Can one girl’s quest to save her father start a rebellion?
Daelyn’s life on the farm has been simple. But she knows her magic-born mother keeps secrets. What is she hiding?
Why do strange men speaking the enemy kingdom’s language show up at their door?
What do they want?
Daelyn hasn’t prepared for what’s to come. She’ll need to learn to fight, deceive, and embrace her inner warrior.
It’s in her blood.
Her parents were never farmers, they’re highly trained spies. And to save her father from the gallows she’ll need to become one too.
That might mean marrying the prince who holds him captive. Can Daelyn beguile the handsome prince to set her father and possibly even magic free? Books Included 1. RISE 2. WRATH 3. RIVAL
A young gel rises from who she thinks she is to whom she's meant to be
A nicely woven tale of love, family, loyalty, magic, death, fear, war, and peace. The characters win your heart, or repel you, as they find themselves, make their own choices, and follow their paths to their destinies. The rise and fall of three kingdoms join together in this fast paced, enjoyable, and predictable story arc. Lovers are found, heros die, and the bad slink away to rejoin the fight another day.
I could not put these books down, finishing the series in 4 days. The characters complex in their own ways lend uniqueness to the story. The storyline exciting full of magic, action, treachery, redemption and romance left little to be desired. Highly recommended for those who love fantasy novels!
The plot had so much potential but the execution was so poor. The writing was painful to suffer through. The characters are infuriating, childish, and have no depth. One of the main characters is abusive to their child and it’s just skated over even though it’s discussed and then they are spoken of as a hero? As I said the plot of the story had the potential to be really thrilling but too many plot points are never developed.
Firstly, the world you created was interesting, fast-paced and thorough. Several critiques I can offer; there were too many spelling, grammatical and sentence structure errors. Your proof-reader need glasses. Also, it seemed like towards the end you were hurrying to wrap all the lose ends and feel short in finishing the story adequately. Just my opinions, of course.
Complex but believable story without unnecessary padding
Believable characters with complex personalities that encourage you to read on. Without the padding that some writers have to extend sex scenarios to include every movement it allows the reader some imagination to make it their own. The writer has faithfully created a believable world with nuances that enhance rather than detract from the story. Well done.
I loved this series right until the end. No karma for the villainess? She finds another prince and runs away? No pay back for Rorin? Could have been and epic vengeance but everyone gets a happy ending….except Rorin. He gets used, abused, and doesn’t know about his baby.
It took probably 200-300 pages for things to actually get interesting. This series had a slow start. However, the story overall was compelling. The ending was rushed though. It felt like climbing a mountain and falling off. I would recommend reading this series.
The only reason I forced myself to look past the poor writing, spelling mistakes, ridiculous use of italics, ect, was because it has an excellent story line and I wanted to know what happened to the characters. I wish it was written better. It feels like a young kid’s rough draft. It could have been a great book but it’s so hard to read.
I really enjoyed this entire series. I loved reading through multiple POVS, and really my only complaint about the book is that the ending chapters felt a little rushed. After about 1200 pages though, I was very satisfied with the ending.
Great story with strong character and just enough trope
This book has a great storyline with enough twist and unexpected turns to keep it interesting throughout! It is well written and the characters are relatable enough to dribe you crazy and make you smile.
This is one of the best fantasy series I’ve ever read! Don’t overlook this series! Wonderful and original ideas and a true story that will make you fall in love with the FMC. Definitely give it a read!
Fast paced easy to imagine the world. The main characters where easy to like. I did feel like the course to be queen was a little lacking in imagination. The sex scenes where behind closed doors.
I didn’t really like this story, so I ended up skimming through it an awful lot, stopping only when something seems intriguing enough to suffer through. The writing style was horrendous; it was just so, so bad. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time with it. I could’ve played video games instead.
