Cute, beginning reader written from the perspective of a well-loved cat who has adventures playing with her toys and looking out the window while her person is at school. The text appears in both English and Spanish, so it would be ideal for bilingual education. Nice modeling of compassionate care of a pet, as well.

Very cute beginning reader book that is in both English and Spanish. Not a meaty plot but still fun to read. I covered up the English and tried to figure out what was happening with the Spanish (I did take a few years of Spanish in high school but it’s been a while). That made me feel like some of my beginning readers might feel when they read (I was using picture clues, context clues, etc).

I like how it's in both Spanish and English. I think that's a fun way for someone - whether a child or an adult - to learn and practice learning Spanish or English. The fact that the book is about a cat is a bonus. Who doesn't love a story about cats!

I read this because I can speak conversational Spanish very well, but my reading skills are so lacking! This is a cute and quick little read. I like how the little girl in the book is brown.
