I love Treasuries, like this one. This book has over 150 nursery rhymes, and the illustrations are lovely. However, I did not love this book, because it took well known Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes and changed them to have a more Christian theme. I found it a little annoying.
For example:
"There was an old woman
Who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children,
And loved them all, too.
She said, "Thank you, Lord Jesus,
For sending them bread,"
Then kissed them all gladly
And sent them to bed."
Or this one:
"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
Humpty Dumpty shouted, "Amen!
God can put me together again!"
Overall, it was all nice and sweet, and taught moral lessons, but I'd rather read the originals.
