Everything is going well until they arrive on Soluu Four and find out they are expected to bring a mate. In order to avoid offending their hosts and ruining the mission, Danni pretends to be Bravick's bride. But to her surprise, the healing techniques she has come to study turn out to be sexual in nature. When her "husband," Bravik, is injured on the strange little planet, she is called upon to put her new skills to the test. Things are getting hot and heavy--can it be that Danni's wishes will come true after all?

Doctor heal thy self
This author never disappoints and with each new book I always feel like I have found a new favorite. This newest installment is absolutely fantastic and might just be my favorite from the series, so far. I love the character, the steam between the two of them is off the charts and fate, or the lady, might have put them in just the right spot to find what they were looking for. This newest civilization is the latest in the wonders that come from this author’s pen, each new place and people always leave me in in awe at the author’s active imagination. This book is an amazing story and, as always, I can’t wait to see what the author brings my way next.

I am actually not a fan of fantasy romance but from several piece (of normal romance) of Evangeline Anderson's works I got addicted to her. I saw the synopsis and I thought this wouldn't veer much from normal human erotica (though I was wondering what 'mating shaft' is and how it would look like) so I decided to give it a try.
I like forced/arranged coupling sprinkled with reluctance from both parties which tiny percent of want so this goes right up to my alley.
Despite the several mega holes or cheesiness that I almost couldn't stand, I finished it and I like it. But ugh, I really don't like fantasy romance.

Healing Her Patient was just the book I needed to read . I love how EvangelineAnderson writes characters that you fall in love with and the personality between the main characters kept me rooting for there happy ending of course you can't have a kindred tale with the assistant of the goddess looking out for her children or the mates she puts together. Throw in some hot loves and I was hooked. I really enjoyed reading this book and I hated that it had to end but I will definitely be reading this book again

Healing Her Patient by Evangeline Anderson is a new addition to the Kindred Tales set of novels. Commander Bravik, a Hybrid Kindred, is given the task of the Kindred’s first visit to Soluu Four. Because the High Council has heard they have remarkable new ways to heal, they also assign Dr. Danielle to investigate. But when they arrive, they make such discoveries as the H’raken people expected a mated couple who dresses and acts the same way as they do. Danielle decides to pretend to be Bravik’s mate. The biggest discovery, however, is the healing techniques she came to study are rooted in sexual matters.
At first as the two stumble through trying to fit in so they can study the culture of the H’raken people, they meet problems all the way. As they try to change their behavior to ideas that are acceptable to the native people, all kinds of new situations occur. Some are very humorous, causing a laugh-out-loud moment, but others are very serious, intense and occasionally scary.
These two characters are so well drawn that I could imagine myself trying desperately to succeed in the same situations, . Any planet that heals through sexual situation has to have steamy hot scenes, and Ms. Anderson doesn’t disappoint. They know they have to make reports to the High Council, but even that becomes more and more difficult. As Ms. Anderson leads the reader through the same discoveries her characters have, her technique makes for exciting reading.

Best One So Far
I didn't want this story to end. I was bummed when it was over. This is the best Kindred I've read in a while. Healing Her Patient was so sexy and comical at the same time. If you love live stories this is your book. I want more of these two. I want to know what happens next. Please!

This is a very interesting tale with Danielle Adams and Bravik heading off to Soluu 4 already at loggerheads with each other! Then the situation on the planet makes things very different and they have to get along, at least in public. When danger threatening both comes into the picture things change quite a bit!

I only put it down because my kindle battery died lol Another wonderful amazing brilliant story! I love EAs writing style, humor, drama, angst, hot steamy love, romance!
Touching on sensitive subjects and giving HEAs every time!
I also love how the books are stand alone but we keep getting peeks into the lives of past characters we love so much!

This was a simply wonderful read, I loved every moment
Dr Danielle Adams is not the type to look for love as her health has left her unable to have children so she had instead focused everything to her career in her own special field and that was ancient artefacts.
Commander Bravik is a Hybrid Kindred-half Blood, half Beast Kindred he is a diplomat visiting Soluu Four where these people have amazing healing techniques which they both are interested in.
When they arrive in Soluu Four and find out they are expected to bring a mate, so that they can continue with their aim and not wanting to offend their hosts Danni pretends to be Bravick’s bride.
As matters seem to come to a head and she has to treat him she soon realises that perhaps her luck might in fact be changing, only time will tell?

Dani and her kindred have a love hate relationship in the beginning but with the help of the mother stone they learn to love one another and eventually bond after a bad episode with some weird creatures. The characters in this story are fantastic and the new aliens have a weird life, but the stone causes it all to be even more weird. They cannot keep their hands off one another. It’s crazy and how she forgets everything sucks for them both. I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next kindred tale.

What an exciting and great book. Dr. Danielle Adams is going on a mission with Commander Bravik to another planet. Strange feelings, strange people and even strange deadly creatures all live there. They realize they will only be allowed to stay if they are a bonded couple, but unfortunately they hate each other so faking a relationship is going to take a !of of effort. I really enjoyed this book.

Danni and Bravia are mature people with many accomplishments and skills who have decided to stay away from relationships. As they embark on a visit to the H’raken people to study their healing abilities and see if they are a good fit for the Kindred world, they must act as a couple and of course, they fall in love. There are complications of course, and a truly lovely ending. I enjoy

Danni and Bravik are on a mission to study another cultures take on medicine. The y have alternate healing methods and Danni is determined to learn all about it. I bet she never thought she would have to do some spicy things with Bravik to learn about this advanced medicine. I loved Danni and Bravik, they were an incredible pair and had fantastic chemistry. Great addition to the series!!

This series never gets old, swoon worthy, totally corny and thoroughly entertaining.
The Kindreds have been invited to another planet and an Earth Dr is included. Bravik and Danielle are a mature pair, she's not impressed with him at all. This planet has weird effects on the inhabitants, what is happening to this couple? Aches and pains disappearing, middle age lines smoothing. What fountain of youth powers does this planet hold, not to mention their emotions and memories are also affected. It will take the power of the Goddess to save them from this odd place and it's creatures, danger is imminent.
Once again this author proves what a wondrous imagination she has. Evangeline I really want those floaty boob dot things.

Could not put down. Spent the whole day reading. two people unhappy about their circumstances. Unwilling to be nice to each other. Soon discovers they have to be. Sent to study a new race they find that they need to be married to be there. Being there their lives start to change. will they come home unchanged?

Two people who had all but given up on finding their perfect partner (which made them both grumpy) are sent on a mission together. The Kindred Goddes and a healing love stone team up to heal both Danielle and Bravic. Then there are complications, which are resolved by the end resulting in lots of "warm fuzzies" and some weird food to celebrate. Communication is one of the greatest keys in building a strong relationship.

As usual this series doesn't disappoint!!! When Dr. Danielle and Commander Bravik had given up hope on finding their perfect match. They both decided to dedicate their lives to their career. That was until the Goddess got involved making things that were impossible things possible. I bet you're wondering what I mean by that. You'll just have to one click on this book to find out what I'm talking about believe me you won't regret it. Overall a great read. I loved this installment. Soluu Four is a fantastical new planet that I hope we get to explore more of in future books. Brav and Danni are an ‘aww’ worthy couple. Both need ‘healing’ in different ways, for very different reasons. The way they go about healing on this planet is hott and steamy with a huge helping of life altering, and a heaping helping of dangerous possibilities! The way everything in this story goes down makes it impossible not to become attached to this couple and their adventure. You have got to read this book.

A sci-fi Kindred romance. Take one forty something doctor and one forty something Kindred male and put them together and step back. Because from the start sparks flew but not in a good way. The stories of the Kindred are always adventurous and romantic. This time the visit a world where healing and love are very different. The story has a lot of fun scenes and plenty of tension between the characters. And of course some hotness that will make you want your own Kindred.

This story is great, it's entertaining and filled with action, adventure, and intrigue. The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Danni and Bravik is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

Wanted to like it
I really wanted to like this book, but as I end the story I am disappointed.
Likes: I loved the effects the planet had on them, and of course finding their mate. I also liked their friendship with the native couple they stayed with.
Dislikes: There was barely a story. Even the intimacy that this author does well was watered down. There was no cure for the ten percent of the population that changed, and I hated that the Goddess was powerless. Or rather limited in what she could do. If she could heal memory lost, why wait to do so.
Not a bad story, but not my favorite.

Evangeline Anderson never disappoints. It was refreshing to have an older couple as the focus of this story.
