I found this book at Barnes and Noble and it was on clearance...I picked it up and I did my '1TimeThing' where I read one thing from the book to see if it's a good one. I was extremely impressed from the one thing I picked out from the MIDDLE of the book, so I purchased it and LOVE IT! I'll be making a blog post soon about my favorite tips from this book! A great find! The ONE thing I read from the middle was,
When your child is interrupting an adult conversation, don't embarrass them by telling them, "not now" or "you need to wait your turn" or "you're not being polite" Instead think of a signal or sign that just you and your son/daughter know so that they know they're not being polite, or that they need to wait their turn. Brilliant!
Mostly a bunch of mumbo jumbo but it does give some cute activity ideas. Our favorite was the "I like me board. " It's worth checking out, especially if you have little little ones.
