Go for it. Kind of contains spoiler's

I'm pretty sure I've said it before but this is another hit by CJ Morrow.
This story is set mainly in Devon. It's the story of Lily trying to get control of her life and decide what she wants. She meets a charming man and starts a 'no past, no future' holiday fling. The charming man then appears in her real life. There is a little twinkling of magic too
The story is so well written and the characters instantly likeable, although I'm not sure about Damion, that you feel very quickly that you know them and are invested in Lily's life. There are definitely some proper laugh out loud moments, especially with Gemma.
I'd definitely recommend everyone to read CJ's books.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It combines all the factors that (in my opinion) make a great book: romance, humor, surprising twists, and a strong female character.
I enjoyed the story so much and fell in love with Lily and Jackson.
2020 had been a yikes year. I didn't enjoy it, but the one of the few good things it brought me is the time to discover C.J Morrow's books. I've read four of them so far, and I loved them all. Thanks C.J for giving me some fun escape stories for this crazy time we are experiencing.

British quirky romance is a favorite of mine, so enjoyed this book which is a fun light read. Liked the main character and enjoyed the best friends and the semi-protagonist friend as well. Characters were developed enough that the reader could develop an affinity for them and feel a part of this story. Plot was predictable but still well written, so wasn't boring going along for the ride.

Clearly I have different tastes than all these five-star reviews -- I thought it *was* unrealistic and a bit ridiculous. More than that, the characters weren't particularly likeable, nor was the plot all that engaging or unputdownable. But it seems this is one of those books that you'll need to decide for yourself.

This story by CJ Morrow is a winner for me. Lily and Jackson meet in Devon and have a no strings holiday romance, then go back to their normal lives. However, in the corporate world, it’s amazing who you can run in to and why. Recommended.
