Firstly, I would like to say that this book is a valuable resource for anyone looking to improve their financial management skills. The author, Pranjal Kamra, has done an excellent job of breaking down complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand language that can be easily applied in real life.

One of the things that set "Mint Your Money" apart is its practical approach. The author provides actionable advice that readers can immediately put into practice to improve their financial situation. From creating a budget to investing wisely, Kamra covers a range of topics that are essential to financial success.

Another aspect of the book that I appreciate is its accessibility. The language used is simple and straightforward, making it easy for readers of all ages and backgrounds to follow along. Additionally, the author uses real-life examples and case studies to illustrate key concepts, which helps to make the content more relatable and engaging.

While it's true that some topics covered in "Mint Your Money" are similar to those in Monica Halan's book, I would not say that this is a downside. In fact, I believe that the two books complement each other nicely, and reading both can provide a more comprehensive understanding of personal finance.

Overall, I would highly recommend "Mint your Money" to anyone looking to improve their financial literacy and take control of their finances. The practical advice, accessible language, and relatable examples make it a valuable resource for readers of all backgrounds and experience levels.

💰This book introducing simple finance basics that can help you to familiarise yourself with money, learn simple savings techniques to adopt good spending habits, and help you to set up what you want to achieve in life.

💰Understanding the balance of income and expenses helps to ensure that bills are paid on time and holidays are jetted off.

💰There are two core values of this book. One is the techniques and tools to growing your wealth and another is the financial management which includes; investment, taxation and insurance policies etcetera.

💰These books give a solid background and create a mental picture in your head about how to manage various finance products available in the industry. In the bigger picture of Personal Finance, this books tells you where smaller pieces of puzzles like mutual funds, short-term funds, credit cards, home loans, car loans and other loans.
You learn how to make a balanced finance profile. In general, you become more financially literate.

💰For me, it was not that exclusive book because I've read more than ten financial books so to be very honest it was somewhere analogous to other books. Though, this is simple and precise in approach.

Salient Features:

💰Dedicated chapter on cash flow.

💰Valuable illustrations for simple understanding.

Book: Mint Your Money
Author: Pranjal Kamra

A nicely written book gives a good picture of how one should manage their finance in real life. This book targets a middle-class audience as it is them who have to deal with the cash crunch. The book uses relatively easy English. There is not much financial jargon used which makes a perfect read for anyone and everyone. The book is divided into sections, each of which plays a vital role in securing our financial future. The book comprises the following modules:
1) Wealth Creation
2) Debt
3) Investment
4) Taxation
5) Insurance
6) Mis-selling
I will give a more detailed review of each section as I have a special love for Pranjal Sir and personal finance.

Q) Which modules did I find the best?
A) I found the taxation module the best as I have looked at many youtube videos on the rest of the modules.

Q) Is this book worth a read?
A) Definitely, yes (You got me, am an MSD fan). The book gives all the personal finance notes in one place.

Q) One of the primary reason one would not love to read the book?
A) The book, as mentioned earlier, gives insights into the basics of personal finance. The ones who already have had themselves alert in this area would find this book a boring read. This book sums up the basics of the five modules mentioned above.

After debuting with his book “Investonomy: The Stock Market Guide That Makes You Rich,” Pranjal Kamra comes back with another book following the same genre in “Mint Your Money: An Easy Manual to Unlocking Your Wealth-Creating Potential.” As the title clearly suggests, the book is about how you can become wise in monetary terms by learning the mechanics of the money market through the experience of Kamra, who has done extensive research in the field.
Dividing the book into 6 modules, the author explains the concepts involved in the area of money making, which would be a groundbreaker for those who want to start their journey in learning the art of making money through sources that would otherwise not be considered primary.
“Mint Your Money” would be a rescue guide in a time when people are facing a lot of financial troubles due to the pandemic effects. People already following the popular YouTuber would find a plethora of Kamra’s learning in the book, which would help as a guide not just to the present generation but also to the coming generations of the future. Due to the nature of its content, “Mint Your Money” cannot be restricted to any particular set of readers and it is recommended to all who want to secure themselves financially

Good for newbie investors.

Pranjal Kamra is a successful youtuber, author and CEO of Finology.

This book contains lots of basic information, written in crisp and easy language for beginners in the investment area. However it's not suitable for seasoned investors because they might already know most of the things explained in the book. It's suitable for readers who wish to create passive income with their savings instead of letting that money set aside for nothing. If the reader doesn't yet plan to invest, this book will certainly convince to start investing.

It has easy and understandable examples all the way, and illustrations to explain the facts and figures. It's written with keeping in mind the Indian needs and Indian finance environment.

Divided into six modules - Wealth Creation, Debt, Investment, Taxation, Insurance and Mis-Selling.

It's an easy manual to learn about the importance of putting the idle money to work and start investing wisely. It tells about those small steps we can take to make huge positive changes in our lives later on.

The cover is as attractive as the contents inside.

Mint Your Money by Pranjal Kamra is a guide to finance management, a really informative read that would let you know all there is to know about finance, the book starts out by telling why is it important to save money and then suggests several way we can save as well as multiply them by opting for safer plans with higher returns.

There are better alternatives available which we are not aware of hence this lack of knowledge keeps us from taking advantage of them, however in that case reading this book will come in rescue, it will guide you to plan your finance tactfully.

Also it talks in length about investing in shares and mutual funds, how you can benefit from them and churn out an extra income without lifting a finger, but that too requires a good amount of research and reading this will help you have an idea in this arena.

Overall, I loved the book. I don't think I have ever read something as informative as this, it kind off changed my perception on non-fiction books. I realised how useful they can be if read methodically, like not reading in chunks and giving some time to let the information sink in so that you remember to bring them in to practice.

This is a really good book for beginners i.e. people lacking financial knowledge. Pranjal has covered a lot of important topics:
Savings,
Budgeting,
Debt (both good as well as bad debt),
Mutual Funds,
Taxes,
Insurance, etc.

People who wish to go deeper, can but other books on this individual topics but yes this books gives a good start for those who wish to understand from scratch and build on that knowledge.

Pranjal has very nicely put suggestions (I assume, the advice he follows) at multiple places across the book.

It covers basics.
Good for those who are just starting to learn investing for wealth creation.
After reading books like Master Your money by Abhishek Kumar, this looks like too basic.
Last few chapters are written in a hurry to complete the book.
