I feel this way but it is my honest and unbiased review.

Craving Molly by Nicole Jacquelyn was one of those surprise releases. As a die hard Aces MC fan, I try very hard to keep up with Nicole Jacquelyn's releases. Imagine my surprise when I got a FB notification that Craving Molly had released. I was instantly on Amazon purchasing this book. Of course I had several review commitments that I had to do before I cracked this book. The wait was killing me because I wanted to dive into this book after what happened in Craving Trix. T

he Aces world had been tilted upside down. The tragedies they were dealt was devastating. The healing process was going to be hard for all of them. The one that took it the hardest was Will Hawthorne. Will Hawthorne is Grease and Callie's oldest son. He felt responsible for the death of his younger brother. He felt like he brought the devastation to their front door. For the past few years he has been living with the guilt. While the others moved forward with life, he was stalled. The only thing he could commit to was the Aces MC club itself. He became one of their most employed soldiers. His only mission was to protect the club.

When he runs into Molly Duncan he finds his interest is once again engaged in something other than club business. Molly was the shy, untouchable girl from high school. She was the nurse that took care of him while he was in the hospital. Now she's the woman he wants in his bed. He knows she's different from the women he is used to. She's never been around club life and he is okay with that. She's something that he can have for himself, that is separate from his obligations. Something that isn't a reminder of the horrific day that killed his younger brother.

Molly Duncan is different from the folks from the Aces MC. She has led a pretty sheltered life that was laced with her own personal tragedies. Her high school sweetheart and father of her daughter died unexpectedly when she was pregnant. Her young daughter is a special needs child. Her only focus is taking care of her daughter to the best of her ability. But when she runs into Will Hawthorne, she also realizes she is a woman with her own personal needs. The question is can she take a risk on fulfilling her needs? How is it going to affect her daughter? Will being a member of the Aces is another problem. Her father is their attorney and he has laid the law down where they are concerned.

Will and Molly start a beautiful friendship that becomes something more. He's fallen in love with her and her daughter. When they try to blend their worlds it becomes clear that they might not mix. Rather than trying to make it work, Will does what he does best, he chooses the club.

Months later Molly's world and Will's world collide in a very violent and horrific way. This time Will is choosing Molly. He will protect her at any cost. This time around he is playing for keeps. But can he protect Molly and the Aces.

As the story unfolds it becomes clear that The Aces Sons Series is heading towards one explosive plot. Rather than each book having it's own story that fits into the Aces world, the new series has an individual love story that is thrown into the fire of the Aces world. Each book is building up to an explosive ending. The ongoing plot is getting more treacherous and dangerous for all of the Aces.

Once again Nicole Jacquelyn wrote a compelling and passionate story. This time around she added something special. She gave the Aces a beautiful special little girl to take into their fold.

I loved Craving Molly!

I must say that this is not a stand alone book. It's better to read the Aces MC series and the first book in the Aces Sons series. The characters, the club dynamics, and build up to this book are laid out as the series progresses.

Whenever I read a book I really like, I always hope that it will be a series. Then I never want it to end. If there are children in the story I want them to grow up and have their own stories told. Depending on how prominently a child is featured in the earlier books, I've found that it can be weird, especially when it comes to intimate situations. Also, really well written children can grow up and not be as interesting. Nicole Jacquelyn does an amazingly good job writing child characters. I loved Trix as a child in the original series but not as much as an adult in the first book of this spinoff series. I have the complete opposite feeling with Will in Craving Molly. I found him to be a really interesting character as an adult. I like the way he's written. He's not a superhero with no faults. He does stupid guy things that would get on your nerves in real life but I like it in this story because it's real. Of course I like Molly. She's a single mom with a special needs child and she is a superhero like all good moms are. I absolutely LOVED how much she loved her daughter - how everything she did was about her baby first and foremost. She's strong and independent and she doesn't lay down and let Will walk all over her and then just easily forgive and forget. He has to earn his place beside her and I think that's one of the best points of this book. And Rebel is an amazingly, awesomely written character. She's just a toddler but she's a person with a personality that you can actually see as you read this book. I applaud the author and definitely recommend this book.

Wow

I found this book by accident while I was desperately searching for a new book to read and what an amazing treasure I found! It sucked me in from beginning to end and made me want MORE!!!! This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last! Will and Molly went to school with each other since kindergarten! Their lives goin on around them but never crossing paths! Now that they are in each other's lives can they each deal with the lives they made? You'll have to one click to find out! And I definitely recommend that u do! An amazing story of growing up and falling in love all at the same time!

I am not quite sure how she keeps doing it. I keep waiting for Nicole Jacquelyn to write something that is predictable, mediocre, and meh, but it hasn't happen, even in what is essentially the 6th book deep into the series. I don't even know where to start with Reb. Nicole was amazingly brave to write Reb into the story, and I think that she did an amazing job. After the dark of Resurrection and Trix, the light that Reb brought to this cast of characters was priceless. PLEASE DON'T READ THIS BOOK AS A STANDALONE, it won't give the beauty of the story and the characters justice.

I absolutely ADORED Rebel. I am so glad that Nicole Jacqueline broached a subject that not many authors these days do... Special needs children. Not only that but the fact that Molly was not prim and proper, or that we was skinny with a great body, that she was portrayed as a real women with curves and a not so perfect body after giving birth to Rebel. I loved how Will was with Rebel and how she loved him right back. I cant wait for more from this series!
