Although this book was a collection of shorts, i didn’t feel that anything was missing. I thought that each story was well written, and you don’t necessarily have to read the stories before it to enjoy each short. There was one series I hadn’t read prior to this one, The Collide Series, but after reading this short, i will definitely be adding it to my “to be read” list.
My favorite story of the three was the short from Fast. Once again, Ms. Belizaire did a phenomenal job of incorporating real life issues with fiction. I loved reading about Khafi and how beautiful his soul is💜

So good!
It was just enough to bring us up to date on our favorite couples. I can’t say which one I enjoyed the most but I was pleasantly surprised where Shawn and Caprice are in their lives. Millie, keep them coming and I’ll keep reading!

Its always a pleasure getting to revisit characters you fell in love with and getting glimpses into what their lives turn out to be after flipping the final pages of their books.
I absolutely ADORE every single couple in this novella and I couldn't stop smiling while reading each story. Millie even threw in a little chapter for Caprice and Shauns son, Kahfi and now I want more of him as well!
Millie's writing is always SO engaging and entertaining. I haaate novella's but when they're written well, they're the best form of escape. BUT I STILL WANT MORE! lol

I loved everything about this collection of shorts! The updates on these couples just confirms why I fell in love with them before. Their stories still makes me smile.
The growth in their relationships are evident alongside the steadfast love they share with one another. We love to see Black love winning!
The interaction between Shaun and Kahfi was hilarious yet precious. Kahfi's journey of self-discovery and his pre-pubescent emotions had me gushing. He was just like Shaun. Just like Shaun!!

The cutest novella!
This update was perfection and just what we needed on these characters! I didn’t know it was possible, but Kahfi made me love him more than I did when I was first introduced to him.

Lovers Day
My fav three couples left me wanting more and didn’t disappoint at all. Kain and Lauren brought in V-Day with extra ppl and I can’t wait to see an update on them. Drew and Eden are still in love but Drew fans are giving them the blues but Andrew have proven why he’s all man and not letting up. Caprice, Shaun and Kahfi are my favs and they ended the book very well with Kahfi stealing the show once again. Great update, editing and just the right amount of love we needed for Lovers Day.

I have one thing to say........Kahfi and Riley! Ms. Belizaire if you’re reading this review, I hope my gut feeling is correct in anticipating a new series featuring these two characters! It would be a fantastic read for sure! Now back to the book. This was an enjoyable read. No on the edge of your seat suspense and action, but rather a peek into the everyday life of some of our favorite characters. My favorite story was Shaun and Caprice (from Fast). As always, those two are down to Earth, interesting, and relatable. Can’t wait to see what happens with Kahfi and Riley! The story with Kain and Lauren was okay, but they really need some action and drama to keep them interesting. I enjoyed getting to know Drew and Eden previously in the Garden of Eden, but found them unlikeable in this book. They came off as arrogant and snobby. But that didn’t take away from the overall enjoyability of the book. It was well written and flowed well with no slow/boring parts. I recommend this book. And I’ll be on the lookout for the Kahfi and Riley story!

Be Mine the novella
I throughly enjoyed reading this novella. Millie brought back her couple from her previous books and gave us an update surrounding the day of love, Valentine’s Day. I loved the story telling of each couple and it had a nice transition to tell their stories. I was sad to see the stories end but I got fulfillment once the book ended. Great job!

So thankful for the valentines glimpse at these amazing couples. Of course, Shaun and Caprice is that couple I am still so in love with since Fast was the last book. I love seeing them in the parenting stage. Khafi is Shaun all over again!

This was such a great novella. I love these couples, so I really appreciated the drop into their lives and seeing that they’re still thriving. The writing was so good, cute and funny, and just what I needed. I especially loved Shaun, Caprice, and Kahfi. That little boy always melts my heart ❤️

Kahfi is my favorite!!!!
It was awesome to catch up with our favorite couples. Last year's fast was one of my top favorite reads of 2020 and the author confirmed with this work why. I absolutely love Shaun and Caprice but the star of this book is Kahfi! Loved him in fast and absolutely adore him with Riley. I hope the author will give us more of Kahfi. So good!

Sweet Updates
I enjoyed the update on all of the couples! It was great seeing them progressing together.
I greedily wanted more after the ending of Lauren and Kain's series and this update answered my questions. Lauren and Kain have moved and have great plans for their future. It was unclear how they were navigating law school for Kain and now we have that insight. It was great to see them both progressing in their perspective fields. I'm here for a boss as$ couple that didn't really need to work. However, because there is always drama Lauren might be sharing something that will forever shift their plans. It was great to see how in tune they were with each other. They always had a great connection and time has only enhanced it. I died laughing at the snarky conversation he had in his head in the car. Always a protector of Lauren's even from his own thoughts. It was still a very sweet and life changing Vday for them. This update steps them into the next phase of their lives and YES I would read another book 🤷🏾♀️.
Eden and Andrew are still going strong! This update is about how they are handling being scrutinized by the world. Eden's fans are so extra and she doesn't appreciate the backlash Andrew receives just for being her husband. Eden wants to control the narrative, but it only seems to get worse. Low-key Eden is scared to lose Andrew, and is worried that there is only so much hate he can take. Andrew reassures her that the opinions of others mean absolutely nothing to him. He is all in forever with her. I appreciated Andrew, he protected Eden's well being constantly and ensured she always had a voice. He didn't care what the outside world thought about it either. This sweet family is doing well and baby Jade was the icing on the cake.
Shaun and Caprice are my faves!! After all that they went through, I was overjoyed to see them doing so well. This couple touched my heart. It was nice to see their baby girl growing, talking, and being a little ham. Kahfi is a whole teenager learning to acclimate in the world and I just loved to see it. I loved the banter between them thinking they were the better parent, when it was clear they were both needed. Sweet Kahfi made my day and his thought process was so similar to Shaun's you would think that was his biological child. I could use another book lol.
Make sure you read the main books for all of these couples so that you can properly enjoy these sweet updates. I'm definitely a new Millie Belizaire fan!
