And another amazing novella from Jacqueline Snowe is in the books. I loved Lexi and Will, they were so cute together and the "let's practice getting nekkid together" is always a fun trope.
I love, love, loved Lexi as a plus sized FMC. I don't usually love when the FMC has hang-ups about their weight, but the way Will treated her and her reasons for not liking her body were so well written. Will was such an amazing MMC, I've come to find that Jacqueline writes some of the best and most unique MMCs, I just love them.
I really loved Charley in this one too! Usually novellas don't focus a lot on the secondary characters, but Charley found a way to make her voice heard. She was an amazing friend and sister and I loved her spirit.
I'm so excited to give Jacqueline's full length novels a try, if they are anything like her novellas, I'm in for a treat.

Jaqueline is on fire! 🔥 I received an arc from her and this turned out to be a sweet little package! It was wrapped in lots of love, caring, kindness, patience and understanding! 💖 The beach and bar setting of this book made me want to be there as well! 💃
Charley and Lexi's friendship reminds me so much of my best friend and I! I could see so many similarities and could relate to them so easily! Charley was like the firecracker on the side! 💥
Lexi was a sweet girl with insecurities about herself, caused by an asshole ex! She is very relatable to a lot of girls who have issues with accepting their body! Its nice to see authors trying to write such realistic characters! Makes for more of an interesting read! She was perfect for Will! Both of them together, fit into each other like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle! 👏👌

Will is that Perfect 10 – a super-hot professional athlete with the looks, the muscles, and the charm to match. However, to nerdy programmer Lexi, he’s just Will – the guy she grew up with, her lifelong best friend’s brother, and her childhood crush – and her heart aches for him as he deals with the aftermath of a media scandal that has him afraid to trust. They are joined by Charlene’s brother Will, a professional baseball player who is getting away from the bad publicity when naked pictures of him were sold by his ex. Lexi is a programmer and has always had a crush on Will and he is attracted to Lexi and volunteers to help by letting her practice with him so she can feel good about her curves and get her confidence back. How will his sister feel when she finds out what Will and Lexi are doing? Will their time together on vacation lead to more permanent happiness for Lexi and Will?
I thoroughly enjoyed this story where friends became lovers and highly recommend it. The author did a fantastic job letting you see how both characters felt so that you understood their actions. Will was perfect for Lexi, he had patience and proceeded at her pace in everything they did. Lexi had no self confidence after her last boyfriend and was afraid to get involved again. Will had also been hurt by his ex and they had a chance to help each other. The epilogue was a perfect ending for their story.

This book is about Lexi and Will. Lexi is Will’s sister Charlize’s best friend, and agrees to go on their family trip with them. It’s a decision she comes to regret because of her attraction to and huge crush on Will, despite his fame, over-confidence and reputation for dating beautiful, skinny girls. He’d decided to join the girls on a week’s drama-free getaway to escape his unfortunate nude pics scandal.
Both girls were hoping to get over their awful ex-boyfriends, and just have some fun – beach, booze and bikinis. Sounds just perfect to me! But having Will there meant that Lexi couldn’t totally relax and be herself. But when he made a certain proposition with her, to up her confidence and self-esteem, was she brave enough to follow through? Would this change the dynamic of their relationship?
It’s a sweet, emotional, funny, frustrating, passionate and steamy story about two opposites that are seemingly perfect for each other. But hopefully they take the necessary risks after being hurt so badly. It was an enjoyable read, but I did feel like it ended too abruptly. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these wonderful characters! I give this book four and a half naked stars.

What a great story! Lexi and Will have been friends for years. So when Lexi needs a large dose of self-confidence, Will is there to help her get it. Over the course of their practice runs, their feelings for each other make themselves known. It harder and harder for them to keep their attraction under wraps, especially from Charlize, Will's sister and Lexi's best friend.
This was a great story. The heroine is on the curvy side and uses society's measuring stick to determine how attractive she is. Doesn't help that the ex-boyfriend is a douche canoe who doesn't appreciate who Lexi is. Her low self-confidence is a real thing for so many women who don't fit the stereotypical, socially acceptable body type. Her reaction to Will's attraction is also very real. After all, he's fit, good-looking, and famous so why would he like her? The characters were truly relatable and realistic. There should be more Wills in this world.

Sweet and steamy! I enjoyed the connection between Will and Lexi. Love the BFF’s brother scenario. I wasn’t a fan of how focused Lexi was on the negative in the beginning of the story; she has low self-esteem because of her douchebag ex, she’s curvy and for some stupid reason, she thinks her big boobs are a turn off. Will helps her get her mojo back; I’m not a fan of them starting out as just a week/no strings type of thing, but they are cute with each other. I didn’t like that Will dated skeezes before; one of them released nudes of him, so he’s hiding out and it has affected him emotionally. Also, I wish there would’ve been a deeper emotional connection; Will was fine dating around even though he’s known Lexi for years, so I wish he would’ve wanted her more in the past. Overall, this was an entertaining short read!

Okay this book couldn’t been SO GOOD! But I am sick of authors making curvy girls so insecure. I hate this idea that just because women are not the stereotypical body type means they have to be so insecure about their bodies and hate themselves for it. SICK OF IT! We need more representation of women in bigger bodies that love themselves!
Also hate when women get their confidence because the guy loves their body, but this book couldn’t even do that. She hated her body and second guessed herself to the very end.
Lexie was so insecure that she thought she was actually a burden to Will because of her size and it just about ruined the book for me. Even Will got sick of it 😅
And that she thinks she’s a nobody. She thinks Will is so far out of her league and there’s no way that she could be his type or into her. IT GOT OLD FAST.

Best friends Lexie and Charlize have a girls trip planned but they are joined by Charlize's brother after a tabloid scandal sends him into hiding. He is also Lexie's crush since they were teenagers. Will never thought he would be exploited by someone he trusted. He has no intention of putting himself at risk of that again. However, spending time with Lexie has wanting something real not just a fling. He quickly falls for her and he knows without a doubt he can trust her with his heart. Lexie also has her own insecurities and trust insures after a nasty breakup but will she be able to protect her heart from the man she has always wanted?

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. This story was awesome friends to lovers. Lexi and her best friend Charlize went on vacation to fix Lexi's self-esteem. Will is a sports player and he needed to go into hiding from the press, he herd that is sister and bff was on vacation to help her friend. Will decided he was going to catch up with them to help, he has always had a crush on her and he will do anything for her. Lexi has had a crush on Will. Could they fall in love or will it break their friendship.

Made To Be Mine is the perfect read in one sitting romance. It’s a best friend’s brother/sports romance and I loved it. Lexi is feeling down about herself and needs to work on her self esteem. Will is trying to escape an ugly situation involving naked pictures of his junk. They find themselves thrown together while on vacation and it.is.on. They both have feelings for each other but have never acted upon them, until now. I enjoyed watching them fall in love and acknowledge their feelings for each other. Made To Be Mine Is sexy and sweet. TBR and enjoy!

This was such a fun, quick read that didn't take me but a few hours to read. The characters were sweet and I fell in love instantly - wish the story was longer! But if you just want a quick read that makes you smile and want to fall in love, this is for you! Classic best friend's brother (who's obviously off limits) to lover trope - I am ALWAYS in love with this trope hehe, hope you enjoy!

The best friend's brother trope is one of my favorites! Made to be mine is a short book, which I read in a couple hours. It is nicely written, but since it's a short book, everything happens very fast, which is not exactly something I enjoy much in books.
But if you're looking for a sweet, low angst book, go for it!

I absolutely loved the first person point of view of the story. This was an amazing story. I really loved it. I read it in one sitting. I also loved the best friend's brother trope. I love these types of stories.

A delightful romance between two lifelong friends who have been hurt in past relationships and realize their best partners are each other. Surprisingly low angst considering the issues of their past relationships, but oh so hot. Jaqueline Snowe doesn't disappoint.
