Karen Fischer is a nutritionist, writer and an award-winning author with extensive experience in television, radio, event hosting and print. Karen’s first book The Healthy Skin Diet won ‘Best Health, Nutrition or Specific Diet Book’ at the 2008 Australian Food Media Awards and it's now a bestseller.
Karen loves to write and has worked as a contributor for Wellbeing Magazine, Practical Parenting, Madison Magazine, Sydney Morning Herald and was a health columnist for Cosmopolitan Magazine.
Karen specialises in general skin health and eczema, and she designs recipes and meal plans to treat a variety of skin disorders. Currently, Karen does online health programs for eczema sufferers and she will be holding eczema workshops in Sydney shortly.
Most of these recipes won’t turn out or will taste horrible. There is just no way they’d turn out for anyone even following the recipe exactly. Select few recipes were actually really good (and I mean they were outliers). The cashew cream and vegan mayo were the most helpful recipes. Ironically too a lot of these recipes let to me having extreme stomach aches
