Where is Charlie (crocodile)?
Is he hiding in a tree? No, he can’t climb.
Charlie is not allowed in restaurants.

Is he at the zoo?

I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) crocodile storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s Bilingual crocodile movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

Thank you for the free author(s); planetOh books; 1st edition; FreeBooksy; HiddenGemBooks; Amazon Digital Services LLC. Kindle Mobi; book

Where is the Silly Little Croc?

The little crocodile in this book is just darling, depicted with sweet or humorous looks. In the book, we are trying to find the little crocodile, but we first attempt to find him in places he should not be, like up a tree or in a restaurant. The author puts him into some pretty funny scenarios, sometimes depicting what might have been if the croc had been allowed to do the action. At the end of the book, the author provides a few coloring pages taken from an image from earlier in the book. This coloring page shows both the original, full-color version and a blank one for the child to color himself or herself. If you have a child who is bilingual in English and Chinese—or is learning to be—this book will probably be amusing and helpful.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

The title of this book makes me think of "Where's Waldo?" But it's different. It starts out with pictures where the crocodile, Charlie, is not seen. Then it goes to drawing Charlie in unusual situations for a crocodile and saying that wouldn't happen. It seems like a story shift. I do like the coloring book portion at the back of the book for young children to color their own crocodile. If I were reading this to a young child, I would make sure we took the time to look at each picture before reading the accompanying text. I give it 3 out of 5 stars because I liked the coloring book activity.

Artwork appealing, story a bit confusing🐊

This storybook is colorful and contains pictures that would keep a child's interest with lots of animals and bits of scenery that can be used to quiz preschoolers and expand their vocabulary. The print version even includes some coloring pages at the end. The story has some inconsistency that may bother an adult more than a child. In the search for the crocodile, he appears in some places and situations where the text says he would not be. And the text could have taken better advantage of the extra elements in the pictures; the story ignored other animals in the pictures, for example, and only focused on the crocodile.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the English/Chinese Bilingual edition; this is my voluntary and honest review.

This is a sweet little story, beautifully illustrated by Antonio Pahetti, looking for a little crocodile. My niece and I really enjoyed it (though we did laugh about the fact that the crocodile WAS doing some of the activities in the pictures, when the words said he wasn't!), and though we don't speak Spanish, we had fun trying to guess how the words would be pronounced. It's a great story for all young children, but for bilingual families it will be extra special, and would be good practice for those learning Spanish to read with their kids too.
NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions

I received a digital ARC for an honest review.
While the story was cute, and I loved the illustrations, some of the pictures were confusing as the text read "is the crocodile here? no!" despite his being included in the picture.
I liked the fact that this was in multiple languages and is great for children learning English/Spanish, or as an introduction to other languages. The translations were not word-for-word, and I may have translated some phrases differently, but they captured the essence/meaning of the story.

Charlie the crocodile is missing! Where can he be? Everyone is searching for him. They have no idea where he could have gone to. Can Charlie drive a car? Everyone keeps looking for hi m. Do you know where Charlie is?

This repetitive and easy to read book will keep the littles engaged in the story. I found the illustrations just sensational. They are part of what the littles will love about this book. It's really two gifts in one. A book to read and a search and find game. Check this one out.

I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5. copy of book provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed it.

This book has a cute concept, storyline and illustrations. However, if you or your child do not have a basic understanding of Chinese, it would be impossible to teach him/her through this book, as it does not link the Chinese characters to the English words. As such, it is unclear what age range would work for this book, as the English portion of the book is perfect for a 2-3 year old, but the Chinese portion would be perfect for a 5-7 year old.

I received this book for free, and I am voluntarily writing this review.

This is a cute story with some simple text that has a repetitive pattern. Some of the pictures did not quite go with the story which could be confusing for a child. The colors in the illustrations were nice. I did not like the font. The apostrophe and the letter k were just plain weird and confusing for young children who are 4-6 and might be reading this book on their own. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

The illustrations are cute and kept my four year old son entertained, but the story was confusing. There would be pictures with the crocodile clearly in it, but the accompanying text would read "nope, he's not in there" or something like that. It was just odd and so confusingly written, I'm beginning to wonder if it was simply a failure in translation since the author is a German native.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Where is My Crocodile? Was a fun and entertaining story by Ingo Blum, a fun interactive story that young kids love. I know this because my three year old grandson loved it and thought the pictures were fun to look at and the crocodile was a cute character.
The book was easy to follow and an easy read for an older sibling to read to younger siblings. I absolutely loved and recommend this great book.

This children's story is a highly interactive one as the reader goes on a journey to find Charlie, the missing crocodile.
With colourful illustrations and a fun story this was a nice read.
Although my review copy was solely in English, the print edition of this is also a bilingual book in both English and German, which I feel is a nice bonus too.

I read this one with my 3-year-old niece and she had a lot of fun looking at all the colorful pictures. She interacted with the story answering each question about Charlie and seemed to find the idea of him driving a car quite funny. It was easy to read and kept a 3-year-old's attention.

This is a cute story about a lost crocodile, and where he was finally found. It would be ideal for children to hear and look at the illustrations included; plus there is a few coloring pages to color included.

I did not read the whole title so I was confused because it didn’t sound like Spanish. Afterwards I realized it was French. My little one thought it was an okay book. It was a quick read.

Where is the Sweet Baby Crocodile?

This book features an absolutely darling baby crocodile. The author poses questions about where the little Crocodile might be in both English and Italian. The illustrations are brightly colored and are sometimes humorous, especially the ones showing the little crocodile doing the actions we've just been told he cannot do (because he is a crocodile). I have little knowledge of Italian, so I cannot say whether this book’s Italian is accurate. After the story, the author provides a few illustrations that can be colored... and he has chosen ones that are totally adorable. If you have a young child who is learning Italian as a second language—or is even an adult who is learning Italian and likes whimsical children's books—she or he may very well enjoy this book.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

🎵Charlie!! Where Arrrre You yooou?🎵

Here is an exciting Indigo Blume book in easy to read large words written in English and Italian. There are pictures to color in the back of the print copy and one in the kindle edition. There are picture clues for each page. I highly recommend this book for 3-5 year olds, maybe even older kids getting to learn Italian.
Where is Charlie? Asked his mother. He is not in the garden. He is not in the restaurant. Crocodiles don't eat in restaurants. Where else does she look for him? Where else does she go? You get to read or listen and find out.
Fun!! Fun!! Fun!!
