The book will be helpful in improving your cummunication skills.Good thing is that the author resorted to modern examples and the great historical facts to keep his point that makes the content of the book credible, as well as I loved the idea of the author telling a self help genre's book as a story..it's is quite unique about the book.

The book is only 40 pages long and can be completed within an hour easily. I find this book very helpful and made notes almost in every chapter. A great book explained in easy language that even a beginner can pick it. The name of the book could not have been more perfect. It completely goes with the kind of content this book carries it.

The art of communication

This book is a short story of 40 pages. The protagonist Dr Bakshi and his assistant, Kritika are preparing the world's first humanoid robot who is specializing in communications. Her name is SAMA. While training SAMA, Kritika and Dr. Bakshi is reminded the power of expression and words. Throughout the book, the narrator advises how should we communicate to make a better impact of our words on our listeners. The lessons are valuable and practically applicable. The title of the book is really interesting. It says "speaking skills " and also "speaking kills" if not done properly. A really interesting story to teach a valuable lesson to the readers, which is, the importance of communication.

Through this book, the author has explained the importance of sensible communication in our lives with the help of a fictional story revolving around a psychology professor Dr Bakshi, his assistant Kritika and the humanoid robot SAMA.The author says that "Speaking without skills will kill" and we all know how accurate it is in this changing world. I could learn so many valuable things from this book. This book was something which I really needed to read. There are several points mentioned in this book that will help us enhance our speaking skills and help us build strong relationships with others. Sometimes it happens so that we say things we don't mean, right? and what follows is regret, it's because we don't think properly before speaking, so as we can see there are very minute things like these and some more on which we need to work. In the last chapter, there is a questionnaire part with the humanoid robot SAMA which I loved thoroughly and was a great learning for me and I hope you too will love it.

I loved the concept behind this book where such an important topic is addressed in such an interesting way. The language is simple and without any grammatical errors. Highly recommended.

It’s a short read that we can read in an hour. Hence I will keep my reviews short. I checked out the blurb and it seemed different and interesting to me. Dr. Bakshi is a psychologist and working as a professor. He spent his entire life in research in subject of Human behaviour and he found a breakthrough. Dr. Bakshi had always dreamt of an idea that could change the way people understand communication and human behaviour. And key component to that is communication. Yes that seems quite unusual but the core concept of the book is based on speaking skills and communication. We can say we know how to have conversations. And what is so different and special about this book. For that you need to read this book. I liked the concept of the book. It’s so unique and I couldn’t even think that author will use connections to the events like this. It’s quite different than usual reads. The language of the book is lucid that way everyone can pick it up. The book is fast paced that way it holds the interest of the reader. Overall quite unique and different read.

Speaking sKills
By- Dr Vinay Bansal

What do we get when we take a plot setting which is Author's brainchild and mingle it with self help lessons to help polish speaking skills?
A unique page turner book thats engaging from page 1 to last.
This is a very short one sitting read of mere 40 pages but quite impactful.
It covers various interrelated aspects of communication ( psychological, emotional, social, personal to name a few) to bring in light a better communicator in us.
Writer's idea and efforts are appreciable.
Its been a while since I read a self help so it was a much needed change for me, the lucid language helped.
That's a major reason I'd recommend this book to beginners of this genre as it sets the oace just right for enhanced learning.

I wished more work was done on the compilation of various subjects so it wouldn't break the progression from one topic to another,
Otherwise a good read overall.

This is the second book, I have picked from Dr. Vinay Bansal. The title suggests and will make it seems that it would be a proper non-fiction book, but you might be wrong.

This book has made a story especially for young readers and speaks about what would happen when humanity started lacking the zeal towards communication, hence in this story professor Dr. Bakshi and her assistant develops a humanoid Robot SAMA for better and enhanced communication.

This book tells us what points should be checked if we want to make a proper and impactful conversation. I would say this book is quite small and it will hardly take 1-2 hours to complete. The author has observed everything impeccable and the end result was good.

When I first picked up this book, I thought it was going to be a boring spoken english types of books that are doing rounds currently. Boy, was I wrong. I'm so glad I decided to give it a try because once I began reading, I couldn't put this book down.

Knowledge is power and our language is the most important factor through which we can put forth our feelings.

So, the story does talk about how we can improve our speaking skills, how they play a vital role in our lives and how it is absolutely necessary for all things, but this all is represented in a very fictionalized format, the story which makes it rather more interesting to read than the mundane pointers which are seen in other books.

We have Dr. Bakshi, who has invented SAMA, the most advanced humanoid robot ever created in India. The pandemic taught us many things, one out of it was the need to lesser human contact in case of crisis. Keeping this in mind, SAMA was born and Kritika, the doctor's assistant is tasked with the important role of humanizing this robot.

Mental health is something which was considered a taboo subject in the nineties, however it seems that it has started gaining momentum over the last few years and people are now more averse to talking about it. So, I liked how author touched on this topic as well.

There was a movie called, ‘Robot ’ that came out in 2009, I guess. Well, SAMA gave me a lot of vibes as that Chitti. I absolutely adored him and would love to have a personal own SAMA for myself. Wouldn't it be great if we finally get something like SAMA in our household? Wishful thinking on my part, but soon it will be a reality.

I liked the different approach which was taken by the author, hence I am going to give this book FIVE SKILL STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Speaking sKills by Dr Vinay Bansal is an unconventional approach to tackle a conventional problem. The content is 100% true to the title, but the way he executed this subject is extraordinary. I absolutely love the previous books of Dr Bansal. He choose unique subjects to talk about and deliver absolutely great content to its readers. The ideas are expressed in a crisp and clear manner. One of his best skill is to convey the ideas as it is, through a very less number of pages. In this one too, his approach is the same.

He builds a fictional story to convey non-fiction aspects. We are introduced to the conversation and life of Dr Bakshi, an acclaimed psychologist and scientist with his assistant Kritika. Together they are building the first-ever humanoid robot SAMA, that will solve the communication barriers that exist in our real world. They discusses the emotional aspects of humans that affects the communication skills. One point that the author emphasizes throughout the book is, communication barriers are essentially created by our own emotional conditions. They try to analyse the negative side of human beings psychologically to reach the bottom of those problems. This way they were able to solve many psychological problems hindering our communication skills.

Overall, this is indeed a valuable read. As I mentioned earlier, Dr Bansal only includes points that are valuable for sharing, in his books. So this short read offers a lot of wisdom which we can use to improve our skills.

This is my second time reading a book by Dr. Vinay Bansal. Do not be fooled by the books title and judge this book by it's cover. This book might look like a self help book, but it's much more than that. The book is a hybrid of two genres of Self help and Sci-fi. I liked the idea narrating a self help book in the form of a story.
Now coming to the plot, the story is about Dr. Bakshi who is building world's first humanoid robot to help improve communication. He has an assistant named Kritika, who is a software engineer. She is juggling between her personal life and her job.
Through the story-line the author explains how communication and speaking skills are important in life. The book is just 40 pages and can be completed in one go. It is a very unique book as it aims at improving one's speaking skills through a fictional story and thus the book doesn't seem to be a typical motivational book, rather it is relatable and helpful, without being boring. The language is simple and lucid. Although some parts felt over stretched.

Life changing project and book!🌺

Sensible communication is the key and how about creating a link, human-to-human, to intensify the understanding and bond?

Speaking skills is a life changing project work between Professor Bakshi and his intern, Kritika.

Speaking skills is a book beyond its literal sense and turns out to be working on curbing the EGO state of humanoids.

Ego management is a major strata of humanism, but the way through a simple story, author explained it is commendable.

Self management is what I am learning these days and reading more about the same has enhanced my perception about how important it is to have relationship with ourselves, and how self love impacts our own happiness level.

What I did not like about this book was it's length, I believe it had to be more than 100 pages, a bit elaborated on self management.

💭 Imagine if you learn the magical art of communicating. Your every relationship becomes beautiful, You excel at your work place and Become a star of your world.

Sounds awesome, isn't it?

Well, it's possible as well! And this book can teach you the exact way to make it happen.

My friends, it's one of the best books I have ever read on communication skills.

And that's why today I am recommending it You guys. So, let's see....

📕 What's in it?

The story starts with Dr. Bakshi, a renowned psychologist who is working with his assistant, Kritika on a top secret project.

They are making the world's first and one of it's kind humanoid robot named SAMA

As, humans are becoming more like robot nowadays. So, Sama is the only hope to make us aware of who we really are and how we can unleash our fullest potential.

By the experience of Dr. Bakshi, and kritika's technical skills, Sama learns the most essential communication skills and human emotions.

But, at last it will have to go through some tests to get approved by our government.

So, what will happen now?
Will SAMA pass or not?

What are the lessons that Dr. Bakshi and Kritika installed in it?

Read this book to know all these things, guys :)

🔷What I liked the most in it:-

• The book is very short but deeply impactful.

Author's skill to teach some of the best things in such a short period of time are really impressive.

• Every character, every situation is narrated beautiful.

• There are many points which were really eye-opening, like how we are getting away from our loved ones and ourselves day by day

• And most importantly the lessons or I should say the golden teachings are really awesome

This book has everything we need to learn to develop good communication skills.

Be it the importance of these skills, tips to develop them or things we should keep in mind, this book covers everything.

🎖️Some of the lessons I learned from it:-

1️⃣ Most people know how to talk but not how to communicate

2️⃣ Ego is the evil which all of us need to get rid of. This I, just I is the root cause of major conflicts and ultimately the lose of very grounds of socialization

So, replace this I with We and Me with Us.

3️⃣ Love yourself:-

We are constantly seeking other's approval, our insecurities are increasing day by day and that's why we never get to know our real potential.

So, to excel at our work place or to be a master communicator we must love ourselves first, we must understand ourselves.

💫And for that things like:-

✓ Meditation,
✓ Diary writing
✓ Positive habits, affirmations, can be very helpful

Also, create a surrounding which suits your work, like have:-

✓ Beautiful portraits if you are in creative field and motivational quotes or something inspiring if you work environment is pretty serious.

These small things have a big psychological effect on us and can help us a lot

4️⃣ Never have a pre conceived image of someone in your mind:- Many times we miss the best opportunities to connect with people because of their image we have in our mind.

So, to be an awesome communicator, always:-

😊 Respect others, be genuinely interested in them and try to understand their point of views

5️⃣. Learn what to say and how to say:-

Often, there is a big difference between "what we want to say" and "what we actually say."

And this creates a big communication difference. So, learning these points is really important for us.

💥(For this there's an amazing framework in this book)

My friends, these are only a few of the things, there are many other amazing lessons in it as well.

🔥So, if you want to make things happen, to excel in every aspect of your life, to be mast the art of communication.

Then, do read this book. I am sure it will help you a lot.

Humans are the only known species on the planet who can talk and communicate to all the other members of the species through multiple languages, gestures, and even silence. We learn how to speak at the mere age of 1, but we don't know what to talk about until the very end. We mostly end up saying the wrong things at the wrong time, something that stays with us far longer than we would prefer. If we don’t rectify this habit, it only creates disputes and kills harmony, peace, and brotherhood, be it with our spouse, friends, neighbours, or countries.

At some point in time, everyone thinks that he/she needs to become a better orator, a better communicator

Speaking skills by Dr Vinay Bansal is one such book which focuses on learning communication skills. It also helps readers to learn the importance of each word. How a word, grammatical errors, comma, question mark can change the entire meaning of the sentence.

In this era of smart phones we have lost our true-selves, and have turned into robots, which needs to change.

Story revolves around a doctor and an assistant who are working together to develop a robot which can help humans to have an effective communication with others.

I appreciate author for writing something out of the box. Initially, I was expecting it to be a grammar book but I was partially wrong. Indeed, it is a grammar one but with a touch of fictional story. Each chapter taught me the importance of vocabulary.

Talking about the plot, I found it a bit cliché, male doctor falling for a female assistant, typical bollywood feel. Language has been kept easier so that all readers and non readers can read it without facing much issues. I loved the way he developed his characters, especially the assistant part, young and always exciting.
Narration is fast paced, a plus point for me.
Being a 40 page read, it can be picked up by anyone.

Speaking SKills by Dr. Vinay Bansal

Kindle, Pages: 40

⭐ Rating: 5/5

At first when I read the title of the book I thought it would be something related to English Language but damn I was wrong. And I am glad I was. So without further ado let me tell you about the book.

This book is basically about communication skills, it's lost essence in today's world. How we have forgotten to communicate with kindness, empathy, solidarity and love with each other. Miscommunication has taken its roots in our system and often we don't even put efforts to understand those around us and keep our focus onto ourselves, turning into narcissistic beings. Author has tried to teach us communication skills with the touch of a story.

The story revolves around Dr. Bakshi, professor of psychology and Kritika, his apprentice, who has been recently appointed in the top-secret project to build a humanoid robot - SAMA, who would be able to communicate and work like any normal human, maybe even better.

Dr. Bakshi felt that humans were slowly turning into robots, but if he could make a Robot communicate properly, he could help humans too. The robot would retain every method in the universe that could facilitate better communication and after it becomes proficient, it could be used to teach the world how to converse again, without missing out on anything.

This book covers topic like Dissolving Ego, Self relationship, what to say, how to say etc. Learning from this book was a joyous ride. I really loved the lessons taught with stories to connect with. Language is coherent and comprehensible.

Author has done a wonderful job in bringing up the most desired topic out in front. We have learned how to talk but learning how to communicate is still a long way to go. Really appreciate author's efforts.

Communication is the backbone of our society. It allows us to form connections, influence decisions, and motivate change. It is important to speak in such a way that your message is clearly heard and, if possible, acted upon.
Now we all know how to speak and converse as that is something we had been taught since our childhood. But still, everyone at some point in their lives, feel that they need to become better communicator. People end up saying the wrong things at the wrong time, which would stay with them forever.

You all must be thinking that this one would be a non fiction self help book. Even I thought the same at first. But this book represents all the points through a fictional story which makes it more interesting than the other self help books.

The story of this book revolves around a psychologist, Dr. Bakshi, who is working on making the world's first humanoid-robot in order to resolve the issues of communication. Dr. Bakshi found himself an assistant, Kritika, who is tasked with the important role of humanizing this robot. With each chapter, author teaches us that the right combination of words and gestures can inspire people, spur them into action, and get them to dedicate themselves to a cause.

I liked how author has also talked about mental health. The title of the book is apt as author is trying to convey the message that Speaking might Kill. This is a short read of about 40 pages which can be read within an hour. The character development didn't feel that appealing to me but that can be understood due of the short length of the book.
Other than that it's a great read and kudos to author for combining two genres in an amazing way!

A short read

Cover is intelligently designed with two faces one is smiling & other is sad.with two distinguish colours to make this cover simple & eye catching.

The book is about an humanoid robot SAMA.
.
Prof Bakshi a psychologist by profession always wanted to make a robot but never got a chance to do so.
.
But this time he got an assistant Kritika who is a software engineer collaborated with Prof Bakshi to make a robot who can communicate easily with people easily without any language barrier.
.
In the process of making it , he shared many of his experiences & deep knowledge about life with kritika which she will programmed in SAMA. But these life lessons worked like a miracle for kritika as she has many ups & downs in her life.
.
To know more about it grab the book & give it a try.

🙂 A intelligently designed cover with nice title & appealing blurb to create a good first impression for readers.
🙂 The plot line is a nice one with a blend of SciFi & life lessons that make the book an absolute apt read.
🙂The writing style of the book is good neatly written with good word play within 40 odd pages to make it a worth read. The language also well complimented the storyline as its just tried to replicate the emotions each characters have in this book.
🙂 Minimal characters which are well developed with equal importance adds a positive point in this book.
🙂A fast paced book.

As we're all aware of the fact that language is an essential tool of communication for humans. Because it not only helps building confidence & relationships, but it also builds fluency. To be able to achieve that - one must understand the structure of the language in order to give an outlook & output while at the same time maintaining a sharp performance for effective communication. It improves the key needed to succeed in a substantial manner; where listening & speaking play an important aspect in developing a healthy learning ability.

This is a very short book which focuses on all the salient points mentioned above. And this is done with the help of Humaniod Robots. Furthermore, the story extrapolates on dream of a psychologist named Dr.Bakshi who always wanted to create an artificial mind which will study the human psychology. He never had the right opportunity nor tools being with. Not until, one fine day, he got the chance to work with a software engineer named Kritika - they were able to create the first ever humanoid robot namely Sama.

With the help of advance robotic engineering technology, Artificial Intelligence (AR) & coding - they feeded the robot everyday with basic information, knowledge & essential skills of human communication. To know further what happens next, kindly read the book. The language is simple, easy to use & understand. The idea is unique. The only drawback being it lacks the impact which may leave readers wanting for more. Otherwise, it's an okay read!

There is a difference between speaking and effective communication, Speaking Skills is a book weaved around this thought. Effective communication is a key to success and can help you stay away from disappointments, confusions and heartbreaks.
Prof. Bakshi, a psychologist, is working on a robot SAMA that can communicate like humans, rather it is being developed to develop better communication skills in humans who speak different languages. Kritika, a software engineer is assisting him to program that robot. She has been going through rough times with his father. While working on SAMA with Dr. Bakshi, she manages to resolve some of her personal issues too.
📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚
Here are some of the key points of the book.
😍 A self-help book in the form of a story is always a great idea as stories have greater appeal among masses.
.
😍Surroundings make a profound effect on communication. A calm, serene and happy surroundings leads to a better communication.
.
😍It is important to build a relationship with oneself to have better relationships with others. Your happiness lies within you.
.
😍The language of the book is simple and effective, making it appealing to most of the readers.
.
😍Cover could have been better, however title makes it an instant pick as everyone needs to learn this skill.
.
Overall, this short, light read offers many more life lessons along with ways to develop the speaking skills.

The book revolves around Dr.Bakshi , a scientist, expert in human behaviour ,living in Chandigarh and his apprentice Kritika.
They both are working on dream project of Dr.Bakshi , that is creating SAMA.
SAMA ,a humanoid robot who would be able to communicate and work like any normal human, maybe even better.
Dr.Bakshi got interested in making of SAMA after pandemic when mental and psychological state of humans declined. He thought that the exact cause of this pandemic was not just a virus; it was a deep-rooted problem in the way we, humans, communicate.
To sum it up, Dr.Bakshi thought that humans were slowly turning into robots , but if he could make a Robot communicate properly, he could help humans too.

With many failures and trails , Dr.Bakshi and Kritika are successful in creating SAMA. They could teach a robot to feel and respond in a way even humans of today find difficult. SAMA felt emotions like empathy, kindness and solidarity .

Interesting take on pandemic and turning it into positive pillar.
The book talks about communication issues with a story in background. A mixture of fiction and self help that I liked reading .
Author wants to convey how we lack in communication nowadays.
As the title says, this book doesn't teach you basic speaking skills but encourage you to communicate and express yourself more. It teaches you how words can change everything .
It's a good book for spending your time on and learning new things .

Speaking Skills📓

By Dr. Vinay Bansal

Genre - Self-help and personality development

Pages - 40

My Ratings - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
“You can speak well if your tongue can deliver the message of your heart.”

Speaking skills is a type of personality development book in which the author tried to teach us about Speaking Skills or how we can communicate with each other confidently. We all are aware of speaking and make our own words to communicate but not all people know how to speak confidently without making any mistakes which can lead us to disappointment. Dr. Vinay Bansal worked out on this issue to make it more convenient for everyone who wanted to correct their speaking skills on his 40 pages book.

Dr. Bakshi, a psychologist who is working on a Humanoid Robot named SAMA. He with his assistant Kritika was working on the project to make SAMA a successful Humanoid by putting all human emotion and communicating skill so that a Robot can work better than Humans. During their work, Dr. Bakshi resolves many difficulties by using his life experiences and solved the issues of Kritika's life too by communicating with her and make a bond with her by teaching her to love herself first.

The author makes it more expressive by combining self-help book in a fictional way so that a story can speak louder and gives more impact on oneself. I like the author's way of expressing his point of view in the form of a short and simple story.

How you behave and talk to an unknown matter. Maybe you will not be meeting that person again in your life, but it is important. What to speak, how to speak, or present your opinions in front of an unknown is also an art. Communication is a very important part of everyone's life. It not just makes you confident in front of an unknown but also teaches and motivates you.

The book revolves around a psychologist, Dr.Bakshi who is working on the world's first humanoid-robot, SAMA, developed to make communication easier. Along with Dr. Bakshi, there is a software engineer named Kritika who is working with him and programming the robot. Kritika is having some family issues but working with Dr. Bakshi on this project has sorted many things in her life. Both of them are working towards adding emotions to the robot. In this way, `author has tried to explain the importance of feelings, emotions, and behaviors. Each word has been written in such a way that made the book quite gripping till the end. Although after reading the title, I was expecting something else from the book. But this direction to the book is not bad.

The author has written the whole book so superbly. This book is a direct and to-the-point sort of reading. It is not a self-help book but yes, I can add this book under self-help and science fiction. The language used is lucid and the cover is very simple. This book has just 40 pages so you can end it in one sitting.

We have been taught since childhood how to speak and converse with each other but as technology advanced we have lost the human touch and our emotional bonding with each other and forgot how to express ourselves.

Speaking correctly can win a thousand hearts but if we converse inappropriately it can damage the relationships with our closed ones, affect our professional life and personal life and our peace of mind. This book helps us in polishing or relearning those skills that we already have but have not been using correctly.

This book gives us an insight into human behaviour and speaking skills through a fictional story. Dr. Bakshi, a professor of psychology along with his assistant is working on a humanoid robot that is better at communication and can teach humans the right way of communicating with each other. The author throughout the book shows us the importance of conversing correctly along with emotional aspects and what and how to speak and how not to speak.

This is my third book of the author and I liked the way the author narrates the story and gives us valuable suggestions for self-improvement. The story reminded me of the movie Robo, and the humanoid robot Chitti. The title is very apt to the story as one can see through the book how speaking incorrectly kills the relationships. Overall a very good self-help book on speaking skills.

A book that teaches us the nuances of right communication.

My ratings: 4.5/5
SAMA is a new age AI robot being built to bridge the communication gaps between human beings. While making her, Dr. Bakshi teaches his IT intern Kritika, what kind of data and software to feed into SAMA to make the robot a success. In the process, he ends up teaching Kritika (and us as the readers) some of the best lessons about speaking and communication.

What I liked about the book:
—> It teaches self help and life lessons via a fictional story.
—> We can also easily relate to the character of Kritika who is battling some personal life issues and how it affects her professional life.

Quotable quotes :
—> We learn how to speak at the mere age of 1, but we don't know what to talk about until the very end.
—>Humans tend to stay closer together in case of danger.
—> Once your relationship with self is strong, your relationship with others will strengthen.
—> Studies say that we tend to overthink in silence and find peace in chaos.
—> Everyone has something different they can teach us.
—> Words, once spoken, cannot be taken back; once written, they can be edited.
—> Everyone is entitled to their opinion, which is an influence of their lifestyle and upbringing.

Communication and speaking are two different concepts that we fail to distinguish. We speak often but we fail to communicate correctly. The book Speaking skills is a different kind of book that emphasises on the speaking skills with a lovely story. The story is about Dr. Bakshi who has been working on creating a Robot that can help people fill their gaps with communication and speaking. For this he hires an IT intern , Kritika. Kritika having some personal issues in her life learns a lot from Dr. Bakshi while working on the project. Dr. Bakshi guides Kritika what data and software to use for their AI powered robot SAMA and how the data to be given to it. The story reveals multiple learnings as a story to its readers. I loved a few quotes in this book which I would like to mention:
# We learn how to speak at the mere age of 1, but we don't know what to talk about until the very end.
# Your happiness is not someone else’s responsibility. It’s your very own.

The cover of the book is brilliant. The language used is simple and easy to understand. The story's plot seems flat and predictable to the readers. Characters of both Kritika and Dr. Bakshi are strong. Being a short read it can be completed in 1 hour. Definitely recommended for those who are looking for some different kind of book to read.

As suggested by the title, this book is about speaking skills! If you want to be a good orator or face problems while communicating then this book should definitely be your pick!

With a fictional story of a professor Dr.Bakshi and his dream project, author has emphasised the importance of good communication skills, expression of emotions in an era where people express everything by emojis!
So Dr.Bakshi always wanted to work on a humanoid robo who would guide people in developing or relearning the speaking skills - the way to talk, what to talk and how to talk! Due to pandemic he got to fulfill his dream project where Kritika, an engineer was assisting him! As we progress through the book and story develops we come across with life lessons, wisdom!
In just 40 pages we get to know, learn a lot!

Wisdom, guidance moulded in the form of fictional story makes it interesting as well as helping! Written in lucid language, perfect narration and with tech setting this book really engage the readers very well! Cover is perfect and title is very well justified!

Author has talked about the impact of words - how they can turn friends to foes and foes to friends! And many of us don't actually realise this and some even after realising can't apply this properly!
For this I think everyone should read this book!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The concept of the book is really very interesting! The cover is beautifully designed and initially I thought this is going be a non fiction read about how to enhance one's communication skills. But this book turned out to be quite different. Yes it still aims at improving one's speaking and communicating skills but in this book the whole thing has been presented through a fictional story and thus the writings doesn't seem to be mere theoretical collection of words, rather they appear more relatable, understandable and helpful. The story opens with Dr. Bakshi, a Psychologist, Professor and a Scientist and his assistant, Kritika who are working on a project to develop SAMA, a humanoid robot with the aim that it'll help facilitate smoother and effective communications among humans. Even though this is a short read, its charm lies in its uniqueness. What has amused me the most is that the author not only emphasizes on communication with other people but also he highlights the fact that we should maintain a stable communication with our inner self in order to attain mental stability and lead a better life. The narration is quite engaging, though some parts felt a little repetitive. The language is simple and lucid and the approach is very reader-friendly.
Overall I really loved this book!
A must read for all!

MY RATING- 4.2/5 STARS
" once your relationship with self is strong, your relationship with others will strengthen, and you would no longer need them to fill your void"
this compact read of 40 pages is very insightful and informative to each and every human being alive, no matter what age group they fall in because everybody of any age faces failure during conversation in any respected language, at any point of their lives about and regarding their thoughts. The author has done his job so thoughtfully and perfectly that this tiny 40 pages book is enough to nurture and enhance your thought process and way of communication towards others. Kritika's character has been bought up so well that any young individual who is eager to learn anything in life can look upto her. and kritika's professor has taught both her and the readers various ways to express and improve our thinking, i like how he emphasized self love and happiness, being true to ourselves and never to judge anybody by seeing their only one single action. Their is a part where professor tells us about carrying a book with us or have music as a companion that will keep us happy from within.
very educative read, everybody should refer this once in their life, and the plus point is you can complete it in one sitting only, and will be learning a lot of lessons aswell.

Speaking sKills written by Dr Vinay Bansal is a mix of self-help and a part of science fiction which features a story of a psychologist, Dr Bakshi. The story revolves around the main protagonist who is working on an invention of the world’s first humanoid robot designed to resolve the issues of communication. Dr Bakshi develops the robot with a better communication skill than human and he does that with one of his female assistants who is a software engineer and she assists in programming the robot. The story revolves around these main characters and the robot is programmed to understand human emotions and feelings. The book is structured well with each chapter designed to explain the reader about the importance and value of the words that are used in the communication and the way it impacts the human emotions.
I appreciate the author’s efforts in bringing in various important lessons on effective communication through a fictional story and thereby it makes the reader too easy to understand and keeps motivated throughout the book. It is a very short read comprised of just 40 pages and it can be completed in a single sitting. The writing style is simple and the flow of the story is smooth. Overall, it was a nice read and I would recommend this for every fictional lover and those who are interested in a quick read. I rate this book with 4 out of 5 stars.

"SAMA passed the trial. She was ready to teach humans how to be humans again"(Quoted from the text). Whomever sees the cover page will surely think this book as a communication book by seeing the title 'Speaking skills'. Yes! It is a communication book but I would say it as a workmanship. The thought of creating the book is appreciable and I can see the manouvering art of author's writing. Whenever a story is said we used to sit and hear mouths wide open but when a proverb is said abruptly we don't lend our ears. The journey of Dr. Bakshi and kritika in creating a humanoid robot and teaching communication methods like a story within a story method is amazing. In that way this book is a success for me. Since the language is lucid we can also suggest this books for children. Important quoted impressed me are,

1. we go on feeding our Ego, it grows bigger and bigger, until one day it eats us whole.

2. your happiness is not someone else’s responsibility. It’s your very own.

Mouse and the saint, relationship with your father, attracting positivity and happiness, what to say, how to say and in the end where both of creates SAMA who passes the test and now ready to teach humans how to be humans again. ( As I already already mentioned it before). Give a try to this piece of work, a must read one.

This follows Dr Bakshi, psychologist who along with his assistant, Kritika are entrusted to build a humanoid robot, SAMA, that could not only resemble like a human but also be able to convey emotions as well. The emphasis of having a communication has been given total focus. We have always known the power that words carry, they have been known to heal and destroy anything and everything. By communication, we can essentially diminish the possibility of error. As the book's timeframe matches to the present pandemic situation, Dr. Bakshi critically provides a theorem that would eliminate the barriers of communications.

While this a short, light book, it is nonetheless brimming with messages and lessons that everyone can learn from. Not only that, his assistant Kritika's sub story also added much more strength to the plot. The writing style is lucid and definitely engaging. Dr Bakshi, as a character will definitely leave a mark on my mind because of his personality and keen sense of handling every situation with thoughtfulness and perseverance. I think it was the title that got my eye and I didn't even realise the core values of communications being a vital representation in our daily lives until now. This is a well written book and it has surpassed all my expectation that I had when I picked it up.
