Jon Eisenhart (Eyes) has been the team leader of the Special Ops team formed by Joseph Anderson to stamp out drugs in the Seattle metro area. In this riveting final we see the first four books come to an exciting end where the streets, neighborhoods, and families are freed from the seedy world of violence and drugs.

During the final book the culmination of the Andersons, the Special Ops team, and many other players come together to make the preeminent A team in driving out the crime that walked into their world and injured more than just one of their own.

All the while, Eyes gets in deeper than he thought with a battle he never imagined he'd have to fight - and definitely not when it comes to the arena of love. Will he be able to focus on the mission at hand while this breathtaking woman is now front and center in his life?

Follow Eyes, Sleep, Brackish, Smoke and Green on the last steps of this journey - showing what a team of true alpha males can accomplish when their focus is on the same goal and have all the resources they ever want.

A bit disjointed

If you hadn't read the previous books in this series, it would probably be difficult to follow. I think the author had some loose ends to tie up and tried to do it in this book.

End of the journey

There is a lot going on, and I felt that it was not a long enough book to show everything.  I really loved the bits about Jasmine, but we only got glimpses of her story, it only left me wanting more.  Same with Joseph and Katherine.  We got some really sad, but lovely pieces of them, but not enough.  What I wanted more than anything was to see more about the trial and everything that happened around it, but instead we get just a couple of scenes and the result, but we don't know exactly what happened.

Now for what I consider the main story, Eyes and Courtney.  It was fun to see them fumbling through their first dates, and then finally succumb to their relationship.  It was kind of fun reading about their troubled dates, but the shift from story to story made me lose interest of it.

I felt like it was so fractioned that I didn't get enough of the different plot lines that could have been a book on themselves.  By getting a lot of information, I feel I didn't get enough from each one of them.  The book left me wanting more, but not in a good way.

a little too saccharine and too messy

This could hardly be called Eyes’ book…I didn’t feel like I knew him or Courtney any better by the end. The “character building” was hollow. And there’s still unresolved things relative to this story. Katherine’s health, the Russian drug lord who lost billions, and who the heck Andrew was at the beginning. Among other things. We don’t know much about Eyes’ and Courtney’s plans other than to travel. Not sure what that means about the charity. And did her “Pulitzer” story ever publish? Seemed more like a marketing campaign than journalism. Anyway…not crazy about the heroine or hero in this one. Kind of a fizzle wrap to the series.

Great books

*This is a review of the all the five books in this series *
Great stories about love and the challenges all the couples has to go through to find their happy ending.
Many familiar characters makes their appearance.
The author’s writing style is easygoing and makes these books a joy to read.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
Lots of emotions
All this makes good books.

5 stars for the whole series.

Disappointing ending

I was confused where did Smoke's cat Stormy go, the one Eyes didn't like? Now Eyes has a cat named Sugar? This book starts with all the men smoking cigars but in a previous book Sleep doesn't smoke do to his issues from a previous gunshot that damaged a lung and Green gets sick from cigars but they seem to have forgotten. As in previous reviews I like the characters so I read the whole series but I skimmed alot. The couples love stories get lost with too many other stories being told and the endings are rushed. I did not like the ending, they have this wonderful, expensive facility and a top notch team but they're moving on and no longer working together. Two books ago two of the wives were pregnant but now they're drinking g at the wedding. Did they have their babies that could have been a humorous chapter. Still pregnant? Boy or girls? I enjoyed the primary couples but not the authors writing style, too many loose ends.

Special Ops, Special End to the Series

I loved meeting these 5 outstanding MEN and their special WOMEN. I've laughed and cried, been terrified, and impressed by the handling of real pain associated with Alzheimers. A big thank you to Melody Anne and John Henley for their series and of course, the love romance and vulnerability of heroes and heroines. Human and very believable.

Upset

This book was a difficult read for me. I couldn’t wait for it to come out and was disappointed. Eyes and Courtney were annoying and boring. Courtney especially made me skip through her segments. I always loved Katherine and to see her lose her memory was difficult. While I like the novels by this author, this one missed the mark for me. Glad it’s over!

I loved this series!!

I am sad that its over but the ending was perfect! These stories were truly hitting the world I live in and that in itself was spooky; as I am a person who like reading about a world that doesn't exist as opposed to my World😁 but Ms. Anne & Mr. Henley writing made reality livable!👍👍

Reborn

I love reading about the Anderson family and can not wait to start reading about the Anderson grandchildren. The special ops team added a level excitement to the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this series. There is so much negatively in our lives, it is nice to read about the good guys winning.

Outstanding Series!

I enjoyed reading this book!
These emotional characters were filled with a great amount of depth, their background gave so much more to the development of the storyline which is solid and a consistent page turner. The story flowed easily throughout the pages. A must read!

This is differently a recommended series to read!

I have read every book and wow. All of them make me wish I was friends with Joseph. What he did for each of these men and what these men did for the city. It a shame this couldn't happen in the real world, what these men did. I loved each and every book.

Loving Eyes

I like when the good guys win. The story this time was about Eyes and Courtney, along with Anna's last stand. Joseph is always being Joseph, and Smoke along with the crew are always there to save the day. Sleep, Brackish Green, Chad, Smoke and Eyes were and are a formidable group. Add the ladies to the mix, and you have one hellava great story.

Love this Series

I like how she closed up the storylines and gave Eyes a happily ever after at the same time. Made me anxious to hear more about Jasmine and the other grandkids though. More to come I hope!

This series started out 3 star, and it only got worse. Many parallel and superficial stories. And it just got worse.

Great ending to the series

This book was full of emotions for me. I was laughing and crying. Joseph is the best character of all time and his love knows no bounds. Every woman needs a man to love her like Joseph does his wife. Having him actually cry in this story was fitting. Watching someone u love lose themselves to Alzheimer has to be one of the hardest experiences. His words are beautiful. I love the special ops guys and how they work and act together. My favorite line in the story is "Sleep said as he ran his hand through his hair, making the glitter and paint mix, looking as if My Little Pony had just farted all over him.". Best line ever! You can picture it and I laughed. I didn't think it was fair eyes missed out on the fun. I was kind of disappointed that a joke wasn't played back on eyes after that. I don't want the series to end because I enjoy this group so much. This book wrapped up the series well. I admit I cried and laughed a few times. I look forward to seeing what next adventure is in store for us. Who else would fall in love after having so many bad dates? Their life will be adventurous if they can stay away from the hospital! Thanks Melody and John!

Concluding a Great Series

Eyes, also known as Jon Eisenhart, is the field leader of the private Special Ops group organized by Joseph Anderson to clean up Seattle. The special ops group is made up of four other top flight special operatives. During the missions carried out by this group all the men have met their special romantic someone's. Except Jon. Now it's his turn. He met Courtney Tucker years ago when he was a brash, young, egocentric SEAL. She was a determined, young, career- minded reporter looking for a great interview. Now the have both matured and have never forgotten that interview. Now they're both in Seattle, and Jon recognizes he wants Courtney. The development of their relationship is fun. The wrapping up of the loose (and sometimes corrupt) issues that the team has faced is fascinating to watch unfold. And, of course, the trials and tribulations of the Anderson family make this book heartfelt. Wonderful conclusion to a clever, intriguing and rewarding series.

The final book in the Special Ops Series rounds out the story. There are a lot of things going on in this final story. Jon "Eyes" Eisenhart has been the team leader of the Special Ops team formed by Joseph Anderson to stamp out drugs in the Seattle area. While his four other team members have found love Eyes has been trying to do his best to avoid it. He will find that he will not succeed as long as Joseph Anderson is involved. He and reporter Courtney Tucker have been dancing around each other for a while. Their first couple of dates will be disasters. In addition to finding love Eyes and the team will bring a final culmination to the world of violence and drugs that have riveted the city and bring down the force behind it.

While Joseph Anderson could not be more happy with their success he is also heartbroken with where things are leading with his life with his beloved Katherine and her medical diagnosis. But he is determined to spend every day appreciating what they have.

But it looks like this will not be the end of stories with Joseph Anderson meddling!

Justice?

It may take a while and it may not be what we expected but justice is finally served to Anna Miller, a vile excuse of a human that sends icy shivers down your spine.
Eyes also causes shivers but they are a very different, very sexy kind! He may be the group leader, and he may have met his sassy, whirlwind of a reporter years ago but it has taken Eyes longer than most to accept it is time to settle down. When they first met neither Jon nor Courtney were ready for the chemistry and the power of their attraction, they have tried to ignore it, they have tried flirting with each other and they have tried dating others...but nothing works....until they give in to the attraction and try dating each other. We have fireworks, laughter, disasters, dirty talk and plenty of steamy moments, what a fantastic way to finish the series. I read this book on Kindle Unlimited.

What an Ending!!!

This book was filled with a lot of emotions. I laughed at the way Eyes and Courtney's dates were playing out. Cried for Joseph an Katherine's situation. Angry and sad that one person had so much hate in for another to cause so much chaos and pain. I couldn't put my tablet down for to long, I had to finish the story and find out that evil would not win that love and the good in people is still alive. But what amazed me the most is the men and women in our military world who offer their services even after they retire. They are definitely an amazing embodiment of who they are and how willing to continue to sacrifice their lives for the safety of us. I'm in awe of their strength and courage in their souls. Definitely a must read.

Reborn...

Anderson Special Ops book 5. A beautiful ending to a wonderful series. This is Jon aka Eyes story. As an alpha and the leader of the unit, Jon is all that and then some. Then Courtney a badass reporter in her own right enters his life and he is never the same. She shakes up his world. And now the forever bachelor has fallen in love. Add some bad guys, messy date nights and a whole lot of craziness. This book is filled with WTF drama, shenanigans and passion of all sorts. Side note the hard hitting issues like Katherine's dementia and the talk at the military gala will gut punch you but at the same time give you hope for the world yet to come. Never preachy. Awesome storytelling.

Oh how I loved this book! I highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved this story about Courtney and Jon aka Eyes, the last of the Ops Team to find his HEA.. They met when Courtney interviewed Eyes in the hospital overseas after he was injured bad enough to end his military career. Then years later, they met again when Eyes moved to Seattle to lead the team for Mr Anderson. Courtney was after the story, so Joseph brought her in to work with them. Joseph also thought the two of them would make a great match! And of course , he was right. This book is fast moving, pulse pounding, and you want to keep reading! Jon and Courtney have such hot chemistry! This is a must read! I highly recommend this last book in the Special Option series. You'll be so glad you did! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Outstanding Series

Loved it, I'm sad that this series is over. But I'm hoping that somehow someway they will come together again. This is so well writing, I've read all of the Anderson but this one makes your heart ache. You just wanted to reach out and take Joseph in your arms and take away his pain. It's all about a love for his family, his wife, his friends. Joseph created the Black Ops to bring down drug trafficking in the city.
I must say I'm going to miss these five men, but they found their HEA. Just love it and can't wait to find out what Melody Anne will write next. The legacy will continue and know it.

And Another Bites the Dust!

This is Reborn: Anderson Special Ops book 5 written by Melody Anne. This book is the last of the books for our wonderful group of amazing men in the special group that was been formed by Joseph Anderson to investigate and rid the city of the hidden dark underbelly. Jon aka Eyes is the team leader and the only single guy left and he is about to go down in the biggest way! This book was also quite sad as we watched our beloved Katherine progress with her terrible disease and had to witness Joseph’s torment and collapse as he can only watch his love. I’ll admit it left me sobbing with him. Beautiful love story.

Wonderful series!

The five book, Anderson Special Ops series is a great series in the Anderson saga. Each of the books is about one of the men who comprises the group. The series gives background on their lives, how they grew up and became who they are. How each met their wife, ups and downs in their courtship, and finally falling in love and getting married, along with the help of Joseph Anderson.
All of the books are great reads. The stories of the strong women they marry are just as interesting.
All of the Anderson books are great reads, well worth the time.

Reborn: Anderson Special Ops: Book Five by John Henley, Melody Anne

I hate that the Special Op series has to end. I so enjoyed the story lines in all five books and the men were exceptional. I understand the title of this book. Jon who protest love the most fell the hardest. Courtney was truly his soul mate. Anna Miller thought she got away but got her just reward. Joseph Anderson lives to meddle another day. Now it’s time for Jasmine to shine. I recommend this to mature readers due to some of the hot content.

WTH!

First of all I Love the Andersons. Jon (Eyes) , who knew he was such a softie. Courtney was perfect for him. Every series I kept waiting for him to hook up with someone. I had kinda forgot about the interview after him and Sleep last mission as Seals.
They all the criminals out of Seattle, Damien still had the crazy sister trying to kill him. This book was full of goodies. Good story.
