AMAZING ASTONISHING MESMERIZING, bro honestly.. i read this 2 times and i dont even read but this shit is just bussin that i will never be bored of it, i jump i scream i fangirl its crazy man, the plot, the characters and the interactions are all so well done AJSDJAJJA

To start, I'd like to say that it was a very good story overall. I give stars based on how much a book captivated my attention and this one had me neglecting my actual life all over the place. However, I do have a few...I don't want to call them complaints, so I suppose I'll call them disclaimers for future readers.
First off, the beginning is pretty cliche - tri-wizard tournament, harry feels abandoned, yada yada - and the writing doesn't feel like it has much depth. It's my opinion that there was a bit more telling than showing if you know what I mean.
However, and this is a big however, I didn't let this dissuade me. Once I got past the setup, the story started to dig in and establish some originality. Truly, the title is very apt. The decent is so slow, you barely realize it as the reader. At least, I didn't until I hit one particular chapter where I was like, Okay, damn. That was not a good guy thing to do, Harry, I'm not sure we can be friends anymore. But fear not! That scene is clearly marked and will not jump out at you like a rapist in the bushes!
I took a little break at this point but the story eventually drew me back in. And it starts getting good. Yeah, Harry's a touch crazy and yeah, Voldemort's still the guy who murdered his parents, but the romance manages to fly just under my bullshit-intolerance meter. It helps that the author seems to really settle into a groove at some point and the writing becomes nice and smooth.
All in all, very good and I am off to read the sequel.

Nějak mě zase chytlo HP FF. Well. :D
Tenhle mám ráda kvůli tomu, že představuje zajímavé nápady - Light Lord a Dark Lord, spojení duší. Je to poměrně jednoduchý příběh, ale pro ty nápady mě to bavilo.

Read this years ago when it was written. It was amazing then and its still as amazing today. This has withstood the test of time.
