The origin of the Omega Rangers is revealed in this final volume of Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers as one era ends… and another begins!

THE ORIGIN OF THE OMEGA RANGERS!

Tommy must step into his new role as the WHITE RANGER, and the leader of the Power Rangers, even as not everyone is convinced he’ll be able to lead like Jason did. With Lord Zedd seeking his ultimate weapon, will the remaining Rangers of Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy be able to hold him off? Will Zordon and Alpha Five be able to find worthy successors for a complete Power Rangers team?

Meanwhile, Jason, Trini, and Zack must step into their own new roles as they embark on their first mission as the OMEGA RANGERS off world. Will they be able to fend off a new galactic threat, make new allies, and embrace their destiny? In the end, every Power Ranger will need to say goodbye to everything they once knew, each other, and step boldly into a new era!

The writing duo of New York Times bestseller Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and the GLAAD Award-nominated Sina Grace (Iceman) join artists Francesco Mortarino (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and Eduardo Francisco (Adventures of Superman) for the final volume of Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers!

Go Go Power Rangers comes full circle as the Omega Rangers storyline comes to a head, and the Rangers will literally never be the same again. Go Go has always been about providing context, either to the original TV show or to goings on in the main MMPR ongoing, and this final arc of Necessary Evil does exactly that as we finally meet/re-meet some familiar faces. Meanwhile, Lord Zedd's up to his old tricks which will follow directly into the Power Rangers books once they relaunch.

I've always really enjoyed the way Go Go and MMPR interact, and this final volume's no exception. They're two very separate books telling very separate stories that you can enjoy on their own merit, but by reading them together, the whole experience is enhanced. I'm really glad Go Go will live on as Power Rangers, because we deserve to keep getting this kind of storytelling when it works this well.

The artwork is again by the wonderful Francesco Mortarino, who obviously impressed the comic gods as much as he impressed me since he is also continuing on as the Power Rangers artist post-relaunch too.

Go Go Power Rangers doesn't exactly Go Go out with a bang, but it once again proves why two Power Rangers series will always be better than one.

This volume catches you up with the Omega Rangers story and amps you up for what is to come after this! This story was fun, entertaining, full of action, and full of great character work. The art was all of those things, as well! Stupid excited to finish the last volume of MMPR and to continue on with the series after that!

What a fun and exciting way to end this run and segway into the next story. This series really blew me away with how good it was. I loved seeing the new group form and can't wait to see how their adventures continue. Parrott did an amazing job making me care about these characters and showing their human side. One of the better comics I have read in the last 5 years.

The first Go Go volume that I’ve given five stars to. Not that I haven’t enjoyed the others, because with one exception I really have, but it’s easy to give everything five stars when you’re reading a new story that really hits your nostalgia, so I deliberately kept my standards high and assumed that there was another level that these stories could hit. And I’m glad I did, because I felt this volume just pulled everything together and ended pretty much perfectly.

The Go Go volumes through the Necessary Evil storyline were all effectively flashbacks to what was happening in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (with the finale to that coming next), so we always knew broadly what was happening in Go Go. By the time of this volume there could literally be no surprises, and yet everything just seemed to resolve in exactly the right way. There were a couple of references to the show, but the brilliance of this is how this dealt with Jason, Trini and Zack’s excuse for leaving the team. In the show that was a cover because those actors wouldn’t agree to work without improved terms, and here it is a cover for them becoming the Omega Rangers. But the way that other members of the team deal with that excuse both reflects fans’ feelings at the time and just works perfectly from a character development angle in this story. It’s the first time that I have felt that Go Go has really elevated the events of the show into something new and original which remains true to its roots. The White Ranger origin story got close in that regard, but this was better, and the ending just felt perfect. So a five star end to a great series for me.

These two ongoing comic series have been a joy to read and now Go Go has come to an end. I've really enjoyed the asynchronous storytelling. The reveals have happened in such interesting ways. This volume serves as the final in the origin of the Omega Rangers. Kiya is introduced. We know how that'll go.

I love when the comic takes a moment from the original tv series and expands on it emotionally. Tommy has taken over as the leader and there's a discussion between Zordon and Jason about leadership that really hit me in the right way. Kim and Trini have a wonderful heart-to-heart and discuss their feelings. Another aspect of this series that I've loved is getting to learn more about the family life of the rangers. Jason continues to deal with his father's MS.

The scuba trip with the trio. The Peace Conference. It's all happening! This was a great ending to the series. This series focused on the more personal life of the rangers and I really hope we still get that aspect in Ryan's continuing series. I give this volume a 5/5.

4.5 stars, and part of that rating comes from my inner child. 90s kid or otherwise, this series is a home run. Although the 90s TV show doesn't hold up, this comic series is as good fun now as the TV show felt when I was a kid. A great run overall, and although the GGPR series is intertwined with the concurrent MMPR run, GGPR is much more consistent in quality. I can't wait to read some of the other works that Ryan Parrott has been involved with.

Having never watched much of the show, i had no clue where this was heading. I look forward to seeing where the next series is going. Half the team stayed on earth, half is going off saving the universe.

Love how this goes hand in hand with the MMPR series and how it answers questions that came from the MMPR series.

Yay! Another volume of this fantastic graphic novel of this wonderful series. We get to see some more of the reasons that part of the Mighty Morphin groups splintered off and became the Omega Rangers. I am really looking forward to reading further adventures of Jason, Zach and Trini. So many great comics, so little time! Great work Boom!

I'm all caught up!

This series was really great and added a lot of insight into things fans didn't get to see on the show as we were growing up.
