Saudi Feast: Flavors and Recipes is a small collection of recipes gathered from Saudi cooks and presented in 5 chapters each one focusing on rice, cardamon. lamb, dates and wheat. Every chapter begins with history and stories about the primary ingredient and is followed by several recipes. The book is intended to help preserve both the food and the stories of the Saudi people.

Recipes are easy to follow and are accompanied with many pictures. The book comes across more like a coffee-table book than a cookbook since there are just over 30 recipes in the 173 pages. If you are curious about learning authentic Saudi recipes and the cultural history behind these main ingredients, then this book will be right up your alley.
