This set is INCREDIBLE. Our son received it when he was 4 and this has really helped him gain confidence in starting to read, and it’s allowed us to have conversations around patterns, compound words, diphthongs and common consonant combinations (st, str, ch, ing, etc.

It is not our only reading tool, but it has certainly been an mvp on our journey. The stories have fun rhymes and I like that there are usually two books in each level so that if they don’t gravitate toward one story, there’s a choice. Our son is now 4 1/2 and he’s already up around level 6 or 7 in the beginning section. We go at his pace and there are several which he likes to reread. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this set!

Great for little kids! My brother loved the wolves, rabbits, lions, and copying the fun things that the characters did!

Highly recommend for all the little kids who like animals and rhymes!

This is a collection of 50 books meant to help kids learn how to read. We got this series for my daughter when she started speech therapy to help with her reading. She loved them to start with, but was more interested in the story books than the actual learning books. The series comes with essentially 3 sections to browse through.

Section 1: 20 books numbered from level 1-15 for the "Very First Reading" series. These titles include:

1. Pirate Pat
2. Double Trouble
3. The Dressing-Up Box
4. Captain Mac
5. A Bus for Miss Moss
6. The Perfect Pet
7. Dog Diary
8. Bad Jack Fox
9. Grizzly Bear Rock
10. The Magic Ring
11. A Fright in the Night
12. The Queen Makes a Scene
13. The Deep Dark Woods
14. Stop That Cow!
15. Moon Zoom
16. Run, Rabbit, Run!
17. Late Night at the Zoo
18. Wild School
19. The Circus Under the Sea
20. The Monster Diner
21. Knight Fight
22. Mr. Mystery

Section 2: A collection of 12 level 1 reading books with short stories, including:

1. The Wish Fish
2. The Rabbit's Tale
3. The Greedy Dog
4. The Fox & the Stork
5. Old MacDonald Had a Farm
6. King Midas & the Gold
7. The Lion & the Mouse
8. The Fox & the Crow
9. Anansi & the Bag of Wisdom
10. The Ang & the Grasshopper

Far and away the best "Readers" for us! The first 20ish books are shared reading between the parent and child. This allows the stories to be more interesting while still letting the kids practice! The "Level 1" and "Level 2" readers also seem good - a mix of fables and tales he's already somewhat familiar with (King Midas, an Anansi story, several Aesop's fables, etc.) that make the reading less intimidating.
