An injured Hatsuki runs into Mikoto who spares her life only because Dog points out that she has amnesia. But it doesn't take long before an unnamed middle ogre (later referred to as Chuki) jogs her memory and she realizes she's trapped between two sides in a war and both want her dead... so long as she's an ogre. So Hatsuki pulls out her own horn, changes her name to Millia and joins Mikoto the same way Carrot joined Sally.
Then we follow Chuki who runs into Sumeragi and the Ogre God (she's equal parts adorable and menacing) and this is where we start to get a glimpse at Sumeragi's master plan. Only a glimpse though, cause this guy seems like a stereotypical closed-eyed anime creep who will lie and manipulate until he succeeds in his master plan.
Also there's this new ogre named Todoroki who has a crush on Carrot, but that drama gets put on hold so Hawthorn can fight in a tournament. Am I the only one who thinks this story turns on a dime?
This series has 16 volumes.
