An interesting analysis of a terrible miscarriage of justice propelled by a thirst for revenge that was ramped up by the unscrupulous media of the time (have they really changed that much?).
It was interesting to see how Al Capone was linked to the case and this provided a reminder of the context of the period, with gangsterism, police and political corruption and the steady build-up to WWII.
